The purpose of this study is to create a method that can be used to produce decision supportdata for the climate goals of a municipality. The method should be able to demonstrate the potential for reducing energy use and greenhouse gas emissions for measures aimed at the stationary energy system in the municipality. It will be used to make long term projections of energy use and greenhouse gas emissions in order to be able to demonstrate the ability to reach climate goals. The aim was also to test the method's applicability by using the municipality of Uppsala and the Uppsala climate protocol project in a case study. Uppsala climate protocol is a project consisting of participants from business, government and organizations that voluntarily want to commit to reducing their carbon footprint by reducing their energy use and thus work to achieve the municipality's overall climate goal.

Combustion of fossil fuels is today the dominating source of energy. During combustion,carbon dioxide is formed. The carbon dioxide accumulates in the atmosphere,which raises the global average temperature on earth through the so called greenhouseeffect. The only way to reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide from combustionin a coal fired power plant is through carbon capture and storage (CCS).Post-combustion capture is a technology to separate carbon dioxide from the uegas after the combustion for efficient transport and storage. The steady state operationof coal fired power plants with post combustion capture has already beenthoroughly investigated on a pilot scale, however much work remains to investigatethe plants dynamic operation.

Detta examensarbete behandlar de svenska mindre företagens val mellan K2- och K3-regelverken utifrån ett branschperspektiv. De nya k-regelverken uppkom i samband med att bokföringsnämnden ändrade redovisningsnormgivningen för att bättre passa de internationella normerna. Då k-regelverken blev obligatoriska för räkenskapsår efter den 31 december 2013, har detta inneburit att samtliga mindre företag varit tvungen att ta ställning till vilket av redovisningsregelverken de ska tillämpa under år 2014. Då det föreligger betydande redovisningsmässiga skillnader mellan K2- och K3-regelverken har valet för många företag karaktäriserats av osäkerhet och risk. Företags förmåga att hantera risker och möjligheter som uppstår i samband med osäkerhet utgör en viktig del av företagens strategiska riskhantering då det ämnar till att säkra organisationens framtid.Examensarbetet syftar till att utifrån ett branschperspektiv öka förståelsen kring de mindre företagens sätt att hantera BFN:s normgivningsomvandling och de risker som varit förenat med strategiska beslut och förändringar.
