Beacon AB has been producing Gobos for some time. A Gobo is a small round sheet used in projectors almost like a slide. It is used mostly in the commercial and entertainment business. Today these Gobos are created by using a film (also called mask). A digital exposure machine called LIOS has been developed to make it possible to create Gobos using direct exposure.

The thesis aims to compare differentpiping materials in heating systems interms of cost as well as to illustratethe impact of energy characteristics ofdifferent materials over its servicelife. The report examines the factors which may be a contributing cause to the problems that are present when ferritic stainless steel are eddy current tested in a warm condition. The work is carried out at Fagersta Stainless AB in Fagersta which manufactures stainless steel wire. In the rolling mill there is an eddy current equipment for detection of surface defects on the wire. The ferritic stainless steels cause a noise when testing and this noise complicates the detection of defects.Because of this, a study was made of how the noise related to factors such as steel grade, temperature, size and velocity. By observing the signal and with the possibilities to change the equipment settings the capability to let a signal filter reduce the noise level were evaluated.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur manliga sjuksköterskor upplever sin relation med patienter och de tankar som har sitt ursprung i dessa kontakter. Intervjuer har genomförts med fem manliga sjuksköterskor på vårdavdelningar vid Universitetssjukhuset MAS i Malmö. Some public libraries offer their visitors writing activities, for example courses and camps. The public library is an institution with a particular identity, with special norms and properties which participants within the institution construct and reproduce. The main question of this thesis is to investigate how writing activities can be a part of the public library?s institutional identity and what functions writing activities in the public library can have.

Synen på ledarskap har under 1900-talet varierat mellan allt från att en ledare bör ha vissa fysiska egenskaper såsom rätt längd etc. till att idag vara inriktat på hur människor kan utvecklas till ledare genom rätt utbildning.Vi har därför genom sju stycken kvalitativa enkäter som skickats ut till ansvariga för ledarskapsutbildningar tagit reda på hur ansvariga för ledarskapsutbildningar idag ser på ledarskap och huruvida vem som helst kan bli ledare. Vi har också studerat vilka personliga egenskaper som är önskvärda hos ledare för att få oss en bild av hur synen på ledarskap ser ut idag. Vårt angreppssätt har varit induktivt då vi haft vår empiri som grund då vi hämtat relevant teori till vår studie.I teorikapitlet inleder vi med att beskriva ledarskap och dess omvärldsfaktorer och går sedan in på nya krav som ställs på dagens ledare. The population structure in the country means that in the not too distant future, there will be a sharp rise in demand for care and elderly accommodation.A tighter credit market as a consequence of new rules and regulations with a stricter capital and liquidity requirements combined with market turbulence, has made financing property developement more difficult and more expensive which has resulted in many companies using alternative sources of finance.DEmand for safe investments with low risk is high as the market is volatile and banks, pension funds, fund management and life insurance companies are looking for investments outside the stock market that can deliver a safe return in the longer term. There has also been a debate about whether institutional investors as the AP pension funds really should own properties directly.As properties for care and elderly accommodation are definable assets with predictable payment flows, long leases and often a local authority as tenant that would not risk cancelling payments, these would be highly appropriate for securitisation, i.e. to issue bonds or other tradable securities based on the cash flows from the assets.In other words, the securitisation of rent flows would offer the opportunity to create an attractive investment product of the type being demanded, well suited to institutional investor requirements, while at the same time, it can provide an attractive financing opportunity to meet the need for more care and elderly accommodation..
