Föreliggande rapport är avsedd som ett examensarbete i elektroteknik (20p).Syftet med arbetet är att skapa en applikation för att finna störningar pålågspänningsnätet upp till 95kHz. Bakgrunden till arbetet kommer frånenergibolagen som vill kunna skicka datainformation direkt pålågspänningsnätet, detta vill de kunna göra med hastigheter mellan 2k ? 5kHz. Beroende på med vilken hastighet man vill skicka information kan störningar mellan givna frekvenser hindra datatransmissionen, därför är detviktigt att hitta vid vilka frekvenser störningarna uppstår så att lämpligaåtgärder kan vidtas.Grundläggande delar i applikationen är ett oscilloskop för mätning, dator medGPIB- kort för upptagning av data och LabView programvara för hantering avdata. AbstractAim of this project was to analyse signals and try to localize the position of source of sound. It is donewith three microphones which have 90 degrees angle to each other. Each microphone detects one partof the sound wave. The microphones are connected toan ADC which turns signals from analogue todigital shape. After that the three signals are transformed to a computer.

Uppgiften var att utveckla en utrustning för mätning av lågfrekventa vibrationer i terränggående fordon. Utrustningen ska kunna samla in vibrationsdata, utföra frekvensanalys samt lagra resultatet på någon form av lagringsmedia. Till skillnad från nuvarande system ska denna utrustning kunna hanteras av maskinföraren, utan hjälp av mättekniker. Detta tillsammans med en stor lagringskapacitet medför att mätningar kan utföras under en längre tidsram än tidigare. Analys av mätningen underlättas genom att datat redan är färdigbehandlat vid mottagandet.

This thesis aims to research how megacorporations are depicted in popular media by analyzing the video game Cyberpunk 2077. In this assignment I focus on how the narrative of said game discusses economic globalization, megacorporations specifically which is accomplished using a set of theories such as: exploitation, commodification and capitalist realism. The analysis is constituted using a modified version of narrative analysis in order to better suit my research field as well as presenting a clear and concise structure a reader can follow. This study concludes that Cyberpunk 2077 constructs a dystopian world with the megacorporations holding the political power where the majority is constantly oppressed by the 1% in power. Things that we find human are questioned and diminished in order to increase the profits of those in power which tends to be the megacorporations.

This master thesis deals with the theme of memory, it is through an artistic process I have investigated and peeled off to a specific memory, the hut. It is in the work of the personal memory through a craft process it transforms into something public. The hut is constructed out of corrugated boxes, corrugated boxes casted in clay. To cast an object differs according to me from sculpting the object; it is the function rather than the sensual feeling that is sought after. It is about the clarity and accuracy through the casted object that suggest something vague and indeterminate.

AbstractNowadays, companies and organizations manage large amounts of data to be used as support in decision making. A good solution for data management is in the form of data warehouses. A data warehouse is used to gather information from multiple sources within a company and arrange the information in a way that makes it easy to retrieve and analyze. Designing a data warehouse is not a simple task. The study herein will focus on what a data warehouse is and how the ETL process is used for data storage in the data warehouse. ETL stands for Extract, Transform and Load and is the process that retrieves data, transforms it and finally loads it into the data warehouse.

Polykemi AB använder kontinuerligt FTIR-analys för materialidentifiering, felsökning och utveckling. Företaget har ett omfattande referensbibliotek med spektra för råvaror i form av polymerer, additiv, fyllmedel och förstärkningsmedel. Företaget köper rena polymerer som modifieras genom att polymer och fyllmedel blandas i en extruder och en plastsammansättning erhålls. Den praktiska delen av examensarbetet inleddes med upptagande av FTIR-spektrer från några av de termoplaster, additiv, fyllmedel och förstärkningsmedel som företaget använder. Slutligen upptogs spektrer från ett antal modifierade plaster. Dessa spektrer tolkades och de ingående ämnena identifierades. Två olika metoder har använts vid analyserna: filmteknik och diffus reflektans.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to examine the use of IT, that is the Internet and other applications of personal computers, among seniors 65+. It also deals with issues of access to IT for seniors in public libraries. The theoretical background of the study consists of Rogers "Diffusion of innovations", Hektors categories of information activities, and the Swedish IT-commissions categories of motives and prerequisites for the use of IT. The research questions focus on factors motivating the use of IT, the extent and the purposes of IT use, the consequences and the barriers that IT-users experience, and views on IT in public libraries and IT courses, respectively. Qualitative interviews were carried out with nine senior IT-users.

AbstractThis study is a critical analysis of three different views on human dignity and its function in the discourse of human rights: that of Christopher McCrudden, Jürgen Habermas and Elena Namli. The three positions are interpreted, analyzed and compared in order to see which is most reasonable.The conclusion is that Habermas?s and McCrudden?s view of human rights as legal reduces human dignity to a legal concept. Namli?s perspective of human dignity as a moral principle generates a wider understanding of human dignity and its function.

 Examensarbetsuppgiften har gått ut på att genomföra en prestandajämförelse mellan en hård och en mjuk processorkärna integrerad i en FPGA, i detta fall, en Virtex4 FX12 från Xilinx.System med de olika kärnorna har tagits fram, där antalet klockcykler för att genomföra olika beräkningar har mäts. Bland annat har algoritmen Fast Fourier Transform och dess invers beräknats för en vektor.De kärnor som har provats är den mjuka MicroBlaze framtagen av Xilinx samt den hårda PowerPC 405. Prestandan för systemet med mjuk kärna var 65 % av det med hård kärnaFörutom prestandamätningarna har en vidare teoretisk jämförelse mellan kärnorna genomförts. Utifrån den har slutsatsen dragits att när man behöver små volymer av FPGA-kretsar eller flera olika beräkningar skall göras är FPGAer med hård kärna att föredra. Om det är större volymer eller bara ett fåtal typer av beräkningar som skall utföras är en mjuk kärna mest fördelaktig, främst av ekonomiska skäl.

Many companies that have outsourced their IT-operations consider it to be problematic and complex to exercise management control and reach cost control which was the purpose of the IT-outsourcing. Purpose: To describe and analyze what affect IT-outsourcing has on a company?s management control system and a company?s possibility to exercise cost control.

This paper deals with prehistoric charred organic material, interpreted as bread, found in graves and in the underlying settlement at Kalvshälla, Järfälla parish in Uppland. The aim was to categorize the organic material morphologically and with the help of Fourier transformed Infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) to see whether it was bread or not. Material from 13 graves (dated to Late Roman Iron Age until Viking Age) and 3 finds from the settlement have been analysed. Differences were noted both in shape, porosity and structure. Some of the material has been interpreted as cereal based foodstuff instead of bread due to morphological discrepancies.

It is noted that reading SZ involves being simultaneously written by the work in a process of reciprocity; this entails a questioning of alleged possession of this or any work, it having been made accessible to the public by its publication.Das Man, as a concept for inauthenticity, needs a counterpart for authenticity, which in SZ is provided by Eigentlichkeit, Self-ownership.This comes into existence via ?being-towards-death?, where the caring being, as a being of possibilities, encounters its ultimate possibility death which is also the end of possibilities.The Inquiry debate, the main contenders of which were Hubert Dreyfus and Frederick Olafson, hinges on the question whether das Man should be understood primarily as ?at bottom a deformation of Mitsein? (Olafson) or ?the conformity necessary for the institution of collectively intelligible social practices (Dreyfus, in the words of his advocate in the debate, Taylor Carman). Both sides, however, give evidence of misreadings of SZ of a kind that call for an explanation. The proposal is that this could be given in an analysis of such a rhetoric of polemics that transforms SZ into a state of Vorhandenheit when making it an object of investigation by the contenders rather than such a tool for being-changed that is mentioned above.The relation between the two aspects of das Man, as oppressive know-all or as forms of established truth for Dasein, remains unsolved, however.

Thestudy is investigating the series of films as a connected unity, a connected unity that explores therelationship of God and mankind as it is presented in the films.The result of the study is that the image of God presented in the films of Ingmar Bergman isa God that moves from the transcendent sphere to the immanent sphere, a God, or ?the Holy? thatover the years transforms into something materialistic.
