I sammarbete med företaget Sogeti Jönköping fokuserar studien på att hitta en metod som gör det möjligt att migrera appar mellan plattformar och till Windows Phone 8. Studien innefattar också att identifiera för och nackdelar med olika app-typer genom en litteraturstudie och intervjuer samt att testa om migrationsmetoderna fungerar praktisk genom en implementation.Resultatet har påvisat att det finns två stycken olika metoder för migration vilket är PhoneGap och Xamarin.

Ambitionen med denna uppsats är att kartlägga i vilken omfattning det förekommer intoleranta attityder avseende etnicitet och i vilken omfattning dessa attityder uttrycks i form av verbala kränkningar, hot och misshandel, bland elever i årskurs nio i en kommun i södra Sverige. Med utgångspunkt i ?Citizenship education? och den riksomfattande Intoleransrapporten, genomför jag en enkätundersökning på två skolor med olika elevsammansättning. Undersökningen visar i vilken utsträckning eleverna har en intolerant inställning till personer av annat etniskt ursprung samt i vilken omfattning eleverna blivit utsatta för eller utsatt andra för intoleranta uttryck i form av verbala kränkningar, hot eller våld. Resultaten av min undersökning visar på en högre grad av intolerans i samtliga avseenden jämfört med tidigare rikstäckande undersökningar..

Uppsatsen behandlar folkgruppen assyrier/syrianers upplevelser och erfarenheter av livet i diaspora i allmänhet och förhållande till hemlandet Turabdin i synnerhet. Fenomenet hemlandet utgör uppsatsens centrala tema. Vad betyder hemlandet och vad ges det för innebörd? Svaren på dessa frågor har jag funnit i de artiklar, insändare, reportage och dikter som jag studerat i tidskrifterna Hujådå och Bahro Suryoyo. Uppsatsens syfte är att belysa livet i diaspora och dess komplexitet utifrån assyriers/syrianers egna beskrivningar av sina upplevelser och erfarenheter av livet i Sverige.

A logical cause of migration is of course immigrants which is a topic always creating discussions. When arriving in a new country a process of integration with the goal to adapt to the environment is started. This study will explore the need for integration and seeks to examine the connection between population composition and radical right opinions.To fulfill the aim, a multivariate regression analysis is done on aggregated level in Sweden with statistics concerning the year of 2010. The relation between ethnic composition and voters support for the Swedish radical right party Sverigedemokraterna is studied as well as integration as an explanatory intermediate factor operationalized through unemployment, financial assistance and trust.The results of the study indicate a positive connection between immigrants from EU/EFTA and the voter support for Sverigedemokraterna. A negative relation is identified between trust and the voter support for Sverigedemokraterna.

The purpose of this paper is to examine if there are any differences or similarities when it comes to teaching religion in a multicultural school versus teaching religion in a homogeneous school in Sweden. How do teachers describe religious education in schools and how do they justify their teaching strategies? What similarities or differences are there between teachers' approaches when teaching religion in homogeneous versus multicultural schools?The study is based on qualitative interviews which includes a total of four schools; two homogeneous and two multicultural. These schools have been selected with the help of the Migration Board's annual report from 2014 as well as from my own personal knowledge. One religious teacher from each of the schools was interviewed.The conclusion, among others, is that ethnic Swedish pupils do not have the same understanding of religion as students of different ethnicity.

This thesis uses statistical methods to investigate if political appointees working for the Swedish government are good representatives for the members of the ruling party. This is a relevant question since the number of political appointees and the political fields in which they are employed have increased. Some say that this is a sign of presidentialism, which in this context means that the prime minister and his cabinet are becoming more independent from parliament and supporting party. The research is done by comparing the political appointees with an select elite of party members regards to socioeconomic background, which interest that are promoted in society and ideology. The consequences of differences on these characteristics between political appointees and the party elite could be that some interest in society are wrongly overrepresented while others are wrongly underrepresented by the unelected political appointees.

Den här studien har haft som avsikt att undersöka hur redovisning av intellektuellt kapital rapporteras av de fyra största bankerna i Sverige. Vi beskriver och analyserar vilka indikatorer bankerna fokuserar på i redovisningen av intellektuellt kapital. Vi har gjort en kvalitativ undersökning genom att analysera den icke-finansiella delen i årsredovisningar från Handelsbanken, SEB, Swedbank och Nordea från åren 1998, 2003 och 2008. Vi har valt att kategorisera intellektuellt kapital efter MERITUM?s definitioner av human-, struktur- och relationskapital.

Det må inte finnas någon enhetlig definition av vad som är terrorism eller vem som är terrorist, men klart är att attacker riktade mot samhället och dess invånare (vare sig de tar livet av oskyldiga människor eller inte) genererar i trygghetshöjande åtgärder.Att studera realism i förhållandet stat mot icke stat, hör inte till vanligheterna men i den här studien påvisas att det faktiskt är möjligt och intressant att göra detta. Enligt realism svarar en stat olika mycket på ett hot eller attentat beroende på kraftfullheten eller följderna där ett attentat med stora följder som den i Norge skulle föra med sig betydligt fler förändringar i säkerhetsarbetet på Norska myndigheter än den i Stockholm skulle göra på Svenska myndigheter. Undersökningens resultat visar att Norge gjort fler och mer djupgående förändringar på deras policies och säkerhetsåtgärder än vad Sverige gjort..

The Sweden Democrats (Sverigedemokraterna) has for a long time been the subject of study by political scientists. In the meantime they have been categorized as National Socialists, Fascists, right-wing extremists and more recently radical right populists. But it has not been categorized according to the theories that I expect. The purpose of this essay is to study how well Sweden Democrats policies match with ideas that are typical for radical right populist parties. The main research question is:- Are Sweden Democrats showing details which are typical for radical right populist parties?To be able to answer those questions, I have used an ideal type analysis and developed an analysis instrument according the theoretical approach and the methods in Bergström & Boréus book.

ABSTRACT The main purpose of IT security policies is to protect companies against intrusion and unwanted spread of information. Statistics show that IT related crimes tend to increase and because of that it is important, from the company?s side of view, to be well prepared. The IT security policy is an important part of that preparation. A lot of the crimes related to IT can be deduced indirectly to employees at the companies where the crime takes place.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur migrationserfarenheter hos moldovier som nu bor i Sverige har påverkat deras identitetsskapande. Genom intervjuer med ett levnadsberättelseperspektiv undersöks hur bilden av Europa innan migrationen påverkat beslutet att flytta, hur bilden av Moldavien har förändrats efter migrationen, samt i vilken mån det har betydelse för deras identitet. Studien visar att idéer om språk och historia får stor betydelse vid stora samhällsomvandlingar och kopplas till den egna identiteten. Informanterna omgavs i Moldavien av migrationsberättelser, vilka skapade en migrationslängtan. Moldavien pratades om som något annat och sämre än ?Europa? och de själva konstruerades som icke-européer.

During the 1960s and 1970s an increased interest in Native Americans can be seen in Sweden, e.g. through the establishment of organizations such as the Indian Club of Sweden. The aim of this thesis is to study the portrayal of Native Americans and its role through Albin Widén, a Swedish author, ethnologist and member of the Indian Club, and his non-fictional works on the Swedish migration to America, Swedish-America and Swedish contacts with Native Americans. The study is divided into four parts. The first part looks at the portrayal of the Native Americans in Widén?s writings, in comparison with Euro-Americans? and Europeans? traditional stereotypic images of a good and a bad Indian.
