Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka den svenska regleringen på spelmarknaden inom Sveriges gränser. Dels vilket motiv som ligger bakom regleringen och vad det har fått för effekter på marknaden och samhället. Detta jämförs med om man skulle ha haft en helt oreglerad marknad med hjälp av grundläggande nationalekonomisk mikroekonomisk teori. Uppsatsens slutsatser är att regleringen motiveras främst av sociala skäl från statligt håll p g a av problemet med externa effekter, asymmetrisk information (konsumentsäkerhet) och ur omfördelningssynpunkt. Ett oreglerat tillstånd av marknaden har ett osäkert utfall vad gäller de externa effekterna men de skulle säkerligen öka.

For the past decades, culture has been given a role as a factor for local and regional development. But what is meant by development and in what ways culture can be of importance in this aspect can be unclear. This thesis examines the perception of the role for local and regional development of one specific cultural place and network ? the cultural cooperative Not Quite in Fengersfors, Sweden. I study the way the role as developer is expressed and interpreted in the discourse of the cultural workers who are members of the network and in the discourse of public cultural policy in the region Västra Götaland and in Åmål municipality.

Vikten läggs på att med Value at Risk ta reda på ett möjligt sämsta utfall som är ett resultat av placering i olika risknivåer. Metod: Vi har för var och en av de tre utvalda bankerna utfört en simulering baserad utifrånderas rekommendationer. Hänsyn har tagits till individers olika riskbenägenhet samt en begränsad tidshorisont.

The aim of this master's thesis is to examine whether librarians working in public libraries see fiction as a source of knowledge, and what role this plays in the educational mission of the public library. This investigation, which consists of a literary study and an empirical section, shows that the concept of phronesis denotes practical wisdom and moral thinking, and that it can be applied to that form of knowledge to which reading can contribute. An important issue in this context is the reader's motivation to learn. The interviews show that librarians see literature as a source from which knowledge can be drawn. When they mediate literature, they believe that they are conveying something of value and they set great store in mediating literature which could have a not inconsiderable import to the borrowers.

During the last decades, brand equity has been a priority topic for both practitioners and academics. In accordance with the structural changes in the economic settings caused by the so-called "new economy", corporations being confronted with a shift on perceived business value structure from tangible assets to intangibles. On the other hand firms increasingly are adopting more responsible behaviour towards their societies. In this context, one critical question is to understand how corporate conduct may affect brand equity. The purpose of this study was to find how brand equity (BE) measurement methods embrace corporate responsibility (CR), based on a literature review.

Det är också att se vad aktieprisbeteendet på ex-dagen kan säga om utvecklingen av marknadens effektivitet.Frågeställning: Går det att finna en signifikant skillnad mellan prisfallet på ex-dagen och storleken på utdelningen efter justering för indexrörelser? Vad kan man utifrån aktieprisets beteende på ex-dagen säga om utvecklingen av marknadens effektivitet?Tillvägagångssätt: Vi har använt oss av en kvantitativ datainsamling och gjort hypotesprövningar för att kunna dra slutsatser. Materialet är hämtat från databaserna Datastream och Ecowin.Slutsatser: Det går att för vissa år finna en signifikant skillnad mellan aktieprisfallet och utdelningens storlek. Av de tolv år vi undersökt har det visat sig att det för fem år kan sägas att prisfallet varit signifikant lägre än utdelningsbeloppet.

SYFTE: Huvudsyftet med denna studie är att undersöka om det är möjligt att utnyttja marknadens osäkerhet inför kvartalsrapporter. METOD: Metodmässigt bygger vår studie på sekundärdata, med fokus på Ericssons historiska slutkurser på aktier och optioner. Vi har prognostiserat den implicita volatiliteten inför kvartalsrapporter för att sedan utforma lämpliga deltaneutrala optionsstrategier som vi testar på nästkommande år. TEORI: Vi utgår från tidigare studier om att den implicita volatiliteten stiger inför kvartalsrapporter vilket vi vill testa. Dessutom testas teorin om svag marknadseffektivitet.

Sammanfattning Hur utvecklas kursen vid en nyintroduktion i jämförelse med Affärsvärldens generalindex (AFGX)? Uppsatsen redovisar utvecklingen för 57 aktier vid introduktionsdagen, efter en dag, en vecka en månad, tre månader och ett år. Slutsatsen är att det finns skillnader, de är signifikanta efter en dag och efter ett år. Efter en dag har kursen i genomsnitt gått ner ett antal procentenheter och för AFGX var motsvarande genomsnitt svagt positivt. Efter ett år är skillnaden mycket stor med 94 % i avkastning för nyintroducerade aktier och 13,1 % i avkastning för AFGX.

The purpose of this essay has been to investigate the research and national initiatives regarding film and Cineliteracy in the Swedish curriculum.The results show that, after all research, national initiatives and the continual clarification from the Swedish National Agency for Education concerning film's place in the Swedish subject, the vision of students cineliteracy not at all obtain an obvious place in the curriculum.The research points out the main causes behind this result to be teachers' lack of expertise and the fact that the formal education for future teachers in the subject still upholds traditional views on the subject of Swedish.The initiative presented in this essay also show lack of continuity, lack of adequate professional development opportunities for teachers and lack of practical guidance manuals to help teachers to develop and educate their pupils in line with current research and visions. .

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka storbankernas etiska fonder. Samtliga fonder jämfördes med varandra och med marknaden för att undersöka hur dessa har presterat i avseende på risk och avkastning. Uppsatsen syftar även till att vägleda bland storbankernas etiska fonder, d.v.s. kunna erbjuda läsaren en bild av vilka fonder som kan vara intressanta ur ett placeringsperspektiv. Studien är av kvantitativ karaktär och utfördes med hjälp av fonddata inhämtad från respektive storbank.

The history of books and libraries in the Philippines starts after the arrival of the Spaniards in 1521. During the Spanish era, most of the libraries were established through the religious orders to support their own religious mission. The Americans came in the beginning of the 20th century and have had a decisive influence on the education system and the development of libraries in the Philippines. For the analysis, I have used the models of Michael H. Harris and Magnus Torstensson in their studies of library development.

Since the introduction of the European citizenship in the Maastricht treaty, social rights havetaken a back seat to the economic and political elements. Nevertheless, over the past yearssocial issues have been increasingly included on the agenda following the universalrecognition of challenges resulting from further economic integration and demographicchange. The extensive research on European social policy so far tend to focus on initiativesput forward by the European Commission, and offers little to explain the multitude of lines ofreasoning on how far EU social policy should be taken or why it still remains one of the leastdeveloped policy areas. By examining plenary debates in the European Parliament concerningfamily policy, this Bachelor thesis aims to describe the complex of problems connected to afurther development of the social dimension of the European citizenship.The analysis finds that the most imminent problems impeding an expansion of the EU familypolicy lie not only in the many clashes of opinions between advocates of the various existingwelfare models, but also in the conflicts of interests and the different levels of ambitionbetween EU institutions - most notably the Commission and the European Parliament..

The purpose of this Master?s thesis studies is to examine how information seeking is taught from a pedagogical and didactic perspective. The questions at issue are:? What is the content in information seeking education?? What aims are focused in information seeking education?? What methods are used in information seeking education? The methods being used are empirical studies and studies of literature, within the subject area. The study is inspired by phenomenographical learning theories.

The aim of the study is to investigate how a teacher and a special education teacher cooperate to prevent a pupil with reading difficulties from ending up in the vicious circle of the Matthew effect, and to find out how a pupil with reading difficulties experiences his or her reading situation. This case study is based on a phenomenological perspective whereby qualitative interviews illuminate a commonly occurring problem in today?s schools. Interviews were conducted with a teacher, a special education teacher, and a pupil in grade 1, in order to cover everyone?s perspective in this situation.

The purpose of this study is to present arguments concerning a zestful learning for children ages 6-9 in mathematics. Four books in mathematics has specifically been analyzed to investigate what is written concerning a zestful learning. By means of an argumentation analysis within a qualitative text analysis the arguments are put forth. The didactic choices of the chosen literature are analyzed in a subject-matter didactic context. The result implicates a multitude of arguments and didactic choices supporting a zestful learning.
