This study illustrates how drama methods and career counselling might interact. The aim is to investigate whether drama methods can enhance career counselling methods. Drama is here defined as an umbrella term that includes all forms of action methods used in psychology and education.A literature survey was carried out in parallel with qualitative research interviews. Three professional drama leaders were interviewed separately. This was followed by a group interview with five upper secondary school students, who had all taken a course in drama with a focus on personal development.The findings show that there are common and consistent goals and values between drama and career counselling.

Supervision has a strong impact on students` professional development. It is during clinical education that students will receive help in linking theory and practice. This study aimed to describe the meaning of good supervision among nursing students in clinical practice. A qualitative design was used. Nine nursing students in western Sweden, who had all experienced good supervision in clinical practice, were interviewed.The interviews were analyzed using a descriptive phenomenological methodology.The meaning of the phenomenon, good supervision in clinical education among nursing students, was shown as the students were gradually piloted to increased responsibility.

We live in a high tech era of electronic media, which is changing our lives (Giddens, 1999). Apps are examples of technologies that affect our lives. An interesting question in this context is what apps will have for significance; on one hand for the development of technology, and on other hand for humans? relation to technology. Since the development and change process are central issues in the science of education I will explore the development of applications.

I have taught pupils in several schools in eighth and ninth grade in ?weak? groups in mathematics. Most of them seemed to possess potential, but lacked motivation. Even though I tried several pedagogical methods, these approaches failed to engage the students. This prompted thoughts that this may reflect a broader structural problem about the organisation of education in Sweden.

The purpose of the study is to find out how some teachers in Kenya reason about children in need of special support. To undertake the study the following question are used:How do some teachers in Kenya reason about children in need of special support?The study has been made with qualitative interviews in Kenya. A total of four teachers at primary school level have been interviewed. The decision to do qualitative interviews is made by the opportunity to get as comprehensive answers as possible from the respondents' reason about children in need of special support.Three different kinds of special education perspectives have been used in this study.

Is culture accessible to all in Sweden or do challenges in accessibility begin in childhood? During the academic year of 2010/2011 the Schools for Music and Arts in Göteborg participated in a project entitled En kulturskola för alla (A School for Music and Arts for All). This thesis' objective is to describe the project as well as examine the method the Schools of Music and Arts use to include children with disabilities and what suggestions can be made to further develop the project. Through En kulturskolla för alla, approximately 200 children with disabilities now haave better teachers. The project included 18 music and arts teachers from eight schools.

Bees are of importance for the global food security. In Europe 84% and in the World 35% of all the agricultural crops are dependent of animal pollination (Winfree et al., 2011:1). In agricultural production there is a huge lack of pollinators (Azien & Harden, 2009). A problem that is widely spread. In Sweden the problem becomes clear when looking at the statistics of the number of bee colonies during the last 20 years, where it has been a decline with 63 % (Statistiska Centralbyrån & Jordbruksverket, 2011).

Denna studie syftar till att undersöka hur gymnasieelevers uppfattningar om hållbar utveckling formas och vilken betydelse faktorer som social klass, identitet och utbildning har för detta. Därigenom försöker studien bidra med kunskap om hur sociala strukturer som klass och identitetsprocesser påverkar elevers tillgängliggörande av hållbar utveckling som ett undervisningsinnehåll och därmed säga något om huruvida implementering av utbildning för hållbar utveckling, ESD (Education for Sustainable Development), som utbildningsprojekt riskerar att exkludera elever med arbetarklassbakgrund.Undersökningen genomfördes med kvalitativa intervjuer som metod och urvalet bestod av åtta elever från två olika skolor, en studieförberedande och en yrkesförberedande. Materialet analyserades utifrån Bourdieus teorier om kulturellt kapital, habitus och kulturell reproduktion.Resultaten av studien visar att det finns skillnader i hur elever med olika kulturellt kapital ser på hållbar utveckling, att social klass och identitet har stor betydelse för hur eleverna tillägnar sig hållbar utveckling som ett undervisningsinnehåll, samt att detta riskerar att exkludera grupper av lägre social klass som studerar på yrkesförberedande program från att lära sig om och bli engagerade i frågor om hållbar utveckling. Men studien visar också att skolan har stora möjligheter att påverka detta om implementeringen av ESD kan anpassas till en mer pluralistisk ansats som bättre tillgodoser alla elevgruppers unika behov och preferenser. Vidare framträder att styrningen av skolan har betydelse för vilken form av kulturell reproduktion som sker inom ESD.

Denna studie grundar sig på hur lärare tolkar hållbar utveckling i ämnet biologi. Syftet är att undersöka på vilka grunder lärarna väljer arbetssätt och ämnesinnehåll. Lärarna som intervjuas är verksamma i årskurs 4-6. Intervjuerna är semi-strukturerade vilket betyder att teman behandlas utifrån en given intervjuguide, frågorna ställs därför inte med någon förutbestämd ordning. De lärare som ingår i studien är behöriga i ämnet biologi och urvalsprocessen grundar sig i ett bekvämlighetsurval.

The underlying principle of this work is that visitors learn by actively processing information in their own minds and through experiences. The term lifelong learning is often associated with employability and adaptability.

How projects are managed can have a big impact on the project`s result. There are different types of frameworks on the market whose purpose is to help project leaders to pursue a successful project. Those frameworks focus on larger product development projects and both the literature and companies have addressed that the frameworks are too comprehensive for smaller product development projects. They have therefore asked for a framework that is more suitable for those smaller projects. The thesis is based on the development of an iPhone application.System Andersson has an application for Android that is being used for their MPS system (material and production control system). Their customers, however, have also showed interest in being able to use this application for iPhone.The students handle the subject of iOS developing, including the design of the application, the use of the development language Objective-C, the use of the scripting language of Json used for server connections and SQL.The primary goal with this thesis has been to improve the students knowledge in such subjects as application development for mobile platforms, in such areas as Xcode, which is the development platform that Apple uses and Objective-C, which is the development language being used. The result of this thesis is an almost fully functional iOS application, similar to the Android application with some functionality missing..
