Today's consumers are demanding more and more from companies and are no longer as easy to im-press as they used to be. It is now the consumers that hold an increasing amount of power over com-panies and not the other way around. This change in consumer behaviour has caused an identity crisis for traditional advertising, and companies are now searching for new ways of reaching their target audience. The purpose of this combined qualitative and quantitative case study is to examine possible risks and possibilities that a retailing company face when communicating through Facebook. Data has been collected through in-depth interviews with company representatives combined with a quantitative study of the company's Facebook followers in order to answer the questions of (1) which possibilities and risks a retailing company face through the use of a Facebook fanpage and (2) if there is a differ-ence in the attitude and behaviour of active respectively passive followers that may have been caused by a retailing company's marketing communication on Facebook.

I denna uppsats undersöks dagstidningen Svenska Dagbladet under de dagar de olympiska spelen hålls vid fyra olika årtal för att studera medias bild av kvinnor som idrottar. Undersökningen tar sin början vid år 1912, därefter följer åren 1948 och 1968 för att sedan avslutas vid det senaste OS-tillfället år 2008. Vid de dagar tävlingarna hölls, som varierar i antal, har tidningarna som gavs ut de två första dagarna, de två dagarna i mitten och de två avslutande dagarna studerats och analyserats för att skapa en bild av tidningens attityd till idrottsutövande kvinnor. Några generella slutsatser från resultatet kan inte göras, däremot ges en inblick i hur attityden till kvinnor och idrott utvecklats under 94 år. Resultatet från denna uppsats kan användas för att förstå var de normer och attityder vi har idag grundar sig.

Föreliggande systematiska litteraturstudies syfte var att inhämta information om och evidensgradera sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsåtgärder hos patienter med MS. Artiklar söktes ur databasen Electronic Libary Information Navigator (ELIN) via biblioteket på Högskolan Dalarna. Sökorden ?multiple sclerosis? och ?quality of life? användes. Artiklarna kvalitetsgranskades efter granskningsmallar med 28 bedömningskriterier därefter evidensgraderades artiklarna med hjälp av en tillämpad granskningsskala (Batshevani, 2008).

In today?s world urbanisation is an on-going process, cities are growing and becoming denser, and places for recreation gain value. Therefore, urban parks are much appreciated by people living in cities. When the first public parks where planned, their main function was to increase health, hygiene, education and social life. In the middle of 19th century the meaning of public parks to people?s wellbeing gained attention and parks were planned to provide space for lively activities. This paper focuses on parks? activities.

Denna systematiska litteraturstudie syftade till att beskriva och kartlägga humorns betydelse i omvårdnadsarbetet med inriktning på humorns påverkan på patientens välbefinnande, sjuksköterskans kommunikation med patienter och närstående samt sjuksköterskans psykosociala arbetsmiljö. Tjugo vetenskapliga artiklar, vilka sökts huvudsakligen via fulltextbasen Electronic Library Information Navigator (ELIN), valdes ut utifrån titel, abstrakt och genomläsning, varefter de kvalitetsgranskades och genomgick textanalys utmynnande i sex temata. Dessa evidensgraderades utifrån artiklarnas kvalitet. Resultatet visade att humor upplevdes ha betydelse i omvårdnadsarbetet både för patient och sjuksköterska genom att göra det lättare att hantera känslor, bygga upp en positiv självbild och att bevara värdigheten. Humorn är ett verktyg i bemästring av sjukdom och hälsoproblem samt viktig för en god kommunikation mellan såväl sjuksköterska och patient som mellan vårdpersonal.

We aim to develop knowledge of how new technology, in this case social media, can contribute to how sports fans interact with their idols. Therefore our framing of a question is to present how fans experience their contact with mixed martial arts (MMA) & ultimate fighting championship (UFC) through social media platforms. To specify our study, we also have a supplement question with in which way sports fans uses social media.We have chosen to conduct a qualitative study consisting of interviews and data observations of websites, related to the organization UFC, to approach our main question. We have interviewed nine randomly selected people with one common interest - MMA/UFC. With an implant of theories, consisting of social media, fandom and lurking, on the result of the interview and website data, we try to come closer to a conclusion for our intention with this thesis.Our conclusion is that the interviewed fans express that through the usage of social media, they feel like they have come closer to UFC.

Introduction: Diabetes type 1 is a common chronic disease in children and adolescents. The disease affect, not only the child, but also the parents in their everyday life. Vid rehabilitering efter en idrottsskada kan man se dålig följsamhet av rehabiliteringsträningen och en av de främsta orsakerna som påverkar hur rehabiliteringen efterföljs och utgången av den är idrottarens motivation. Här kan man se hur det framförallt är en autonom motivation som resulterar i att rehabiliteringsträningen utförs. Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka upplevda motivationsfaktorer hos damfotbollsspelare i samband med rehabilitering efter en idrottsskada och i vilken utsträckning som dessa motivationsfaktorer sågs som autonoma. Metod: Kvalitativa intervjuer utifrån en semi-strukturerad intervjuguide med damfotbollsspelare som genomgår en rehabilitering efter en idrottsskada analyserade med innehållsanalys och utifrån självbestämmande teorin. Resultat: Motivationsfaktorerna som upplevdes var motiven till varför de utförde rehabiliteringsträningen, sina målsättningar, ett socialt stöd samt av en extern och intern press.

Damhockeyspelare hyllas inte lika ofta som herrhockeyspelare i sportmedia. Tidigare forskning tyder istället på att damidrottare oavsett sport sexualiseras och trivialiseras. Den här studien har undersökt hur svensk sportmedia konstruerar damhockey, specifikt i relation till herrhockey. Det teoretiska ramverket utgick från diskursteori och genusteori. The aim of this Master thesis is to study how management, teachers and librarians at the university college Swedish school of sport and health sciences (GIH) view information literacy (IL) as a standard in higher education. I have used a sociocultural theoretical perspective, as the focus being on co-operation within the institutional context. The following questions are focused on: Of what importance are the control documents concerning IL as a standard in the educational program? How do the respondents view the value of, and the responsibility for, IL as a standard in the educational program? What are the conditions for co-operation at GIH to reach the standards of the higher education act? The methodology used is qualitative case study. Six qualitative interviews were carried out in order to describe the attitudes of the management, teachers and librarians related to this subject.

Det finns en stor variation av raser med olika form och storlek hos hästar. De olika hästraserna har förändrats genom åren delvis på grund av hästens olika användningsområden. Idag används hästen som fritidsaktivitet, inom sport med mera jämfört med förr då den användes mest inom jordbruket eller för militära syften. Hästens exteriör är av stor betydelse både för hästens välfärd och inom aveln för att bedöma förutsättningen att kunna prestera och långsiktigt vara hållbara. Hos vissa raser har förändringen av kroppsformen skett oerhört snabbt orsakat av bland annat intensiv selektion.
