With a strong company culture an organisation has relationships with their clients on an organizational level rather than on an individual. This simplifies the ability to change team members in order to enforce creativity and keep clients on a long-term basis. In turn the final product/service improves, which creates long-term relationships. Additionally, relationships on a personal level due to social activities helps Solberg detect early warnings-signs of eventual dissatisfaction from the client?s point of view.

Mitt syfte med detta arbete är att reda ut begreppen ordblindhet, dyslexi och läs- och skrivsvårigheter. Jag har sedan valt att använda definition läs- och skrivsvårigheter. I arbetet har jag undersökt hur pass väl teori stämmer överens med praktik, med tyngdpunkt på dessa orsaker, symptom, diagnos och åtgärder. Det är idag ganska oklart om vilka faktorer som är bidragande orsaker till läs- och skrivsvårigheter. Forskarna är osäkra på om läs- och skrivsvårigheter kan vara ärftligt betingat.

 The aim of this paper was to investigate how many students studying Swesdish as a foreign language, at secondary school level, in Tierps kommun, that have dropped out and their reasons for doing so. The reason for this is the report from Skolverket, stating that the rate of drop outs at this level is very high. To investigate this, a quantitative method was used. A questionnaire was sent out to all the students that dropped out 2005-2008. The result showed that the two main reasons for leaving their studies were that the individuals had found a job or thought the studies were too hard. The research also showed that the majority of the students had not been in contact with Career counseller prior to ending their studies. We came to the conclusion that there might be a need for developing the teaching and to work out routines for guidance at drop out situations.

The original promise behind the Internet Protocol was to deliver data from a sender to the receiver using a best-effort approach. This means that the protocol makes no guarantees except that it will try to deliver the data to the destination. If some problem occurs the packet may be discarded by the network without any notice. No guarantees are made regarding the time it takes to deliver the data, the rate at which data will be delivered or if data is delivered in the same order it was sent. The best-effort approach is arguably the reason behind the success of the Internet Protocol and is what makes IP scalable to networks the size of the Internet.

Inför detta examensarbete hade båda författarna enligt dem själva mött relativt lite bildteori i skolan. Eftersom teorin har varit så pass central på högskolan väcktes ett intresse för frågan: Hur arbetar bildlärare på fältet med teoretiska begrepp och bildanalys. Begreppet vi har valt att arbeta är semiotik och hur bildlärare arbetar med detta. Vi har varit ute på fem högstadieskolor och intervjuat fem bildämneslärare. Vi har valt att göra detta med semistrukturerade intervjuer. För att få insikt och kunna behandla våra frågeställningar har vi använt oss av litteratur som berör ämnet semiotik och semiotik i bildundervisning.

An ethnographic study loosely informed by the theoretical framework of distributed cognition was carried out in order to describe how mariners have adopted the Automatic Identification System (AIS) in their work practice, or"made the technology their own". AIS is a transponder-based identification and communication system that allows ships to automatically identify and track each other. In addition to facilitating the identification and tracking of ships, objectives behind the introduction of AIS are to"simplify informational exchange", and"provide additional information to assist situation awareness". Participant observation and interviews were made at four different ships, as well as at two shore stations. A focus group was also held at a maritime conference.

The thesis strives to answer the question whether there are any differences between how young customers, in comparison with older, are affected by brands when buying different products. The purpose is to get a clearer idea about the brands' importance in the future and in that way also to give guidance to companies about how to best market themselves and there products.To answer the question, an experiment was conducted with 480 respondents taking a survey where they had to rate a product after reading a short text about it. Some of the texts stated that a specific brand was behind the product while some said the product was produced by an unknown brand.The result of the study was that young people showed a greater propensity of rating products with a brand higher than products without brands, in comparison with the older respondents. This gives reason to believe that brands progressively will become an even more important tool for marketers and an unmatched asset for companies in the future..

Kunskapsöverföring har ansetts vara av vikt inom företag och organisationer för att bevara kunskapen, informationen och för att kunna förmedla den vidare till andra medlemmar. Studiens primära syfte var att genom forskningsteorier och intervjuer effektivisera Rädda barnens Ellen och Allan projekt i deras kunskapsöverföring. 5 aktiva medlemmar inom Ellen och Allan projektet intervjuades samt 1 kontrollintervju genomfördes med en rutinerad projektledare från Svenska kyrkan, för att få fram dennes syn på projektets nuvarande situation gällande kunskapsöverföring.     Resultatet visade att det finns en viss otrygghet i rollerna och framförallt hos projektledarna, som inte har någon specifik roll- eller uppdragsbeskrivning. Genom resultatet kunde vi även se att kunskapsöverföringen bör vara ett ingående moment i organisationens projektbeskrivning för att det ska fungera på bästa sätt. Fysiska möten och god kommunikation mellan deltagarna bör även prioriteras för att effektivisera kunskapsöverföringen inom projektet..

This literature review summarizes available data on infection with the parasitic roundworm, Ascaridia galli, as a cause of disease in poultry, including the consequences of a conversion to alternative production systems. Ascaridia galli has a direct life cycle with resistant eggs that survive and are easily spread in the environment, especially in systems with bedding materials where the faecal contact is high. The infection is usually subclinical but depending on the infection dose, the symptoms range from weight loss and diarrhea to mortality. Factors such as the feed composition and genetic variation among different hybrids clearly affect the establishment rate of the infection. Ascaridia galli will probably become an increasing problem, with a shift from the traditional battery cages to alternative systems where the risk of re-infection is high.

Detta arbete syftar till att skapa en bättre förståelse till orsakerna bakom PA-teknikers val av ljudnivå på en konsert, och varför dessa ljudnivåer är så pass höga som de är idag. Ett antal ljudtekniker har i rollen som PA-tekniker fått besvara några frågor om ljudnivån på konserter. Dessutom har ett flertal konsertbesökare fått svara på bl.a. om de tycker att ljudnivån på konserter brukar vara lagom eller för hög. De flesta ljudteknikerna och nästan två tredjedelar av konsertbesökarna tyckte att ljudnivån brukar vara för hög.

Det huvudsakliga syftet med denna uppsats har varit att sammanställa de olika tolkningsmetoderna samt att rangordna vilken dignitet de har i relation till varandra. Arbetet beskriver hur den något komplexa processen för avtalstolkning går till samt vilka principer domstolen måste rätta sig efter. Jag kan numera fastställa att även om utgångspunkten vid all avtalstolkning är den gemensamma partsavsikten krävs det ofta andra tolkningsmetoder för att komma fram till en lösning på konflikten eftersom det i praktiken är förenat med mycket svårigheter att försöka finna en gemensam partsavsikt. Arbetet omfattar även en jämförelse med internationell avtalstolkning eftersom vi lever i en allt mer globaliserad värld och det är så pass vanligt förekommande med internationella avtal att man inte kan bortse från den betydelse som andra länders avtalstolkning kan ha för svenska avtalsparter..

Detta är en stickprovsstudie med målsättningen att jämföra hur fyra lärare från en gymnasieskola bedömde en elevtext och diskutera detta med hänsyn till validitet vid bedömning av elevtexter. Resultaten av denna undersökning visar att lärarnas bedömning av elevtexten var liknande både i tillvägagångssätt, värdering av innehållet och betyget de gav texten. Dock visar denna undersökning att validiteten i dessa bedömningar var låg då skillnaderna i de slutgiltiga bedömningarna var så pass stora att de inte kunde förbises. Resultaten visar också på vissa allmänna faktorer vid bedömning som är problematiska med hänsyn till bedömningarnas validitet och att vidare forskning bör bedrivas så att validiteten av lärares bedömningar och därmed betygens validitet kan fastställas.

This study has been performed with the help of forest machine operators in order to improve the forestry planning at Holmen Skog Örnsköldsvik-region. For Holmen Skog forestry planning is basic for a successful forestry. In a survey I have investigated what can be improved in some areas that are planned for harvesting. The result of the investigation will be used to support the machine operators as much as possible. The study has generated 49.5 % of responses and because of this low response rate, no clear conclusions to anyone else except the responding machine operators can be drawn. It has been proved that there are some details in the forestry planning system that are inadequate, such as marked routs for trails, tractor paths and buffer zones against streams. The quality of forestry planning varies greatly between different locations, as much as 50 % of the responding machine operators thought so. Over 40 % of the responding machine operators claim that the information from Holmen is insufficient. One thing that would improve the forestry planning within Holmen would be to educate all forestry planners and then do continuous follow-ups..
