Diagnosis means detection and isolation of faults. A model based diagnosis system is built on a mathematical model of the system. The difficulty when constructing the diagnosis system depends om how the model is formulated. In this report, a method is described that rewrites the model on such a form that the construction of the diagnosis algoritm is easy. The model is transformed by two state space transformations and the result will be a system on state space form where one part of the system becomes easy to supervise.

Studien förklarar vad terra preta är och hur man med enkla medel kan använda sig av terra preta i sin fritidsodling. Studien baseras på litteraturstudier men även genom ett studiebesök och egna praktiska experiment har jag fått ökad förståelse och kunskap om ämnet.Arbetet redovisar vad terra preta är ur historiskt perspektiv, dagens användning av terra preta och pågående forskning. I Resultatet presenteras två förslag med illustrationer och text på hur man kan tillverka biokol i pyrolysanläggningar. Därefter bearbetas frågeställningen hur man kan använda sig av biokol i sin odling. Syftet med arbetet är att underlätta för den som är intresserad av att odla med terra preta att få sammanställd information om hur man kan gå till väga praktiskt..

Det talas om översvämningar - hur processen med att ta fram översiktsplaner, samt dess styrmedel skall förändras så att den fysiska miljön kan möta klimatförändringarna, är ett examensarbete som redogör för hur anpassande och förebyggande klimatarbete lättare skall implementeras i fysisk planering. Religiös etik i miljöarbetetUppsatsen bygger på en primär fråga och det är huruvida religion kan bidra med en etisk aspekt i miljöarbetet, jag har även försökt att besvara en sekundär frågeställning som avser hur miljön med hjälp av en religion ur miljöetiskt perspektiv kan förbättras för människor, djur och natur.          För att besvara frågeställningen har jag använt mig av en komparativ studie där jag har jämfört Larry L Rasmussens Earth community, earth ethics och Dalai Lamas Etik för ett nytt millenium. Carolyn Merchants Naturens Död utgör min bakgrund och är det perspektiv jag antagit i undersökningen, jag valde författaren för att få en feministisk historisk analys av de händelser som lett fram till det moderna vetenskapssamhället och problemställningen vi står inför idag.          Resultatet av undersökningen visar att det största ansvaret ligger på individen men att ett etiskt system baserat på världsreligionernas centrala värderingar kan vara till stor hjälp när eget ansvar och etiska överväganden ska avgöras. Kristendomen har genom dualism och mans-centrering skapat ett destruktivt förhållningssätt till naturen och kvinnor vilket bidragit till många av dagens miljöproblem, klassåtskillnader och andra orättvisor, därför måste kristendomen reformeras till att se människan som en del av naturen och ta beslut som har en helhet i åtanke då hela världen samverkar i ett enda system. Det är speciellt viktigt att kristendomen tar ett stort ansvar att förvandla den västerländska världen från en materialistisk till en ansvarstagande kultur, därefter kan den bidra ur ett miljöetiskt perspektiv.          Dalai Lamas etik utgår från invidnivå och eget ansvar som inte förutsätter en religiös övertygelse av den anledningen att religion och andlighet är skilda saker. Religion är bön, ritualer och tro på en metafysisk sfär, andlighet har med den mänskliga andens egenskaper att göra det vill säga medkänsla, tålamod och ansvar.En etik som hjälper människor att ta ansvar och hantera lidande kan vara till stor hjälp för att bidra till psykologisk och emotionell hälsa i västländerna.

There are over 1,5 billion Muslims living on earth and the religion is one of the world´s most increasing. Sweden is a country with a cultural diversity where about 300 000 Muslims lived in 1999. Today, the requirement for knowledge about caring for Muslims and the need of culturally competent nursing care are increasing.The aim of this study was to define cultural factors which the nurse has to recognize to be able to give culturally competent care to the Muslim patient. The method that has been used was a The Sunrise Model, which illustrates Leininger´s theory of culture care diversity and universality, provides a theoretical framework for the study. The results are presented on the basis of Leininger´s three cultural factors; cultural values, beliefs and lifeways.

This essay is about the Swedish textile heritage but also with an analysis of handmade hemp textiles from Transylvania. Plant fibers such as hemp and flax grown in a soil nature that existed around the subsistence farm. The knowledge of the earth nature combined with textiles has not been specifically studied in the research from the last century. By examining simple folk textiles of hemp shows how the textiles also are an universal field. The focus is on the raw material which is a transformation between nature and culture.With a phenomenological approach, the study will describe how the textile heritage announcement molds a territory in the interpretation of "our" Swedish plantfibres for textiles uses.

The purpose of this essay is to study the public debate on the subject of creationism, the belief that there is a creator of all life on earth. The study is focused on creationism in different forms in schools and the more general discussion of creationism as an alternative to the theory of evolution. The overall question is what should be taught as the origin of life: Evolution or creationism in various shapes and forms? The essay consists of an overview of previous research in both the USA and Sweden, and an analysis of argumentation on the issue in newspapers. A comparison is made between the USA and Sweden.The analysis of newspapers shows that there are some arguments for different forms of creationism but there are considerably more arguments against creationism.

Renewable energy and the charging of electrical vehicles will increase in the future. Therefore the risk of outages is also increasing, partly because renewable energy is intermittent and the production amount can change fast. Charging electrical vehicles is often demanding high effect in short time, which could make faults occur. It takes more advanced technology to short the outage time. Today Övik Energi has high reliability in the power grid, but in order to maintain the reliability, it is time to prevent problems that can occur in the future. This thesis has presented a suggestion for the placement of fault detectors Protrol IPS2, in which a total of four detectors is proposed.

The aim of the study is to examine how religion legitimates outrages and it what ways we can regard religion as politics. The study uses the theory that Eickelman and Piscatori present in their book Muslim politics. They use the term ?Muslim politics? to describe the relation between Islam and politics. Eickelman and Piscatori divide Muslim politics in five elements that the essay uses to structure the analysis.

The purpose of this study is to find out teachers and students thoughts about sustainable development. Research shows that sustainable development should be a part of all education. When this is the case, the student´s will develop a competence to act in this matter. This is important so student´s encourages to act and make decisions based on knowledge about sustainable development. This field investigation is based on four interviews with teachers and eleven interviews with student´s. The result shows that the teachers has learned a lot about the concept, and in different ways realizated this in their teaching.

For some time researcher has focused their interest on how women are being treated in sports and what impact it has on the development of the sports movement. Researchers in the field have tried to clarify where the problem lies, if it is gender or sex. Are the differences between the sexes caused by how society portrays women or because women and men are built for different purposes. This research paper studied how women in the sports of snowboarding and freeskiing perceived their possibilities to practice their own sports. Furthermore, the study tried to answer if the problems are originated from the culture of the sports, what the possibilities and opportunities women had to make ?it? and what women think is the reason why there are so few female athletes in their sports.

Our environment affect us, not least gardens. By practising the ancient Chinese art feng shui, one could find tools how to create harmony and balance in gardens. By paying attention to different energies working with colours, shapes and materials one can create a nice garden with good feng shui. The philosophy, however, includes much more than what plants or what hard materials to choose in the garden. It describes different energies, the movement of energies, which we can learn to live in harmony with.
