MobileReader är en mobil RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) applikation. Syftet med denna applikation är att skapa en RFID-läsare som skall gå att bära med sig ute på fältet. I första hand kommer läsaren att kunna läsa passiva RFID-taggar på Lågfrekvens-bandet (LF) samt att vara anpassad för nyare mobiltelefoner av tillverkaren Sony Ericsson. Detta examensarbete resulterade i ett program avsett för en Atmel ATmega16 mikroprocessor. Mikroprocessorn tar emot data från en befintlig LF-läsare via ett protokoll vid namn Wiegand 44.

This thesis has been a part of Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB's evaluation of a turbulencemodel used in simulation of turbulent flow called PRNS (Partially Resolved NumericalSimulation). This model has promising properties and may be of use in savingcomputational resources. The purpose of this thesis was to analyze this model andcompare it with industrially applied models such as k-omega SST and LES (Large EddySimulations).PRNS works as a hybrid of the k-omega SST and DNS (Direct Numerical Simulation)where a constant, RCP (Resolution Control Parameter) with a value between 0 and 1are selected. This constant is then used in the calculations and determines thebehavior of the simulation. When RCP is set to zero the equation are the same as fora DNS simulation and when RCP is set to one the equations for k-omega SST issolved.

The investigation is focusing on the development of the organization of knowledge, of the catalogues, of the classification system and of the information retrieval. The thesis examines the factors which force the development of the activity at the library and of the organization of knowledge. The study uses a qualitative approach which is based on investigations of different types of catalogues, of the electronic database, of the classification system, of the subject indexing and on interviews. A describing analysis is used.

Systemintegration är arbetet med att få IT-system att samarbeta med varandra. Inomsystemintegration finns det idag ett glapp mellan den tekniska dokumentationen och den tekniskalösningen vilket försvårar arbetet med att ta fram och underhålla integrerade system. För att underlättadetta skapades på uppdrag av Ipendo Systems en databasmodell för att kunna lagra tekniskdokumentation om integrationssystem. Lösningen implementerades i Microsoft SQL Server. Underarbetet utvecklades stöd för hämtning av data från integrationsplattformen BizTalk.

In today's changing environment, an increasing number of companies are realizing thebenefits of analyzing business information and thereby stay competitive. By making use ofdecision support systems, known as Business Intelligence (BI), organizations are expected tocollect and process business data and thus get more out of their business.Nowadays it is not enough for organizations to have access to corporate data inside officewalls, they must also be able to bring the information "on the go", which has been thefoundation for the progress of mobile BI solutions. As the mobility increases and thecorporate data leaves the office, new risks arise, which is one reason as to why manycompanies hesitate at the idea of introducing mobile BI solutions.In this paper we explore two security aspects in the area of mobile BI solutions. Our researchquestion is as follows: How does security aspects affect a company's decision to acquiremobile BI solutions? The survey was conducted through interviews in cooperation with thefirm Optivasys, exclusively dedicated to the BI solution QlikView.A significant part of the theory we studied describes security as critical; however, ourresearch suggests a solution on how companies can manage the security aspects.

Abstract PurposeThis thesis aims to focus on how master students administer scholarly articles after they have found them. The purpose of the study is to detect how and to what extent people administer their articles from a personal information management-perspective (PIM).MethodTo answer the research questions, a web-based questionnaire survey was distributed which was announced to around 2,000 master students from different universities in Sweden. Most of the items in the survey focused on individual storage methods. The respondents were asked to rate the frequency of their different information administration behaviors on a seven level Likert-type-scale. Subsequently, items concerning specific information administration behaviors were posed, followed by questions on the respondent's sociodemographic status.

Detta arbete har utförts hos utvecklingsgruppen inom Gargnäs Elteknik AB. Gruppen har tagit fram ett kommunikationssystem för gruvhissar där man förmedlar data och röst, Cagecom. Min första uppgift blev att sammanställa dokumentationen för alla delprojekt. Jag har gjort en webb-presentation av Cagecom som kommer att ligga på deras hemsida. För att ladda programvara till Cagecom använder man sig av ett dumpprogram.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att modellera och prognostisera Sveriges varuexport, varuimport och handelsnetto. Vi använder oss av data från januari 1975 till och med augusti 2010 för respektive serie. Dessa data testas och jämförs i olika ARIMA- och SARIMA-modeller samt skattas även medelst säsongsreningsprogrammet TRAMO/SEATS. För de modeller som bäst passar serierna genomförs därefter in sample- och out of sample-analyser med felmåtten RMSE och MAPE. The purpose of the essay is to by means of a quantitative method investigate what the portrayal of GLBT-people looks like in a selection of Swedish and New Zealand newspapers. The essay focuses on aspects such as the gender ratio between GLBT-people who are mentioned and also those who are allowed to speak out in the newspapers. Also in what proportions the newspapers portrays the different fractions of the GLBT-term, what subjects are covered and what types of sources are used are areas of interest.The analysis is conducted through a quantitative research method where two Swedish newspapers (Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter) and two New Zealand newspapers (The Dominion Post and The New Zealand Herald) were selected. Three periods of 15 days were selected for each newspaper and electronic databases were used in order to try and collect all articles with relevance for this study.The theoretical background consists of Tiina Rosenberg?s theories about media?s role in the individuals? identity shaping, Nina Björk?s feminist theories connected to gender and power, and the patriarchal structure of society, and also Anders Sahlstrand?s accounts of journalism?s use of sources and their effect on the audience?s perception of the news presented.The main results from the analysis points towards preponderance in the occurrence of male homosexuality and male homosexuals.

Uppsatsen grundas kring teorier om att aktiemarknadens aktörer är relativt dåliga på att förutspå aktiers utveckling. Den helt rationelle investeraren som är en av grundstenarna för teorin om den effektiva marknadsportföljen verkar ej existera. Den effektiva marknadsportföljen, praktiskt uttryckt som ett marknadsvärdeviktat index, blir då en olämplig förebild att följa vid investeringsförfarande. Vidare grundas undersökningen på teori vilken antyder att historiska resultat ger en god indikation om företags framtida utveckling. Vi har studerat en stor mängd företag noterade på den svenska börsen under perioden 1992-2003.

Detta arbete utgör en sammanhållen bild av den elektroniska legitimationens (e-legitimationens) framväxt i Sverige, vilket är en viktig förutsättning för utvecklingen av säkra offentliga elektroniska tjänster inom den elektroniska förvaltningen. Eftersom statsförvaltningens styrning historiskt uppfattats som relativt otydlig har området med tiden kommit att präglas av olika enskilda aktörers egna insatser, intressen och föreställningar. Studiens bidrag är att beskriva och analysera framväxten av den svenska e-legitimationen med hjälp av de tre analysperspektiven deltagande, föreställningar samt legitimitet. Jag har i studien intresserat mig för vad som skett historiskt och hur detta kan kopplas till det som sker i nutid kring e-legitimationer. Särskild vikt har lagts vid aspekter av icketeknisk natur varvid studien kan ses som en motvikt till den tydligt teknikfokuserade utredning kring den framtida e-legitimationen som genomfördes under hösten 2010.

Uppsatsen ämnar därför undersöka om det finns likheter hos säljare på medieföretag och brottare i en idrottsförening. Dessa organisationer valdes eftersom det ansågs föreligga likheter i deras sätt att arbeta och träna. This report tested the possibility of using induction as a mean for transferring data and power so that it can be implemented as a communication medium between a terminal and measuring head mounted in a measuring frame. This would eliminate the need for the cable bunches that are used today. For testing, signal generators were used to generateFSK-signals and were transferred with the help of inductors to the oscilloscope for signal detection, this to see how the coils used in the tests behaved. Simulations of a PLL were performed to see how good it could handle FSK-demodulation. With the help of a PLL IC and the simulations a working FSK-demodulator could be assembled.

Idag saknas ett liknande system somvara ett stöd för hemvärnets instruktörer vid utvärderingar som har till syfte att ökaförståelsen hos övande personal. Systemet består av en mobilapplikation och enwebbapplikation. Mobilapplikationen loggar hur en soldat har framryckt under ettövningsmoment och sedan sammanställs data från en eller flera mobilapplikationer ien webbapplikation där data visas på en interaktiv karta. Utvecklingen av medborgare samt företags användande av Internet har ökat dramatiskt under de senaste fem åren. Det ökande Internetanvändandet ledde till att statskontoret 1999 fick i uppdrag av regeringen att ta fram olika förslag samt underlag som skulle ligga till grund för begreppet 24-timmars myndigheten. Tjänsten är beräknad att tas tillbruk i Sverige år 2005. 24-timmars myndigheten kommer tillämpa ett antal olika säkerhetslösningar, därav elektronisk signering. Denna utredning skall belysa hur stort inflytande säkerhetslösningen elektronisk signering kommer att ha på användaracceptansen av denna tjänst.
