Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka om ryssladsspecifik räntevolatilitet smittar av sig på de baltiska staterna. Efter den asiatiska krisen 1997 är contagion ett av det mest debatterade ämnena inom internationell finansiell ekonomi och definieras som kriser som smittar av mellan regioner. Metod: 1998 utförde Sebastian Edwards en studie baserat på en bivariat GARCH-modell där han undersökte om volatilitet i den korta räntan sprids från Mexico till Argentina och Chile. Jag följer Edwards (1998) metoder för att undersöka om Baltikums räntevolatilitet är påverkad av rysslandsspecifik volatilitetsspridning. Resultat: Med bristande tillgång till långa tidsserier för emerging markets kan jag inte påvisa någon volatilitetsspridning.

In the pilot plant at Hammarby Sjöstad, Sjöstadsverket, several new methods are tested in order to achieve a good use of resources. When a new technique is considered it is often the performance of the technique itself, under given conditions, that is evaluated. However, in order to evaluate the overall function the whole picture is needed. With a system analysis it becomes possible to make a comparison where all the positive aspects are put up against the negative ones, for the technique itself as well as its requirements. The purpose of this thesis is to develop a data acquisition module on stacked PC/104 modules with a lower production cost. Our work has been divided into one part about analog signal conditioning and a second part with digital filtering and memory management of the sampled data. The analog part, designed of regular components like instrument amplifiers, voltage references, operational amplifiers and multiplexers, adjusts the sensors signal levels for the ADC?s that converts the signals.

Det finns många faktorer och omständigheter runt en organisation som påverkar hur man väljer att utforma organisationen i fråga. Syftet med detta arbete är att finna faktorer som påverkar utformningen av ideella föreningars näringsverksamhet för att bidra till den teoretiska förståelsen av beslutsfattande inom ideella föreningar samt att ge ett kunskapsbidrag till beslutsfattare i mindre ideella föreningar som bedriver näringsverksamhet om relevanta faktorer att beakta. För att finna dessa används contingency-teorin, som den presenteras av Donaldson (2001), och de faktorer och omständigheter som söks kallas contingencies. Föreningarnas organisation delas in i två delar: (1) organisatorisk utformning samt (2) juridisk form och skattemässigt upplägg. Tre kristna församlingar har undersökts och enligt studien kan ideellt aktivas ekonomiska kunnande (där arbetsdelningen mellan ideella och anställda förändras) och näringsverksamhetens omfattning (där större omfattning påverkar avståndet mellan näringsverksamhet och huvudverksamhet) urskiljas som contingencies för den organisatoriska utformningen.

This study attempts to examine the existence and development of price differences in the car sector in Europe. The time period is between 1995, the year of the Swedish entrance in the European Union, and 2003. The study is based on data supplied by the European commission, on a bi-annual basis. Syfte: Denna studie syftar till att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar den ekonomiska ställningen hos internationella fotbollsklubbar med en omsättning på över 40 miljoner euro. Metod: Studiens metod utgörs av en empirisk dokumentstudie där årsredovisningar och andra finansiella rapporter granskas. Med hjälp av dessa rapporter upprättas sedan förädlingsvärdesanalys, kassaflödesanalys och Vöpels modell. Klubbarna delas i studien in i tre olika grupper baserat på ekonomisk ställning. Det är dessa grupperingar som sedan utgör grunden för hur klubbarna analyseras. Analysdelen är upplagd på det viset att den baserar sig på en analysmodell som innefattar ett antal olika faktorer som kan tänkas påverka klubbarnas ekonomiska ställning.

The dependency of continuous electricity supply is high in the Swedish society today, at the same time no one is willing to pay for a too costly or over dimensioned power distribution system. The owners of the distribution systems are the ones responsible for this balance act of maintaining a high quality of electricity delivery to customers at a reasonable cost.In this master thesis a limited part of the primary distribution system (10 kV), owned by Mälarenergi Elnät AB and located in the city centre of Västerås, was chosen for a deeper analysis of its reliability. Its ability to handle outages of system components (N-1 and N-2 contingency analysis) was investigated to find out potential weak spots and parts of the grid that showed signs of being overdimensioned.The results of the performed simulations showed that in 74 % of the studied N-1 contingencies cases, consisting of outages of a bus bar in a distribution substation, the system could handle this without causing outages in other parts of the grid. For the N-2 contingencies 61 % passed the test. It was also found that one of the two included high voltage substations could alone supply the investigated part of the grid.

Syftet med vår studie är att förstå hur fotbollsföreningar i Kalmar kommun arbetar med sin ekonomi. Vi vill förstå hur och på vilket sätt ekonomin är en förutsättning för ideella föreningars fortlevnad.Hur bedriver ideella fotbollsföreningar sin ekonomiska verksamhet för att fortleva?Vi har i studien intagit en kvalitativ forskningsmetod där primära källor utgjorts av intervjuer med sju personer, som sitter på positioner som gör att de har god insyn i fotbollsföreningars ekonomiska verksamhet. Arbetet har främst haft en induktiv ansats med inslag av deduktion, vilket resulterat i att arbetet präglats av en abduktiv karaktär.Ideella fotbollsföreningar måste vara medvetna om flera delar som berör den ekonomiska verksamheten för att fortleva. Fotbollsföreningarna med den mest stabila ekonomin bedriver ett antal aktiviteter för att finansiera sin verksamhet.

Det ingår två stycken elektriskabromsar i varje system. Om det tex blir fel på en av bromsarna och dennapåverkar ett av systemen vill man kunna koppla bort denna enskilda bromsmed sitt system. Man vill även kunna försörja den fungerande bromsen somsitter i samma system via en så kallad Axle Link. Denna strömmatningslänksitter mellan två hjulpar på samma axel.I denna studie undersöktes möjligheten att realisera en kortslutningsskyddadoch säker DC-överföring via en Axle Link, i första hand med diskretakomponenter.
