Nattarbete medför risk för utveckling av hjärt- och kärlsjukdom, mag-tarmsjukdom och sömnsvårigheter. Det finns en ökad risk för olycksfall under arbete nattetid och det kan medföra psykosociala konsekvenser. Enligt Arbetsmiljöverkets författningssamling skall periodisk läkarundersökning erbjudas innan nattarbete påbörjas och sedan med sex års mellanrum med följande undantag, med tre års mellanrum när arbetstagaren fyllt 50 årUnder år 2004 kontrollerades 68 personer, som arbetade natt i Hallands landsting, på Landstingshälsan i Varberg. Syftet med att sammanställa undersökningsresultaten var att få en uppfattning av hälsotillståndet i gruppen samt undersöka om det fanns samband mellan för högt BMI och hypertoni respektive hypercholesterolemi, om rökare hade fler kroppsliga symptom/besvär än icke-rökare samt om sömnproblem ökade med åldern.Undersökningen genomfördes enligt gällande rutiner med blodprovstagning, frågeformulär samt undersökning av företagsläkare och företagssköterska.Gruppen bestod av 61 kvinnor och sju män med varierande utbildning och med olika arbetsplatser. 65 personer hade vårdarbete, tre personer arbetade inte med vård.Gruppens medelålder var 45,5 år.

Detta examensarbete jämför två övervakningsverktyg för servrar i ett nätverk, Zabbix och op5 Monitor. Båda är open source och används aktivt av organisationer för att övervaka organisationsservrarnas processorlast, I/O-kö på hårddiskarna, status på tjänster och mycket mer. Dessa två övervakningsverktyg testas och jämförs med varandra ur perspektiven användarvänlighet, funktionalitet och prestanda. Resultaten visar att i de flesta fallen är Zabbix mer användarvänligt medan op5 Monitor i de flesta fallen har bättre funktionalitet. Det visar sig också att op5 Monitor har något högre prestanda än inte bara Zabbix utan även de övervakningssystem som testades av Robin Rudeklint år 2010..

North of the city of Stockholm lies the area called Södra Roslagen composed of several municipalities. The purpose of this essay is to discover how local informants describe the food culture of the region and analyse why some types of food are mentioned and others are excluded. Several people within the food industry of Södra Roslagen were given surveys asking them to describe the food habits of the area, from commodities and certain dishes to traditions. These answers were analysed using the theories regional food, regiocentrism, revitalisation, placeless food and the idea of viewing culture through the long and the short perspective.One informant mentioned that professionals in the food industry of the region tend to follow trends from the rest of the world and another that many producers work with ecological requirements. Södra Roslagen was also defined by some as having a taste of summer as this coastal area sees an influx of visitors during that season.

This final project discusses renewal and upgrading of the area of Prim. It is discussed how this industrial area can be an attractive neighborhood with a varied range of services and commercial trade. Prim is located 2km north-east of the center of Barcelona. The area boarders to a deep railway valley that historically has separated Prim from its neighboring districts. At present there is almost no housing, services or commercial trade within the area and the industry is discontinued or the existing industrial buildings are derelict.

This basic data of knowledge for a future maintenance programme concerning the park at Kungsholmen is made up of 3 separate parts. 1.) A historical documentation 2.) A mapping and documentation of the objects status of today. 3.) An analytical evaluation complemented by a maintenanceproposal for the historic park. Uppsatsens respondenter motsvarar cirka58 % av dessa.47 stycken sjukhuskuratorer har via en enkät besvarat frågor gällande sinaupplevelser av sin yrkesidentitet, yrkesroll samt status i en naturvetenskaplig kontext.Sjukhuskuratorerna stöter inte sällan på utmaningar där ett tydliggörande av yrkesrolloch yrkesidentitet blir nödvändiga grundstenar för ett varaktigt och funktionelltarbetsklimat. Yrkesrollers avgränsning och inramning skapar förutsättningar, ger frihetmen exkluderar och inkluderar likaså. Att befinna sig i en kontext där man stundom kankänna sig som en främmande fågel bland de som har mer självklara roller i detprofessionella samspelet kan yttra sig och få som konsekvens att en otydlighet iyrkesrollen tar sin plats. Då man inte kommer från samma vetenskapligt vedertagnautbildningsbakgrund ger detta olik förförståelse och syn på den värld man arbetar i.Frågeställningar runt sjukhuskuratorns tydlighet, organisation, personligtengagemang, det akademiska spåret och legitimation diskuteras.

This Bachelor's thesis in Environmental Science studies the quality of an index of performance measurement of Swedish municipalities' sustainability governance offered by the environmental magazine Miljöaktuellt. Executed for six consecutive years, this evaluation is arguably the most comprehensive and widely spread local sustainability assessment in Sweden. Contextualizing this quantitative measurement tool in the paradigm of New Public Management, the research questions posed are: 'to what extent does the index employed by Miljöaktuellt correspond to the requirements of a set of quality criteria for sustainability assessment?' and 'is the index appropriate as a measure of, or a goal for, Swedish municipalities' internal sustainability efforts?' Through the perspective of evaluation theory, Miljöaktuellt's index is seen as a performance evaluation, thus categorizing this study as a meta-evaluation. Through a qualitative thematic approach, the index is analyzed using the 8 BellagioSTAMP-principles that were developed as tools for assessing quality of sustainability assessments as themes for the analysis.

The librarian profession is dominated by women. The aim with this essay is to find out howmen and women in this field get on together, and how they experience their psycho·social work situation bearing this in mind. Are there any advantages or disadvantages being a woman or a man in this profession? What do the librarians think about the future? Men and women working at five different public libraries, where the domination of women is greatest, have been interviewed. The essay is based on their opinions and experiences.The female and male librarian get on well with each other and have a good cooperation.There are not many advantages or disadvantages depending on the sex in the profession, but the image, status and salary would probably be better, if there were more men in the profession.

Private individuals can voluntarily buy EU Allowances (EUA) in order to remove them from the European Union Greenhouse Gas Emission Trading System (EU ETS). It leads to progressive reduction of total carbon dioxide emissions in Europe. Kalmar Energi offers customers to obtain one EUA (equivalent to one ton of CO2) per year by paying 25 SEK a month as a KlimatEl-supplement. The purpose of this research is to examine the customers? attitudes in the issue of climate compensation and trying to define the reasons behind their choices.The results of the quantitative questionnaire were analyzed by using descriptive and analytical statistical methods and have shown some correlation between customers? ages and decisions to accept or not the offer of KlimatEl.

The purpose with this thesis is to investigate how Swedish clothing companies create and communicate a personality for their brand. Case studies were conducted with three companies: Nudie Jeans, Koppartrans and J.Lindeberg. These firms can be considered as established clothing brands nationally as well as internationally. The study found that individualism, logotype and moral standpoints play an important role in the creation and the communication of a brand?s personality.

An increasing global population and a worldwide growing urbanization has raised the questionabout the future food security in cities all over the world. Peak-oil limits the access to cheap fossilfuels which threatens the global food-supply chain. This has resulted in a larger awareness anddiscussion related to urban agriculture. Growing crops and keeping animals within the city-borderscould be one way of creating a more robust and sustainable food supply for city dwellers. However,to enable an expansion of the urban agriculture many theorists argue that policies and institutionalstructures that supports and promotes city farming have to be developed.

Sale and acquisition of a business is risky, since vague legislation and lack of literature often contribute to the fact that it is not possible for the parties to know beforehand how a dispute about the agreement shall be resolved. The objective of this thesis is to clarify what should be applied in terms of liability and the allocation of risks between the parties, in order to help avoid disputes about the agreement. In order to fulfill the purpose of the thesis, the legal status of the agreement has been investigated, as well as the question whether the sale of goods act should be applied, even though the sales agreement between the parties should be the primary regulation. Furthermore, another question that has been investigated is whether the buyer?s duty to investigate, and the seller?s duty to inform, affects the allocation of risks between the parties, and thereby also their liability..

The purpose of this study is to investigate how power is distributed in the mathematics classroom and how students achieve agency when ICT (Information and communication technology) is used as a teaching tool. Three learning situations, structured by mathematics, are analysed: in the first situation mathematics is taught in a traditional way, in the second mathematics is taught in interdisciplinary projects, and in the third mathematics is taught using ICT as a pedagogical tool. The theoretical concepts of power and agency are used as analytical tools within a socio-political framework. The concept of power is used to assess the students? ability to influence their learning and degree of inclusion in the three learning situations.

Natten mellan den 5 och 6 oktober 2007 misshandlas Riccardo Campogiani så allvarligt i Stockholm att han senare avlider. Detta fall kom att få en enormt stor massmedial uppmärksamhet.
