Romers situation är ett aktuellt ämne som berör och upprör många människor. Syftet med vårstudie var att undersöka hur romers situation ser ut. I studien valde vi att utgå ifrån romersegna upplevelser och erfarenheter. Våra frågeställningar var hur romer upplever sin situationsom rom, hur de har blivit bemötta av olika myndigheter och om de upplever att deras romskatradition påverkar deras förutsättningar i livet. Respondenterna i vår undersökning var romer iGöteborg, några av dem arbetade för romers rättigheter och några av dem var allmännamedborgare.

The purpose of this essay has been to find out how adolescents from Södermöre in the municipality of Kalmar experience the central place Kalmar. It has also been the intention to make clear, whether the relation between the adolescents and the central place Kalmar could be described as a centre-periphery-relation. The basis of this essay has been interviews of all together nine adolescents.A centre-periphery-situation can according to the theory be discovered by analyzing three categories: culture, economy and politics. If the centre dominates the periphery in one of these three categories, a centre-periphery-situation exists. The theory also says that the people living in the periphery experience less kinship with the people living in the centre.The adolescents from Södermöre showed to experience the central place Kalmar in a way, that can be described in five categories: travelling mostly by bus, unfair distribution of the resources of the municipality, political equality, social equality and the awareness of the central place Kalmar as the place ?where everything is located?.When it came to economy and politics, no indications of a centre-periphery-situation were found during the interviews with the adolescents.

This report is written in cooperation with the Swedish National Road Administration South-Eastern Region in Jönköping. The report is a result of the evaluation to give an answer to the question about how well the function contract has been carried out on the E4 in Östergötlands and Jönköpings län. The evaluation is divided in two hard parameters and one soft.The Swedish National Road Administration is interested in knowing how the standard on the road have been changed during the functions period, which is the reason why the first hard parameter is considering road standard. To evaluate the standard there have been a comparison of values from measures taken every year on the current road stretch. The second hard parameter considers economy.

Following is a study of fathers 'experiences of balance between work and home life. The method the researchers used was based on qualitative interviews aimed at describing father?s own experiences and values, which affects them. The researchers chose to specifically study situations where the fathers were faced with situations where their children needed to be cared for in the home because of a cold or similar illness since this is a situation that directly affects the time that was meant for work, but now risk being moved to areas of life that the researchers define as home life. This is to see whether the respondents felt that this situation affected the balance between work- and home life.

This thesis aims to examine the viability of various techniques for increased electricity generation in CHP plants and the effect of electricity price fluctuations on the profitability.The techniques examined are fuel dryer, pellet production, methane production, combined methane- and pellet production, seasonal heating storages in caverns and pit heat storages and condensing tail. Using Excel and Matlab, the prerequisites for investment costs, revenues and expenses were calculated.What affects the price of electricity is a combination of economic and technological development, energy prices, economic structure, population changes and weather. Different scenarios for the electricity price were therefore examined. In the base case, the electricity price was given by the Nord Pool electricity price statistics of area three in 2011. Thereafter, WiMo was used to design the electricity scenarios for 2030, which was then applied to the data to obtain the viability of various scenarios. The techniques examined were found to give greater profits to the CHP plant by increasing and optimizing the production of electricity.

The question at issue is: What problems and what subjects for rejoicing does she raise? My aim is to try to understand the women?s situation, as well as how Elin Wägner describes the situation in her four novels from the 1920?s: Den namnlösa (1922), Silverforsen (1924), Natten till söndag (1926) och Svalorna flyga högt (1929). At the same time I intend to compare the woman of the 1920?s to the situation of women today.I am writing from a feministic literary theory called ?omläsning? according to the description of Gunilla Domellöf.

Dess avgörande egenskaper och svåra hantering gör att kraven på välfungerande institutioner är stora, men gör också den ekonomiska analysen mer komplicerad. Traditionella, ekonomiska lösningar på externaliteter och effektivitetsproblem går inte alltid att ena med de rättvise- och moralaspekter som uppkommer när det handlar om ett mänskligt basbehov. Den här uppsatsen redogör för den institutionella problematik som uppkommer vid vattenhantering i urbana områden. För att sätta problematiken i ett verkligt sammanhang, används Mexiko City som fallstudie och därefter undersöks huruvida den mexikanska staten kan anses ha lyckats med stadens vattenhantering eller inte.

BACKGROUND: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a slow progressive disease affecting the family caregivers by limiting their lifestyle. Subsequently the situation can be experienced as stressful for both the afflicted and the relatives. To easier understand the needs of the caregivers of family members suffering from COPD have, it is important to get an insight into their experience of every-day life, so that medical staff can help, support and promote their health according to their needs. AIM: To illustrate caregivers? experiences of living with a family member suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

The aim of this study is to describe the variation in two teachers perceptions of their work with individual developments. The study begins with a review of the Swedish National Agency for Education?s guidelines for working with individual developments. With this I want to give the reader an insight into the teachers working conditions and the responsibilities the school authorities have against their students. Using phenomenography, I have examined the differences between two mathematic teacher?s perceptions in working with individual developments for student?s in need of special education.   My questions are: How do mathemathic teachers perceive their work with individual developments? What support and what information do the teacher?s feel that they have been given in order to use individual developments as a tool? How do the teachers perceive that their work situation has influenced their work with individual developments? The two teachers I have interviewed showed different perceptions both in how they understood the guidelines for working with individual developments and how they chose to work with them.

Bakgrund: Om VaR kan estimeras väl med hjälp av ES-metodik, kan man få bukt med VaR-måttets brist på sudadditivitet (vilken innebär dels praktiska problem vid utformning av finansiella organisationers limitstrukturer, dels teoretiska problem i enlighet med Artzner et al (1997, 1999)) samtidigt som man uppfyller det formella kravet på att rapportera sitt VaR på 99 %:snivån. Syfte: Att undersöka hur väl ES ? estimerat på olika konfidensnivåer och med olika metoder ? duger till att skatta en banks 99 %:s-VaR. Metod: Två ES-metoders och sex VaR-metoders förmåga ? både avseende frekvens (Kupiec-test) och oberoende (eget längsta-följd-test) ? att skatta 99 %:s-VaR utvärderas och jämförs.

En automatiserad beställningsprocess resulterar i olika effekter för detaljisten och beror till stor del på vilken grad av automatisering som uppnåtts och den rådande situationen. Automatiseringen ställer höga krav på ett korrekt lagersaldo, där återförsäljaren har svårigheter med svinn, stölder och egen förbrukning, som inte registreras. Dessa svårigheter tror vi i stor grad påverkar effekterna i automatiseringen. Teorierna har oftast en optimal situation som grund i sina beskrivningar av effekterna, men vi tror att dessa effekter är olika påtagliga beroende på graden av automatisering och rådande situation..

Bröstcancer är en vanlig cancerform i Sverige idag. Vid en operation där en borttagning av en brösttumör är nödvändig kan en kvinna tvingas ta bort ett bröst eller i sällsynta fall båda. Varje förändring i kroppen medför en förändring av människors tillgång till livet. En kvinna som tvingas genomgå en bröstoperation kan ha mycket att anpassa sig till i sin förändrade situation, kroppsligt, emotionellt och socialt. Syftet med studien var att belysa bröstcancerdrabbade kvinnors anpassning till sin livssituation efter att ha tagit bort ett eller båda brösten.Åtta vetenskapliga artiklar har använts till studien.

Forskning har visat vilken betydelse den pedagogiska måltiden har för barns lärande i den pedagogiska verksamheten. Syftet med föreliggande uppsats var att beskriva förskollärares erfarenheter av den pedagogiska måltiden i förskolan. I studien medverkade fyra förskollärare från fyra olika förskolor. Intervjuer användes för att uppnå syftet och resultatet blev att samtliga förskollärare såg den pedagogiska måltiden som en viktig lärande situation för barnen. Studien visade även att samtliga fyra förskollärare hade liknande mål med den pedagogiska måltiden, som att t.ex.

Detta arbete handlar om hur man som lärare kan agera i en situation där en elev har förlorat en förälder eller då läraren har förlorat en kollega. Undersökningen bygger på en litteraturstudie och intervjuer med fyra lärare som har varit med om dödsfall i skolan. Lärarna i intervjuerna har berättat om sina egna erfarenheter, hur de har känt, tänkt och gått tillväga. Genom att ta reda på hur elever i olika åldrar reagerar på döden får man en viss beredskap för hur man som lärare kan bemöta dem. Litteraturgenomgången och intervjuerna ger bra exempel på hur man kan eller bör agera i en sorgesituation.
