Many researches demonstrates that children who deal with matematics in a meaningful context early in their age, will manage a much wider context later in school. The purpose of this work is to highlight the importence of teacher´s view on matematics and how matematics can be visible for the children when they are in a preschool age. Im trying to promote the importance of mathematics wich characterizes much of our society. Highlighting todays nursay?s and the fact that there is plenty of good enviroments for the learning of mathematics.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att utifrån en intressentmodell granska nyttan av revisionspliktenför samhället samt näringslivet. Intressenterna blir i detta fall Ekobrottsmyndigheten,Skatteverket och små och medelstora företag. Hur små och medelstora företag ser pårevisionsplikten kommer analyseras och alternativ till revisionsplikten kommer även attbehandlas.Avgränsningar: Uppsatsen behandlar endast Skatteverket, Ekobrottsmyndigheten ochnäringslivet. Från näringslivet väljs två företag som författaren vidare undersöker.Metod: Undersökningen riktar sig mot två intressentgrupper. Representanter från dessaintressenter intervjuas i person.Teori: Teorier om revisionspliktens syfte och nytta hämtas från sekundära källor.

Polisen i Sverige ligger många år efter sina kollegor framförallt i England och USA när det gäller att använda sig av psykologiska kunskaper när man håller förhör. Vittnesutsagan och vad man får fram för uppgifter är till mångt och mycket beroende av förhörsledarens kompetens och kunskaper. Trots att förhöret är en så viktig del av bevissäkringen i en utredning är det en väldigt försummat del av arbetet inom polisen. Anledningen till att vi har valt att fördjupa oss i ämnet vittnesförhör och vittnespsykologi är att vi genom denna rapport förhoppningsvis kan få en inblick i hur man kan bli en bra förhörsledare. Hur man genom kunskaper om hur en människa fungerar och varför man reagerar på vissa sätt kan lära sig att bemöta vittnen och personer man ska förhöra på ett bra och givande sätt.

This study investigates how assistive technology tools are used in the classroom by students in reading and writing disabilities in the school years immediately prior to moving to gymnasium. Through observations and interviews with two students and two teachers this study also considers if the use of these tools can lead to increased accessibility and goal fulfilment, and whether these elements are prerequisites for success. The result shows that the students use laptops in the classroom, primarily for writing longer texts, and that in order to be successful, an early start, equipment, time and positive attitudes towards the tools are important. The students use the tools in the classroom, but they have very different feelings about how included they are in the class. The participants see a clear link between the use of assistive technology tools and increased goal fulfilment. .

A church in rural Vester Egede from the earliest Christian period in Denmark e.g. the early 1100, a baptismal font is found showing a woman breastfeeding two animals. She is said to be a typical early roman Luxuria, in mild appearance. However, what makes her unique is that she appears standing on the top of her head, her womb serving as font. The main question is how come that a baptismal font like this is to be found in a church, leading to the sub question, if this font really has a Christian origin or could it be rooted in Norse, pre-Christian tradition, alternatively is the font an expression of a syncretism between the two colliding cultures.

The study explores collective action in Sweden between 1980 to 1995 using time-series data from the European Protest and Coercion Database. In spite of severe hardship during the crisis of the early 1990s, Swedish strike-rates declined. However, contention merely shifted from workplaces into the streets; there was indeed a protest movement against austerity, as shown by a series of large demonstrations, and some riots, between 1989 and 1993. Further analysis indicates this movement faded as it was increasingly chanelled into the electoral campaign of the labor pary; having won the 1994 election, the organised labor movement no longer had an interest in sustaining the protest movement against austerity..

Det här är en studie som angriper den svenska nekrologen från två olika håll. Dels gör vi kvalitativa analyser av totalt 42 olika nekrologer som publicerats i Dagens Nyheter och Svenska Dagbladet i februari 2011; dels gör vi djupgående samtalsintervjuer med sex noggrant utvalda personer, däribland världens kanske främste nekrologexpert ? australiske professorn Nigel Starck. Uppsatsidén uppstod ur en ömsesidig känsla av att nekrologgenren ofta är bedräglig. Vi ansåg att skribenterna, som i Sverige ofta är anhöriga till den avlidne, tassade fram med silkesvantar, mer angelägna att teckna vördnadsfulla och retuscherade porträtt än att säga sanningen.

In early January 2010 the authors participated in a meeting with the chief engineer for a company in which a central part is manufacturing of printed circuit boards (PCB). At this meeting it emerged that the machinery and production methods have changed substantially since the early 1990's. The spreadsheet for preliminary production time calculations by the company is today based on conditions from almost 20 years ago. The company has over the years been trying to adjust the spreadsheet template. The result of these adjustments has filled it with historical residue, something which makes the template difficult and time consuming when the primary user tries to handle it.The purpose of this study was to help the company increase its accuracy in the representation of the production times for the different PCB-based products by developing a new costing model based on an already existing but inadequate spreadsheet template. The company also expressed the wish that the new costing model would be less time consuming to work with.The methods used to achieve the goal are interviewing, participatory observations and meetings with relevant persons. The data obtained were analyzed using the theory on PCB production and visualization of data.

Syftet med fallstudien var att studera hur lärare, speciallärare och specialpedagog beskriver sitt förebyggande och stödjande arbete med att tidigt upptäcka och åtgärda läs- och skrivsvårigheter i åk 1. Vi har genom kvalitativa intervjuer med två lärare, en speciallärare och en specialpedagog fått en ingående bild av hur detta arbete ser ut på två olika stockholmsskolor. Utifrån pedagogernas intervjusvar tycker vi oss kunna säga att teori och praktik stämmer bra överens och mycket av det som vi har läst i litteraturen verkar också praktiseras ute på de två skolor som vi har studerat. Studien har visat att pedagogerna inte använder sig av ?vänta-och- se?- pedagogiken för att barnens läsning ska komma igång av sig självt utan de menar att de arbetar medvetet förebyggande och med tidiga insatser när det gäller barn som ligger i riskzonen för läs- och skrivsvårigheter.

This master's thesis asks two main questions concerning the history of the City and UniversityLibrary of Gothenburg: what was the prevailing view of the library and its role? Whateconomic support did the library receive and from whom?By critically examining extensive source material mainly from the library archives and cityand state records, these conclusions are drawn: the City and University Library was regardedas a purely scientific library by all involved except the state as early as the 1920s. The state didnot express this view until 1946. The support came almost exclusively from the city ofGothenburg, the state not extending support on a larger scale until 1946 and then onlysporadically. The widely-held view of the library as a scientific one was ignored by the statein its repeated refusals to grant the library support both before and after 1946.

I olika delar utav världen finns idag cirka 20 miljoner invandrare som har lämnat sina länder på grund utav krig och fattigdom. Det svenska samhället utgörs idag utav 20 % invandrare. Med den ökade invandringen blir mötet med invandrare allt vanligare inom sjukvården. Detta möte kan bli problematiskt på grund av kulturkrockar, språkproblem och religiösa uppfattningar. Enligt hälso- och sjukvårdslagen (1982) bör vård ges på lika villkor till all befolkning i Sverige (Hanssen 2007).

During the past decade Information Technology (IT) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) have become the main tools in teaching. Authors and early educators who are treated in the study talks about how technology has come to change the school's approach to teaching and didactic tools. The technology has also affected students´ and teachers´ ways to work because the technology's versatility makes demands on the user's expertise and competence. The technical skills have long been associated as a male domain, where men are expected to master the technology´s versatility. These expectations are not the same for women.

AbstractThe purpose of this essay is to analyse and interpret artist Hans Hedberg?s monumental, ceramic reliefs in Sweden and France. Hedberg is internationally famous for his ceramic fruits and eggs in different glaces and formats. A mostly unknown side of his artistic production is that he produced about 50 ceramic reliefs during the 1950s and up to the 1970s in public buildings. Hedberg was one of very few foreign artists in France, who, during a long period of time, produced monumental, public reliefs for the French state.

Språksvårigheter kan leda till sociala problem eller vara en indikation på neuropsykologiska problem. MacArthur-Bates Communicative Development Inventories (MB-CDI) och Children´s Communication Checklist (CCC) är instrument som används för att uppmärksamma eventuella brister i kommunikations- och språkutveckling. Swedish Early Communactive Development Inventories (SECDI) är svenska motsvarigheten till MB-CDI. Föreliggande studies syfte var att validera den nya svenska versionen av SECDI för barn 3-5 år gamla (SECDI-III) mot de tio skalorna i CCC-2. 36 föräldrar deltog i studien.

This essay has a purpose of looking at Swedish independent labels in the music industry and how they communicate with their market through social networks on the internet. There have not been much research about this in the past and we hope to contribute with knowledge to the area. In mind we had the changing music industry, an evolution of the internet and viral marketing communication.To answer our research question we decided to conduct three interviews with people who worked at independent labels and had market communication as their area ofresponsibility. The three independent labels in our study were based in Sweden, except for one that is based in London, England as well as Stockholm, Sweden. We selected the independent labels based on their tendency to work with marketing communication in the social networks on the internet.
