AbstractThe purpose with this essay is to present a picture of the changes in religious education in Sweden, and to make comparisons between Denmark?s and the USA?s model about teaching in religion. I have consequently described the historical development, with the beginning of the establishement of the public school, inte the year of 1842. 1919, a new document about the religious education was released, wich result in some major changes. This was in a time were the debate about religion and the Lutheran State Church of Sweden authority was an issue.

The purpose of this study is to achieve a greater understanding of the perception of the use of Special Educational Needs Coordinators? (SENCOs?) competence in school. The informants of this study are the director of the school district, two principals and six teachers in two schools in a municipality in Sweden. The method used for this study is qualitative interviews, and the results have been analyzed using perspectives on special education. The results show that the director of the school district has one ideal view of SENCOs working close to the principals with supervision of teachers, school development, administrative tasks etc.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur tre förskollärare och tre fritidspedagoger beskriver att de använder sig av barnböcker i det vardagliga arbetet på förskola och fritidshem. Frågeställningarna är: Hur beskriver förskollärarna och fritidspedagogerna att de använder barnböcker i verksamheten? Vilken betydelse anser förskollärarna och fritidspedagogerna att barnböcker har för barnen?För att få svar på frågeställningarna användes kvalitativa och semistrukturerade intervjuer med tre förskollärare och tre fritidspedagoger som metod.Studien har ett sociokulturellt perspektiv som utgångspunkt och visar att förskollärarna och fri-tidspedagogerna är medvetna om barnbokens betydelse för barns språkutveckling och fantasi. Böckers innehåll avspeglas i barnens egen lek och ger dem nya infallsvinklar. Det framkommer genom intervjuerna att förskolan och fritidshemmen arbetar på olika sätt med högläsning och ak-tiviteter kring barnlitteratur.

This work studied the information flow and information handling among different parties. The study focused on how educational materials on national tests from The Swedish National Agency for Education is managed by school principals and teachers and how the information is passed on to students. The data material was based on observations and interviews at two different high schools. Six teachers and their classes and principals participated in the study. The Agency was also interviewed.

I denna uppsats har jag försökt utreda mytens roll för Euripides och Sven Delblanc.Genom att använda myten är fabeln given och man behöver inte själv finna en historia att berätta. Så använder både Euripides och Delblanc myten. Den blir ett strukturerande element för de idéer man vill föra fram. Det är alltså ett idédrama och en idéroman i mytens förklädnad.Euripides Ifigenia är ett drama om människan, Delblancs en roman om konsten. Båda författarna tillbakavisar mytens sannings­halt.

Alla barn har rätt att lyckas med sin läs- och skrivinlärning. Syftet med studien är att undersöka om tidig medveten träning ger många tidiga läsare och därmed undviker onödiga läs- och skrivsvårigheter. Den empiriska delen av uppsatsen har genomförts i två kommuner. Studien består dels av en kvantitativ enkätundersökning vars syfte var att spåra skolor med många tidiga läsare och dels av en kvalitativ intervjustudie, i syfte att undersöka bakomliggande faktorer till grupper med många tidiga läsare. Respondenterna består av åtta lärare verksamma i sex förskolegrupper i två kommuner i södra Sverige. Studien visar vad gäller de undersökta skolorna att metodisk träning ger bra resultat, men också att bakomliggande sociala faktorer har betydelse.

The purpose of this Bachelor thesis is to investigate which rolesthe mobile library has to its users in a small community in Sweden.To reach this purpose I have focused on the following two researchquestions:? Which are the different functions, social, cultural, educational orinformation-based, that the mobile library offers its users andwhich of these are used in reality?? What purposes are there for the mobile library and how it is usedby it?s visitors?To answer these questions I have interviewed four users of amobile library and I have held e-mail interviews with librarians incharge of a mobile library as well as the head of the department ofculture and peoples health in the community. As a base for myanalyse I have also used a pilot study which I performed earlier inthe spring of 2011.My theoretical framework is based on the model of the publiclibrary?s different roles made by Marianne Andersson and DorteSkot-Hansen.The result of this study show?s that a mobile library isn?t verydifferent from a permanently located public library. In order to be a good teacher according to preferences from outside the school area, there are many different voices to listen to. The different roles that are assigned for teachers are colliding with the latest research from the pedagogical institutions and therefore the role as a teacher of today is in a complex state of mind. Somewhere, between the traditional role of teaching and the moderating ideal image, reality is revealed in the ambivalent role of the teacher of today. In this pedagogical essay on advanced level we are focusing on obstacles that are hindering the moderating teacher?s role, to be fully developed in the classroom.

Our governing documents give teachers guidelines as to how to carry out their task in the classroom. To guide a learner requires knowledge, not only about the policy of our governing documents but also skills to see the connection between the teacher's task and its practical implementation. By studying learners' experiences of teaching contexts, I have been able to evaluate how the teaching methods live up to the intentions of the national governing documents in Sweden.My study is based partly on a survey that I completed and partly on the theory of Dialogicity. Here I saw clear connections between my informants' experiences of verbal exercises in the teaching and the theoretical background I have chosen for my study, Dialogicity. I have presented and analyzed the verbal exercises in four differentiated contexts.

Undersökningen handlar om en kommuns arbete med implementering av surfplattor i förskoleverksamheten samt pedagogernas upplevelse av den nya tekniken i förskolan. I studien belyses pedagogernas syn på surfplattan som ett pedagogiskt verktyg. I undersökningen användes kvalitativa intervjuer som metod. Valet föll sig naturligt då det är en primär metod för att få fram den information man söker. I resultatet visar det sig att kommunen inte hade någon plan på hur arbetet med surfplattor i förskolan skulle se ut.

The subject of religion in Swedish schools is the single most talked about topic in the curriculum. One explanation could be that it is the oldest subject in Swedish schools and the topic has undergone the biggest change through time. This process of change has been anything but undebated. The subject of religion within schools has met debates through almost its entire history, partly from the state and from the church, but also from the teachers and the students. Debates concerning the existence of Christianity in Swedish schools as well as the Swedish traditions constantly reoccur in today?s government debates and various media but in different versions.

I uppsatsen undersöks några deltagares berättelser om negativa dramaupplevelser. Syftet är att förstå hur dessa upplevelser sett ut och vad i dramasituationen som kan ha legat bakom dem. Analysen tar fasta på vilka faktorer som kan utgöra sårbara punkter ur ett deltagarperspektiv, i utövandet av en dramapedagogisk verksamhet.Metoden som använts är berättande intervjuer med nio informanter och den teoretiska ansatsen är hermeneutisk - fenomenologisk. Studiens utgångspunkt är Margret Lepps definition av dramaarbetets fyra centralmoment - Ett pedagogiskt ledarskap, En grupp i samspel, En fiktiv skapande handling samt Pedagogiska mål. I dramapedagogisk litteratur och tidigare forskning identifieras olika problem kopplade till dessa fyra moment.I analysen av intervjusvaren utkristalliseras fem olika teman vilka kan tolkas som möjliga sårbara punkter i en dramapedagogisk verksamhet: 1) Favoriserande och värderande ledare, 2) Brist på fiktion, 3) Förutsatt frigjordhet, 4) Kulturkrock, 5) KonsensustvångStudiens slutsats blir att dramaledarens förmåga till en problematiserande hållning inför mötet med verksamheten och dess deltagare kan vara avgörande för upplevelsen hos de senare.

In this essay I reflect on what makes a good preschool teacher today. I discuss the importance of education, the importance of experience and practical knowledge, but also the importance of capacity for self-reflection and listening. I bring up examples from my workplace, where some think more about their limitations than on what and how much they actually can. Others are more satisfied by what they can and see less of their limits. Some are also lack of the will to see differently and to do changes.

The purpose of the survey was to find out how early childhood teachers work with the curriculum of I Ur och Skur with children between 1-3 years in the forest and how such educators are using the outdoor pedagogy in the forest environment in preschool.In order to answer the study's aim and objectives interviews were performed with six teachers in I Ur och Skur kindergartens.What emerged from this study is that forest excursions are a central part of the curriculum and is seen as their educational place. The teachers are working to create a feeling of security among the youngest children of enjoying the woods and also to raise an interest in the children. Natural materials are used during the forest stay and no other toys or materials.The results reveal that educators work to get the smallest children to use and develop their imagination at play and at the same time they are involved with the children in their discovery of the woods. With the smallest children in kindergarten it involves being on the level of children and as a teacher to have the flexibility to change the forest stay environment if needed..

In 1911 Valfrid Palmgren founded the Children's Library of Stockholm, the very first in Sweden.She was a well-educated woman, who believed in social and educational equality for all.During a journey to the USA in 1907, she was deeply impressed by the public libraries, andshe put many of the public library ideas to use in the Children's Library of Stockholm.
