Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur skolans pedagoger arbetar för att främja elevernas bildspråkliga medvetenhet, det vill säga om pedagogerna anser sig arbeta medvetet för att utveckla elevernas förmåga att analysera och få förståelse för sina egna och andras bildskapande. Skolans pedagoger använder ofta bilden som ett sätt för eleven att uttrycka sin kreativitet men inte för att synliggöra förståelse för det ofta förekommande temaarbetet. Därför kommer undersökningen också att undersöka om pedagogerna medvetet utnyttjar bildens möjligheter i det tematiska arbetet för synliggöra elevernas kunskap om det pågående temat. Den forskningsbakgrund som uppsatsen tar upp belyser bildämnets status, dess kommunikativa roll och styrdokumenten kontra lärarnas prioriteringar samt bemötande av elevernas bilder. Teoridelen innehåller även en redogörelse för vad bildspråklig medvetenhet är, vad bildanalys/bildtolkning innebär och därefter följer en kort historik om hur bildämnet utvecklats.

The aim of this master thesis is to examine the identity of librarians. We have done this by conducting a text analysis where we have analysed texts produced by DIK, the major union of librarians, and by Library and Information Science departments in Sweden. The material we have analysed is texts produced in the aim of introducing and marketing the librarian occupation and education. The aim of this study is to find out how the identity of the librarian is expressed in this material. We have conducted the text analysis by adopting the critical discourse analyst Norman Fairclough´s theories.

Syfte: Att beskriva vilka faktorer som bidrar till psykisk ohälsa bland ungdomar i Sverige.Metod: Litteraturstudie med en deskriptiv design. Studien är baserad på 14 vetenskapliga artiklar sökt i databaserna "PubMed" och "Cinahl".Resultat: Det visade sig i resultatet att skilda föräldrar är en stor bidragande faktor till ungdomars psykiska ohälsa. Ungdomar som lever med skilda föräldrar har en större risk att drabbas av depression, ångest och att börja utöva negativa beteenden som rökning, dricka alkohol och tidig sexdebut. Andra faktorer som bidrar till psykisk ohälsa var fetma hos ungdomar och låg socioekonomisk status hos föräldrar.Slutsats: Resultatet i föreliggande studie visade att ungdomar som lever med skilda föräldrar är en stark bidragande faktor till ungdomars psykiska ohälsa. Även fetma hos ungdomarna och dålig socioekonomisk status hos föräldrar kan leda till psykisk ohälsa hos ungdomar.

Beröring hör till människans basala behov och skapar emotionellt och fysiskt välbefinnande. Intresset för detta ämne väcktes under våra verksamhetsförlagda utbildningar. Upplevelsen av beröring är unik och olika för alla människor. I bakgrunden tas begreppet ?beröring? upp samt ?kroppen och beröring?, ?beröring i omvårdnaden? och ?beröring i omvårdnadsrelationen? utifrån relevant litteratur.

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva och analysera organisationskulturen, det vill säga grundläggande antaganden, normer och värderingar, inom den kommunala hemtjänsten ur hemtjänstpersonalens perspektiv.Frågeställningar:1. Hur ser hemtjänstpersonal på sina arbetsuppgifter?2. Hur upplever personalen sin yrkesroll?3. Hur ser de på samarbetet med andra yrkesgrupper?Metod: En fokusgruppsdiskussion och fem observationer har gjorts och analyserats kvalitativt med meningskoncentrering som analysmetod.Resultat: Det insamlade materialet gav oss olika teman som vi har placerat under de tre frågeställningarna. Under fokusgruppsdiskussionen delgav personalen oss sina tankar och värderingar kring livskvalitet, att ge praktisk och social omsorg, den egna synen på sitt arbete och på chefen, genus, status och samarbete med andra yrkesgrupper. Vår empiri har analyserats med hjälp av två huvudteorier såsom teori om organisationskultur samt symbolisk interaktionism. Det teoretiska begreppet social omsorg har hjälpt oss att förstå omsorgsarbetet.

Biological diversity is one out of four dimensions, characterizing the subject of Biology ac-cording to the school curriculum. As a concept, biological diversity had its break through at the UN environmental conference in Rio de Janeiro in 1992, where the convention about bio-logical diversity, named CBD, was signed. According to the convention, almost all the na-tions of the world have engaged themselves to preserve the national diversity of species, in-cluding the diversity of genetics and ecological systems.This thesis focuses the biological diversity from the perspective of school books. The aim is to find out how the biological diversity is presented in biology books for students aged 12-15 years.In 1994, the current Swedish secondary and high school curriculum called LPO-94 was pre-sented. The biology books used in this study were published between 1994 and 2007, all of them exist in many editions and are published by three different publishers.The conclusion of the study is that all the biology books that were examined have reached different levels of the development in the field of biological diversity..

The intention with the study is to describe the home and life conditions for boys at the age range between 13 to 18 year, who has been under custody according to the § 2 LVU.The empiric is 21 real court cases, judged in Stockholm and to Stockholm counted surround-ings 2006, in which the range of the boys were representative.A text analyze method is used to execute the study. The study penetrates the life situation of the caregiver and how their situation affects the boy and the boys actions.The total conclusion of the study, based on an ecological evolution perspective, is that life-situation of the caregiver affects the boys and the boys actions.The boys are affected negatively by the situation of their caregivers, and according to the study, the boys have established own problems, like difficulties in school, criminality, or other psychological diagnoses. They are also often exposed to physical or psychological violence by the caregiver. Additionally the conclusion is that the caregiver neglect the boys in many other ways, prior themselves and their needs before the boys..

Studiens övergripande syfte är att bidra med kunskap om huruvida specifikt inriktad högskoleutbildning mot fritidshem hos personalen respektive avsaknaden av densamma har någon betydelse för verksamheten och hur det påverkar personalens arbete i fritidshemmet ur såväl fritidspedagogers som rektorers perspektiv. Studien har genomförts genom en kvalitativundersökning där sex fritidspedagoger och fyra rektorer intervjuats. Resultaten av studien har analyserats med hjälp av Colnerud och Granströms (2013) professionsteoretiska begrepp: auktoritet, yrkesmässig autonomi, systematisk teori och egen kontrollerad yrkesetisk. Några resultat som redovisas i studien är hur fritidspedagogers utbildning bidrar med en kunskapsbas med verktyg och modeller för ett legitimt arbete i fritidshemmet. Något som också påvisas är hur fritidspedagoger har svårt att stänga ute obehörig personal trots att det framkommer hur outbildad personal bidrar till lägre kvalité i verksamheten och yrkets tillsynes låga status.

Rooted in Industrial Ecology (IE) theory, this report evaluates how urban agricultural concepts and techniques, can contribute to improved ecological sustainability within the inner city boundaries of Stockholm. An overarching literary study as well as an interview was carried out, resulting in a qualitative analysis followed by suggestions for practical implementations. A substantial convergence was found between the eco-restructuring objectives of IE and the principal motives for urban agriculture. Consequently, eco-restructuring objectives are found in varying degrees in the presented urban agricultural techniques. Industrial symbioses, permaculture and combinations of urban agricultural techniques are tools which are capable of corresponding adequately to the diversity of urban settings.

During the 20th century a significant proportion (about 15 %) of the peat-covered wetlands in Sweden were drained to improve forest productivity. Area wise, most of the forest drainage was done in northern Sweden, but relatively speaking a larger part of the wetlands have been drained in the southern parts of the country. Most often, the forest drainage resulted in increased forest growth, but failures were not unusual, and harmful effects, e.g. on species richness, have been a common cause for draining. Ditch cleaning is necessary for maintaining the ditches in good condition.

In this paper the authors examine three questions: 1) Is stealth marketing messages posing as status updates on Facebook a more effective way of advertising than traditional web banners? 2) What impact has learning about stealth marketing practices in social media on consumer attitude and post purchase behaviour? And finally 3) Will different generations respond differently to these questions?Our findings show that stealth marketing in social media is not more effective than traditional web banners. Furthermore, the result indicates that when consumers find out about stealth marketing practices it will have a negative impact on future purchase intensions and brand image. Most consumers will also have strong feelings of being deceived, which could instigate harmful post purchase behaviour such as negative word-of-mouth and possibly, based on some earlier cases, boycotts.The result of our research shows that the brand perceptions and future purchase intentions of Generation Y, persons between 18 and 30 years of age, are affected in a less negative way than the brand perceptions and future purchase intentions of older generations when finding out about stealth marketing practices in social media. However Generation Y:s reaction is still negative and they do consider traditional web banners to be more credible than status updates on Facebook.

The main purpose of this Master's thesis is to investigate the new librarians' experiences and skills in the context of their present work situation and the ongoing debate about the librarian's professional identity and status. Further, the authors wanted to find out whether the new librarians' experiences and knowledge developed throughout their education correspond to the requirements of the employers. Finally, they try to assess theimpact of the "academization" of the library schools on the status of the profession. The data consist of an opinion poll. The investigation is based on questionnaires distributed as a web survey.

Contemporary plant design can be examined by how it relates to two extremes - Nature and Art. This idea is explained by Noel Kingsbury in the book The Dynamic Landscape where he places designers and their projects on a gradient (Kingsbury, 2004). Nature, one of the extremes can be represented by a dynamic, species-rich plant design with native species and with nature as the ideal. The other extreme - Art implies a more static view on plant design. Here, the designs consist of colourful flowers, exotic species and cultivars with double flowers.

The purpose of this essay is to explore how social media affect the political orientation and commitment of youths. Three scientific questions highlight the purpose from different angles. The didactic perspective is discussed in the initial and closing discussion, and is analyzed in the corresponding chapter. Two methods are involved in the study; one survey and one interview with a focus group. The survey had a total of 98 respondents from four different classes, all in the first grade of upper secondary school.
