This report is a study in voltagelevel in connection with regeneration of brake energy from the tramtype M31 in Gothenburg.In the act of braking, the tram M31 uses electrical braking where the electrical motors generates energy and if possible send it back to the overheadline, where other trams in the nearby can use this regenerated energy for its own driving force. In cases where no other energyconsumers are located in the same section, there is a resistance witch task is to convert this energy into heat. Integration och planering

Idag är integration ett aktuellt ämne och berör många människor i samhället, inte minst på grund av globaliseringen som pågår. Med integration menas att alla ska ha samma rättigheter och skyldigheter i samhället och därmed behandlas lika, oavsett vilken härkomst man tillhör, vilken socioekonomisk status man har eller vilket kön man tillhör etcetera. Motsatsen till och vad som motverkar integration är segregation. Man kan säga att de båda benämningarna är beroende av varandra. Utan segregation så kan man inte tala om någon integration, och framför allt inte arbeta mot en sådan eftersom det i så fall inte finns identifierbara grupper att integrera med varandra.

"Det är inte bara folkvalda politiker som utövar offentlig makt" : En jämförande studie gällande främjande av integration i fem kommuner i Stockholms län

Based on different integration policies, we aim to examine how five municipalities in Stockholm County are working to promote integration at a local level with focus on voter participation and to some extent, representativeness among foreign-born. Statistics provided by SCB shows that foreign-born tends to vote to a lesser extent than those born in Sweden. Further, we aim to examine the implementation of two policy documents established at a national level concerning integration in contrast to policy documents established at a local level in each different municipality. Further, we aim to examine summaries of actions taken in response to the local integration programs, as well as personal interviews. Each municipality will be considered separately, but we thus seek to make a comparative study.

Integration i fokus : Praktik som åtgärd till integration ? integration på egna villkor

Syftet med denna studie är att bringa bättre förståelse och ge en inblick i flyktingars egna upplevelser och erfarenheter gällande integrationsarbete under deras tid i Sverige samt under introduktionsperioden på integrationsenheten i Västerås. Jag har fokuserat min studie på att undersöka hur flyktingar upplever praktik som åtgärd till integration för att tillföra bättre förståelse för praktikanternas upplevelser samt identifiera problemområden som behöver förbättring eller utveckling. Enligt min mening tyder resultaten av mina kvalitativa djupintervjuer på att det finns ett behov av att fokusera på flyktingens upplevelse under introduktionstiden. Denna period kan vara avgörande för flyktingens framtida självuppfattning som jag anser skapar kollektiva gemenskaper som i sin tur leder till isolering och till slut det oundvikliga vi och dem tänkande som sätter hinder i vägen för en lyckad integration.Jag inbjuder läsarna att ta del av mitt arbete som belyser olika problemområden samt lyfter fram vilka åtgärder som behöver vidtas för en utveckling inom integrationsarbetet..

ESF-projektet ?Kvinnokraft?. En kvalitativ studie om nyckelaktörers uppfattningar om hinder för integration och projekt för somaliska kvinnor

Compared to all existing ethnic groups in Sweden, the integration of Somali women has failed the most within the aspect of employment. This bachelor?s thesis investigates the obstacles in the integration of Somali women by focusing on one case, a project named ?Kvinnokraft?, partly financed by the European Socialfund.By interviewing eight key actors, opinions about obstacles in the project have been identified. A theoretical framework that incorporates integration, project research, multi-level governance and intersectionality contributes to explaining difficulties in integrating Somali women.The empirical findings show that there are individual, social and institutional holdbacks. Stereotypical perceptions were common amongst officials, which contributes to a creation of an inferior position in the structures of the society for Somali women.

"Jag är hemma här, jag känner stället" : Om att komma till en norrländsk inlandskommun som kvotflykting.

Inlandskommunerna är de kommuner som tar emot flest flyktingar per invånare. Mycket har forskats på temat integration men få studier har undersökt integration på mindre orter. Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka om kvotflyktingar över 18 år som bor i en liten kommun anser sig vara eller ha möjlighet att bli integrerade i den kommunen samt vad de anser att inegration är. Studien baserades på sex kvalitativa intervjuer med kvotflyktingar boende på två orter i en norrländsk inlandskommun. Teorier som använts i studien är KASAM samt teorier om integration.Resultatet visar att de som bodde i centralorten överlag var nöjda och kände sig integrerade medan de som bodde på den mindre orten tyckte att den var för liten och inte erbjöd tillräckliga integrationsmöjligheter.

Meningsfulla möten? : om integration i utemiljön

Integration policies have failed to make diversity into anything more than occupying the same physical space. People of different cultural background still do not share their lives to any real extent. Attempts made within planning and landscape architecture to catalyst the integration process have mainly been focused on structural measures, such as residential policies. As for outdoor environments, non-verbal casual encounters in the shape of crossing paths are assumed to lie at the heart of urban social integration.The aim of the thesis is to question this assumption and, as the thesis will show, there is literature supporting this aim. Looking at the works of Gordon Allport, Lewis Coser and some of their followers, I find intercultural contact to require more complex ways of interaction in order to reduce prejudice and to generate tolerance and understanding.
