Inledning: Cancer är en ovanlig sjukdom hos barn och ungdomar och i Sverige drabbas cirka 300 styckenårligen. Prognosen har kraftigt förbättrats sedan 1970-talet, framförallt beroende på intensivarebehandlingsmetoder och större möjligheter att åtgärda och förebygga cytostatikans svåra biverkningar.Sjukhusvistelserna blir många och långa för barnen och ungdomarna. Förutom att deras vardagsliv med skolaoch kompisrelationer vänds upp och ned, påverkas hela familjens psykosociala tillvaro. Barnet/ungdomenbehöver sina föräldrar och syskon för att ta sig igenom en tuff cancerbehandling och viss vård, exempelvisantibiotika och intravenös näringstillförsel ges redan i hemmet för att underlätta för familjerna. Att ävenkunna erbjuda viss cytostatikabehandling och/eller understödjande behandling skulle vara ytterligare enmöjlighet för barnen och ungdomarna att få vara i sin normala miljö tillsammans med hela familjen ochövriga vänner.Syfte: Syftet med studien var att kartlägga faktorer som är betydelsefulla inför att ge cytostatika i hemmet tillbarn och ungdomar med cancer.Metod: En litteraturstudie genomfördes av tretton vetenskapliga artiklar som valts ut efter systematisksökning i databaserna Pubmed och Chinal.Resultat: De faktorer som framkom genom litteraturstudien och har betydelse för patientsäkerhet ochvårdkvalitet inför en organisation av cytostatikaadministrering i hemmet delades in i fem kategorier:? Tydlig ansvarsfördelning? Kompetens hos vårdpersonal? Undervisning av föräldrar? Kriterier för urval av patient och familj? Bakgrund: En stor del av Sveriges äldre, svårt sjuka befolkning bor sin sista tid i livet på särskilt boende. I personalens uppdrag ligger att främja de boendes självbestämmande men arbetet försvåras av de boendes nedsatta autonomi. Syfte: Pilotstudien syftade till att undersöka personalens upplevelse av den äldres självbestämmande när han eller hon vårdades i palliativt skede på särskilt boende. Metod: Pilotstudien genomfördes med kvalitativ innehållsanalys av fyra intervjuer med undersköterskor och sjuksköterskor som arbetade på särskilt boende. Resultat: Som manifest resultat framkom fem kategorier: Lindra lidande i döendet, Ta döden i egna händer, Självbestämmande efter omständigheterna, Bo i ett kollektiv och Kommunikation.

This is a qualitative study with the aim to find out how caregivers in a resourcegroup experince their work situation. We wanted to know how they where treated by the ordinary staff and what strains and possibilities they can encounter in their daily work. We used semistructured interviews to answer our questions.We found out that the ordinary staff of caregivers always treated the resourcegroup like one of them. A strain that the resourcegroup experienced was the shortage of time which sometimes resulted in that they felt stressful. The resourcegroup work on different floors each day, giving them a chance to see and learn new things.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva vilka riskfaktorer som kunde leda till höftfraktur hos äldre samt att beskriva vilka preventiva åtgärder sjuksköterskan kunde använda i omvårdnaden för att förhindra höftfraktur. Resultatet baserades på 21 vetenskapliga artiklar skrivna på engelskt språk. Exklusionskriterie var artiklar baserade på individer yngre än 50 år. Artiklarna söktes via databaserna Elin och Blackwell Synergy och skulle vara publicerade från år 1996 till 2006. Även manuell sökning genomfördes utifrån artiklars referenser samt en tidskrift.

AbstractThe aim with the study was to describe and to compare nurse students' views about importantcaring behaviors in order to give good caring. An empirical comparative study wasimplemented on a college in the middle of Sweden. Nurse students in the beginning and at theend of their education sorted and prioritized 50 caring behaviors (CARE-Q). The result showedthat the students' description of important caring behaviors has many similarities. However, theresult also showed that there were significant differences between the student-groups where thestudents at the beginning of their education rated several caring behavior as significant moreimportant than the students in the end of their education.

Internet's entry into our home has changed our communication capabilities. As a result more and more services in the digital world are available. Besides e.g. shopping, gaming and general information, different social networks now offer preventive and therapeutic health-oriented services. When being asked by several young people, with whom I have been working in a clinical setting, to offer conversations over the Internet that enables both to see and to hear each other in real time, I decided to conduct a pilot study which is presented in this paper. The aim was to investigate the feasibility of offering supportive therapy using video calls over the Internet.

This work is about getting to know tufting as a technique and to design tufted products for home furnishing.It all began in Finland, where during springtime 2004, I got in contact with the technique oftufting for the first time. A very pleasant meeting that resulted in two carpets and a longing to continueand learn more. It was then that an idea for my final project started to take form. My wish was to designtufted ?floor jewelleries? and cushions.I made a base for my project during a design project in autumn 2004.

I want to look at the possibilities to start selling hot water from a small district heating plant with bioenergy. My reason for doing this project is to look at a new business opportunity for our farm. Our company have less work during the winter time compared to the spring and this project will give us more work during the winter. I also want to take as much material as possible for heating from our farm in order to increase the value of the products from the farm. The project is in a village near us, where we should support a school, a churh, a home for the aged, a kindergarten and a parish hall with heat. In my work I have compared two different alternatives with each other. The first alternative is to put a central heater in one of the buildings, the home for the aged, in which we will burn oat.

During the time I've attended the programme to become a Transportation manager, I've been presented with quite a large number of different words. My purpose with this paper is to take a closer look at them, and see if they're sustainable concepts. This paper will be a literary study, and be on a wholly theoretical level. After a thorough examination of the various words, I've come to the conclusion that these words that I've chosen aren't just fad-words. The purpose of this research was to find how supervisors in the care of elderly experience their leadership in everyday work and their view on the factors which are important for their leadership. In the research a qualitative method has been used to do interviews with six supervisors and to do analysis of material. By the help of literature studies, I explained leadership. Result of the study indicate that leadership concerned supervisor should prepared to do the right thing in every situation and to find best solution of different situation that come up on the work. The way to do all this is important to create leadership.

Anafylaxi är en akut, oförutsedd, allergisk reaktion som kan uppkomma när som helst. Alla sjuksköterskor skall ha kunskap om anafylaxi, samt beredskap att ta hand om denna reaktion på ett korrekt sätt. I bakgrunden beskrivs den immunologiska mekanismen vid anafylaxi och allergi, symtom och behandling, samt det omvårdnadsvetenskapliga perspektivet. Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt var att identifiera och beskriva bidragande orsaker som ligger bakom osäkerheten kring anafylaxi och därmed ge en ökad kunskap om anafylaxi i sjuksköterskans professionella omhändertagande.
