Förändringen av friluftslivet i skolan : Hur tolkar idrottslärare friluftsliv i grundskolan?
The purpose of this study has been to exam how sports professors interpret the term"friluftsliv" and in which way sports professors treat "friluftsliv" and staying outside inElementary School.The paper stems from the reasons to why sports professors believe that "friluftsliv" is hard topursue in Elementary School.In order to carry out the purpose, five professors from four different schools have beeninterviewed. The choice of method been semi structured, qualitative, and individualinterviewing. The theoretical starting points are habitus- and ramfaktor theory.The conclusion of how sports professors find the term "friluftsliv", is that it is vieweddifferently depending on each ones individual background. The research showed that all fiveprofessors believed that Lgr11 has made the new curriculum much more clear and structured,also that "friluftsliv" is portrayed in a much more positive light.My study showed that these five professors aren't limited by the problems with "friluftsliv".Instead all five of them find it that the conditions for "friluftsliv" are good, and that the woodsare in direct connection with the woods..
Mental träning på schemat : Hör tankens kraft hemma i skolan?
AimThe aim with this study was to acquire knowledge of mental training and if you can use it in the Elementary School to increase in a short period of time the performance in a coordination test. Furthermore we wanted to investigate teachers understanding of the possibilities to perform this kind of training in the Elementary School, and if there is support for this in the school regulation.MethodAs method we have used a combination of a literature pre-study, interview and at the end an experiment. Before the experiment and interviews could take place we studied literature about mental training to get a basic knowledge of the subject. The facts we learned from our pre-study and interviews gave us the base for our experiment. The experiment group included 23 pupils in a third class at school situated in Stockholm.

This study is about what teachers in primary schools say that they are doing to create a school for all.The purpose of this study is to find out what teachers in primary schools say that they do on their mission to create a school for everyone and how they organize teaching to achieve this. The study was conducted as an interview of five teachers from Elementary School of different gender and with a qualitative method because it provides a great opportunity to problematize, interpret and understand the responses of the interviewees.The results show that all the teachers think that their mission is to teach so that they can give each student what they need to achieve the goals. This may not be every day but over time, they hope that all students feel that they get so much of the teacher's time that they need..
Ella Matematik - Internetbaserat läromedel för grundskolans matematikundervisning
Ella Mathematics is a web portal that will completely replace the printed math text book in the Swedish Elementary School. When the math education is moved in to the digital world the flexibility and adaptability will increase.In 2011 the Swedish government revised the Swedish school system, which contained a whole new curriculum for the Elementary School math education. This has been the foundation for the development of Ella Mathematics and the design of the three different users; student, teacher and parent. The development has been done with Dynamic Product Development methods from the project start in September 2011 until the final exam in May 2012.Ella Mathematics has been developed with the pupil?s math knowledge in focus.
Förväntningar och erfarenheter kring skolledarskap : en jämförande studie ur lärarperspektiv
Background: There have been several reforms within the Swedish educational system since the 1960´s, not only within the Elementary School but also within the teachers? education and the school leaders´ educational program.Aim: My aim with this study is to explore if teachers´ expectations and experiences of school leadership have changed since the many educational reforms began in the 1960´s.Method: For this study I have a used a comparative design. By making qualitative interviews with five teachers born in the 1940´s and five teachers born in the 1980´s I have then analyzed the result.Result: Regardless of the 40 years of age difference and the multiple reforms within the educational system in Sweden the result shows that the teachers in this study did not have any clear expectations on their school leaders as they started their careers..

The purpose with this essay is to study how students in Elementary School are placed within the subject called ?svenska som andrasspråk?, or SVA. SVA is a subject specially designed to deal with the complications that students with a different native language encounter when trying to learn Swedish. National school documents state that a student is to be offered SVA if he or she has a different native language than Swedish and if the headmaster decides it?s ?needed?. In this work I focus on the different factors which are involved in the headmasters decision whether a student should be in a SVA-class or a normal Swedish class.

The Regional State Archive in Uppsala [Landsarkivet i Uppsala] has several archives left from various types of educational institutions in the counties of Dalarna, Södermanland, Uppsala, Västmanland and Örebro. This archiv-al guide reveals the main content of some of the school archives. It goes through the archives of the Elementary School, state secondary grammar schools and private secondary grammar schools. A few special schools for the blind and the deaf children are included. The essay also brings up records from community homes and reformato-ries for children and young adults who experienced certain difficulties and therefore could not adjust to the ordi-nary educational system.

The school can be seen as a place that reflects the wider community. Here is a school welfare officer an important representative of the school social work. The main subject of our study is to clarify how the school welfare officers? talk about documentation in the individual meeting with the pupil. Through individual interviews with five school welfare officers in Elementary Schools in three municipalities in the southern part ofSweden, we have attempted to explore these main research question.In addition to qualitative interviews we have accomplished a survey study that included 178 school welfare officers throughout the country.The result of our two studies demonstrates the school welfare officers? free work where the choice to document or not is wide.
Delta på lika villkor? : En studie om ekonomiskt utsatta barns skolsituation sett utifrån ett lärarperspektiv.
The aim of this essay was to create an understanding of teachers strategies to respond to children in economic hardship in school and if these children can participate on equal terms in school. To examine this, we chose to do semi-structured interviews which is a qualitative method. Eight teachers were interviewed from four different Elementary Schools. In our interviews, we found that all the schools both had elements of inclusion and exclusion, which can result in both equal and unequal terms for participation in school. We also found that the school with the most students in economic hardship had the most inclusive strategies.
Från färdighetsträning till vokalt uttryck : Om sången i grundskolans läroplaner
The subject singing in Elementary School changed its name to music in 1955 and with the name change followed a change in the content of the topic. In my study, I examine the perspective of how song as a subjekt has changed in the basic school curriculum texts. As a complement to text analysis, I used interviews in which two music teachers with long service in primary school were interviewed. My survey shows that there has been a clear change of the contents of concept song from being a pure skill where the aim was the vocal line benefits in different contexts and is today a vocal expression that can be embodied in many different ways. Curriculum texts have not been crucial to the changing content of the concept song.

We used gender theory, when weanalyzed our individual responses to interview questions. We made six qualitative interviewswith low-and high school teachers, assistant principals, counselors and special educationteachers training in Kalmar County.

Children at the age of six, has since 1991 been allowed to start their tuition in the Swedish school system. Studies reveal that; the first school year (preschool) can be a stressful task dueto the new environment, new friendships and higher expectations.The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze how the teachers perceive their own role in the transitioning process from preschool to school. This purpose required a method of qualitative complexion and therefore qualitative interviews were used. The material is based on four interviews with four different teachers. The teachers were asked the same question considering; the transition from preschool to school from a pupil point of view, their own role in that transition and their opinions on different educational tools.

The aim of this study was to explore and increase understanding of how a team of colleagues at an upper-secondary school in Sweden works with students with special education needs. The team works with a group of students where the majority have experienced school failure in Elementary School. The focus of the study has been to analyze a project that the school undertook 2013 to improve students? results and improve their chances to successfully graduate from their program. Data was collected from relevant documents and interviews with members of the project at hand.
Sjuksköterskans upplevelse av att bedriva psykiatrisk omvårdnad : En litteraturstudie
Background: Studies have shown that 66 children and teenagers in Sweden suffers from brain tumor every year. Children and teenagers who can´t participate in the regular school for a longer time for whatever reason, have by the school law the right to education in hospitals or institutions. Education that take place in other places than school most try to follow the same guidelines as his/hers usual school. This applies to students in Elementary School, compulsory school, special school, Sami school, secondary school and upper secondary school.Purpose: The purpose of this study was to find out how three teachers at a hospital school plans their work with children in grade from 1 to 3, who suffer from cancer, especially brain tumor. How can the teachers at the hospital school plan and organize their teaching so that it´s possible for the children whit brain tumor to feel as normal as possible. How does the common work between the consultant nurse, teachers at the hospitals and their ordinary school prevent the children to feel like an outsider?Method: I have chosen to do a qualitative study followed by three interviews whit three informants who works at a hospital school.
