What are the basic thoughts formulated in the Heraclitean fragments? A cosmology, a philosophy of nature, the idea that all can be reduced to a single substance? There is always a risk that Heraclitus is fitted into a thought pattern he doesn?t belong to, if we ? from our present horizon ? focus on continuity in an attempt to frame his thinking as part of an overall progress, running from the so-called pre-Socratics to Aristotle, in the history of philosophy. If we picture the dawn of Western civilization as an early development of scientific thinking, built on a gradual and continuous growth of knowledge, we will easily go astray as we try to discover the Greek origins of philosophy. Assuming, for example, that the readings of Heraclitus as a natural philosopher have come to a dead end, can we approach the fragments from a different angle?The aim of this paper is not to give a systematized reading of all the remaining fragments of Heraclitus, but neither to necessarily contradict the various interpretations that emphasise how these shattered remains reflect a coherent philosophy.

Like several of her female peers, Marie Under (1883 - 1980) has been denied the international acclaim she deserves. The earliest text on Marie Under in swedish told of her greatness, but in classical fallic maner reduced her poetic production by marking it with pathological symtoms. Though latter texts by author Enel Melberg have put a feminist perspective on Unders work, the theoretical complexity of her poetic images and language, and its polemic relation to contemporary literary currents, has yet to be recognised. This study will seek to portrait Marie Under and her poetry in this new light.The study moves from an installation of Marie Under in the modern discourse she so far has been estranged from, to an analysis of her earlier works (in the 1910?s and 1920?s).

Tvång är en realitet i psykiatrisk slutenvård och påverkan på individens autonomi utgör en viktig kunskapskälla för omvårdnadspersonal. Under 1990-talet genomfördes betydande förändringar inom psykiatrins område med uppkomst av Psykiatrireformen, Lag om psykiatrisk tvångsvård och Lag om rättspsykiatrisk vård, i syfte att förbättra vård och behandling av individer med psykiatriska åkommor. Tvångsåtgärder som förekommer inom den psykiatriska vården utgörs av bältning, isolering, kvarhållande på en sluten psykiatrisk vårdenhet och dylika frihetsberövande åtgärder. Syftet var att beskriva upplevelser och erfarenheter hos individer som genomgått psykiatrisk tvångsvård inom slutenvården. Metoden var en litteraturstudie av kvalitativ design med induktiv ansats.

Bakgrund: Modified Early Warning Score (MEWS) är ett bedömningsinstrument för utvärdering av patienters vitalparametrar. Verktygets funktion är att genom strukturerade observationer identifiera patienter med sviktande vitala funktioner, och således kunna vidta åtgärder innan patienten avlider eller kräver intensivvård. Nyttan av MEWS inom onkologisk heldygnsvård är än så länge dokumenterat i mycket liten utsträckning. En studie från 2012 indikerar att MEWS inte är ett effektivt verktyg för att förutse försämringar hos onkologiska patienter. Syfte: Att undersöka om patienter inom onkologisk vård uppvisar MEWS 0-17 poäng veckan innan dödsfall. Vidare ämnar författarna vilka specifika parametrar inom MEWS som orsakade förhöjda totalpoäng, samt om några skillnader föreligger mellan män och kvinnor.Metod: Retrospektiv journalgranskningsstudie där dokumentation av MEWS-bedömningar granskades i 70 patientjournaler.Resultat: Undersökningsgruppen hade ett genomsnittligt MEWS på 2,99 under den sista levnadsveckan. Av de enskilda variablerna inom MEWS var andningsfrekvens den som oftast gav poäng ?1.

Föreliggande examensuppsats undersöker vilka möjliga betydelser och meningsinnebörder feministiska perspektiv kan ha för bedrivandet av psykoterapi. Utifrån en explorativ och förståelsegrundande ansats intervjuades 13 svenska behandlare med självidentifierade feministiska utgångspunkter om hur de ser på skärningsytorna mellan feminism och psykoterapi, sin yrkesroll, samt vilka konsekvenser deras feministiska perspektiv får i det praktiska behandlingsarbetet.Resultaten visar att feministisk terapi som begrepp framstår som i stort sett oetablerat i en svensk psykoterapeutisk kontext, att förhållandevis lite forskning på området tidigare är gjord, samt att intervjudeltagarna ofta framställer sammanjämkningen mellan feministiska och psykoterapeutiska diskurser som komplicerad. De medverkande beskriver sina feministiska utgångspunkter som en bakomliggande filosofi snarare än en uppsättning tekniker. The communication of self-service within the ICA-sphere, 1945-1960, points tothe central role of communication in technological change. The study explores collective action in Sweden between 1980 to 1995 using time-series data from the European Protest and Coercion Database. In spite of severe hardship during the crisis of the early 1990s, Swedish strike-rates declined. However, contention merely shifted from workplaces into the streets; there was indeed a protest movement against austerity, as shown by a series of large demonstrations, and some riots, between 1989 and 1993. Further analysis indicates this movement faded as it was increasingly chanelled into the electoral campaign of the labor pary; having won the 1994 election, the organised labor movement no longer had an interest in sustaining the protest movement against austerity..

The purpose of this study is to examine how some early year pupils define homework, how much homework they get and also how these pupils perceive that they are affected by the homework. The study is qualitative where ten pupils participated in a semi structured interview. The study will show that these pupils are given homework once a week. The homework is mostly math and reading. The study will continue to show that the pupils believe that homework is important for their learning and also that homework often is boring and that it competes with recreational activities such as friends, sports and rest.

I denna studie ställs frågan om den psykiatriska diagnosens sociala praktik för människor som inte har den psykiatriskt diagnostiserande specialvetenskapens utbildning genom att utforska ett perspektiv som inte uppmärksammats av forskningsfältet: vårdpersonalsperspektivet. Frågeställningen är hur människor som lekmän använder psykiatriska diagnoser och vilka faktorer som påverkar hur psykiatriska diagnoser upplevs som meningsfulla. Uppsatsens teoretiska utgångspunkt är hämtad från Ian Hackings analys av psykiatrisk diagnostik som en interaktiv kategori tillsammans med en analys av Martin Heideggers syn på det mänskliga ?varat? som ett socio-ontologiskt koncept. Härigenom framträder en bild av hur psykiatriska diagnoser är problemformuleringar sprungna ur självreflektion.

SAMMANFATTNINGInledning: Den som begår ett brott under allvarlig psykisk störning kan överlämnas till rättspsykiatrisk vård istället för fängelse enligt lagen för rättspsykiatrisk vård (SFS 1991:1129). Inom den rättspsykiatriska slutenvården är sjuksköterskans uppgift att vårda patienten under frihetsberövning för att skydda samhället från patienten.Syfte: Att belysa sjuksköterskans upplevelse av att omvårda patienter under lagen av rättspsykiatrisk vård.Metod: En kvalitativ intervjustudie, nio sjuksköterskor med erfarenhet av rättspsykiatrisk vård intervjuades. Intervjuerna analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat: Huvudresultatet är temat omvårdnaden är nyckeln tillbaka till ett fungerande liv i samhället. Ur temat lyftes sex kategorier: Att se patienten som medmänniska, Att få patienten delaktig i vården, Mål och delmål mot återanpassning, Samtal som omvårdnadsåtgärd, Balansera vårda och vakta, och Vårda med stöd av lagen. Resultatet visar att sjuksköterskorna betonar respekt för patientens människovärde och reflekterar över sitt eget och patientens agerande.

The purpose with this study was to examine what kind of knowledge children in preschool have regarding what plants are, and what plants need in order to grow and survive. By means of qualitative interviews I have let 12 children in the ages of 3 to 5 years answer questions regarding the subject.From the results it is obvious that the children in the early age groups already have some knowledge of what a plant is and can also mention a few basic factors for a plants survival. In addition, the results show that their knowledge increases with the childs age and that the conversations become more distinct with more resulting questions the older the children are.Keywords.
