Det här examensarbetet har utförts på uppdrag av Malmfalten AB. Malmfalten AB har haft en idé om att utveckla en ny typ av ventilationssystem för tvärortar (produktionsortar) vid skivrasbrytning. Nuvarande ventilationssystem kräver att ventilationsdukarna tas ned från sin plats i orttaket inför skivrasborrning och därefter åter monteras upp. Syftet med detta arbete har varit att skapa ett förslag på en lösning som undviker detta och därmed ger upphov till ekonomiska vinningen och arbetsmiljömässiga fördelar. Följande metod har nyttjats för att framställa ett sådant förslag: intervjuer, observationer, funktionsanalys, kravspecifikation och PUGH:s beslutsmatris.

The regulation of this resistance appears to cause an increase in the voltagelevel into far too high levels.Investigations of the trams regulationequipment and its construction have been done. Further have measurements on the overheadline been performed in order to map the voltagevariations during a longer period of time.The result have been showing that the voltagelevel during regeneration often is as high as 880V-920V, more extreme values have not been observed in a large scale. The values are especially high compared to the nominal voltagelevel.

Bakgrund och problem: Efter att i flera år diskuterat behovet av företagsrekonstruktion lades det slutliga förslaget fram år 1992, se SOU1992:113, som ledde fram till ett införande av lagen om företagsrekonstruktion i svensk rätt år 1996. Bakgrunden till lagförslaget var att konkurs leder till kapitalförstöring och att företag som i grunden är livskraftiga men som genomgår en ekonomisk kris inte ska behöva gå i konkurs. Efter införandet av lagen har den kritiserats bland annat för att företag med likviditetsproblem ansöker om rekonstruktion för sent vilket ofta får konsekvensen att företaget går i konkurs. En annan anledning är att den sällan använts och att rekonstruktören inte har någon bestämmanderätt till skillnad från konkursförvaltaren som har auktoriteten att genomdriva det han/hon vill. I den rådande finanskrisen har rekonstruktion blivit vanligare.

According to modern theory, PR is seen as something that creates value for majority of products. The art market is a market that is characterized by several actors in different value chains, where transparency is low and art critics, or PR creators, have a certain amount of impact on the view of art, at least had so historically. But how does PR vs. art galleries´ own marketing (art brochure) affect the view and price consideration of art and artists for non-expert art spectators? After performing a large quantitative study, we can conclude that PR has negative to no affect on the view of art and the artist compared to the case when the spectator did not receive any information prior to viewing an art piece.

Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hypotesen om att aktieutdelningar innehåller någon information om framtida vinster. Metod: Undersökningen genomförs med hjälp av en regressionsanalys med årliga data på bland annat utdelningar och vinster för 46 svenska börsbolag mellan åren 1990-2006. Vinstförändringar är den beroende variabeln och utdelningsförändringar är en av de förklarande.

Denna uppsats syftar till att dels beskriva, dels med utvald ekonomisk teori analysera regleringen av den svenska formen av kasinoverksamhet. Av särskilt intresse är att diskutera orsaken till den svenska lagstiftningen som reglerar spelverksamhet samt lagstiftningens relevans för en spelverksamhet som är utsatt för utländsk konkurrens. För att besvara syftet har följande frågeställningar formulerats: - Hur kan regleringen av den svenska spelverksamheten förklaras utifrån ekonomisk teori? - Vad är motiven till den svenska lagstiftningen som reglerar spelverksamhet? - Hur är kasinoverksamheten i USA och Storbritannien utformad? - Hur kan en framtida reglering av spelmarknaden utformas? Regleringen av spelmarknaden kan dels förklaras utifrån välfärdsteori, dels utifrån politisk ekonomi i form av särintresseteorin. Välfärdsteorin förklarar regleringen av spelmarknaden genom att den dels kan ses som en marknad som ger upphov till negativa externa effekter i form av spelmissbruk, dels som ett naturligt monopol då det finns stordriftsfördelar i information och kontrollen av verksamheten.

This degree project is an investigation of solar cells and their ability to deliver electric power as well as reducing the need for cooling. The main object of interest is a BASE-X shelter. The shelter is purchased by the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, FMV to be used for command and camp in the new force called Nordic Battlegroup, NBG. The demand on the equipment is firstly that it should have a small weight to be easy to transport and handle and secondly to be easy to bring up fast. Therefore the choice of solar cell technology fell on thin film cells.

The RoHS Directive was introduced in order to restrict hazardous substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment, EEE. It currently restricts the use of six hazardous substances/compounds; cadmium, lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB, and PBDE. The RoHS Directive currently includes category 1-7 and 10 in the categories of EEE listed in Annex 1A to the WEEE-Directive (Waste of EEE). The aim with the report is to investigate and elucidate prospects and obstacles to increase the scope of RoHS. This report mainly considers the inclusion of product categories 8 (Medical Devices) and 9 (Monitoring and Control Instruments).

Trenden är att det ställs högre krav på börsnoterade bolag att redovisa mer omfattande extern bolagsinformation genom årsredovisningen. En del av informationen behandlar bolagens exponering och hantering av risker, ett område som fått större utrymme med åren eftersom riskredovisningen har stor betydelse för bolag som såväl användare. Syftet med studien är att skapa förståelse för hur börsnoterade bolag genom extern redovisning av risk kan eftersträva minskad informationsasymmetri och ökad legitimitet omkring en ekonomisk turbulent tidsperiod. För att adressera studiens syfte har en longitudinell flerfallsstudie i svenska börsnoterade skogs- och tillverkningsbolag genomförts mellan åren 2006-2012. Ett aktörssynsätt antogs där bolagens årsredovisning analyserades genom diskurs- och innehållsanalys.

The purpose with this essay is to enlighten the small business´ existence at times of expansion, identify threats and possibilities and also to try to find ways to encourage growth in the small business.To answer our purpose we carried out a literature study to later implement six interviews with small business leaders. We separated the companies into three categories; small business without employees, small business with 2-5 employees and small business with 6-10 employees.We confirm that the main reason why small business leaders think both once and twice before hireing new labour force are because of the high costs. The change in government has so far not given the small business what was promised, but there is still hope for improvement and simplification.The economic part of owning a company has been pointed out as the greatest threat in relation with expansion and the big responsibility in another persons possibilities to earn his/her living is also burdensome. The possibility to take on more work increases with the number of workers, which is positive..

We got in contact with Marco AB, who we?ve had contact with before concerning earlier projects, to find out if they were interested in arranging a larger project for our last class (Examensarbete 15hp). They were very positive to this proposition, and soon they offered us a project regarding reconstruction of their current mechanical device that absorbs all the force from the lift itself when it is at a predefined level (sv. sjunkspärr). The current solution does fulfill the requirements that are given, however it is not a solution that gives a high level of satisfactory.

Den här uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka hur företag kan arbeta med konceptet hållbar utveckling samt att analysera hur begreppet upplevs från ett företags perspektiv. Undersökningen baseras på en fallstudie som genomförts på företaget Kinnarps. Det empiriska material som analysen bygger på har samlats in via användning av fokusgrupps-intervjuer på Kinnarps, och materialet har analyserats vidare genom användning av metoden grundad teori. Under analysen har det synliggjorts vissa paralleller mellan materialet och ekologisk modernisering. Analysen tyder på att företag tenderar att agera i enlighet med ekologisk modernisering då teknisk utveckling ofta upplevs som lösningar på miljörelaterade problem.
