En ulv i fårakläder??Author: Emma Haraldsson and Åsa NeuschützTutor: Emil UddhammarThe aim of this study is to explain Sverigedemokraterna?s electoral success in 2006 and the essay assumes that some form of change has occurred. To study this change two hypotheses have been constructed. The first hypothesis concerns the change within Sverigedemokraterna and the second hypothesis concerns the change of the Swedish voters attitudes.Kirchheimers catch-all theory is used to explain the change in Sverigedemokraterna. The catch-all theory states that parties have to change their structure to maximise the number of votes.

The aim of this masters thesis is to analyze how subjects of ethnographical objects should be described. To obtain this we focus on which subject aspects of ethnographical objects that could be possible and valuable to analyze and to index. This is done with the help of established LIS subject indexing theories, and through the perspective of ethnographical museum documentation. The theories are both general, concerning the stages of subject indexing, and more specific, regarding the indexing of pictures. One of the latter is the theoretical model of Sara Shatford, from the article Analyzing the Subject of a Picture.

Syftet är att undersöka ifall det finns ett signifikant samband mellan matchresultat och rörelsen i ett fotbollslags aktiekurs. Uppsatsen ska även ge en ökad förståelse gällande skillnader i avvikande avkastning vid olika typer av motstånd och matcher. Uppsatsen är kvantitativ undersökning med deduktivt angreppssätt där avvikande avkastning studeras vid olika händelser med hjälp av diverse hypotesprövningar. Teorierna i uppsatsen behandlar aktievärdering, marknadseffektivitet samt aktieägarbeteende. Empirin presenteras i form av tabeller med avvikande avkastning och hypotesprovningar vid olika händelser.

Uppsatsens syfte är att beskriva budgetanvändningen hos företag och utifrån ett antal situationsfaktorer analysera denna användning med contingency theory som berör ekonomistyrning. Metoden som ligger till grund för denna uppsats är både av kvantitativ och kvalitativ karaktär. Det kvantitativa återfinns i form av en surveyundersökning och det kvalitativa i form av fyra fallstudier. Uppsatsens angreppssätt är vidare abduktiv. Detta har sin grund i att uppsatsen undersöker en händelse, budgetanvändningen hos företag, och analyserar denna mot befintlig teori, vilket för uppsatsen är contingency theory.

Siblings of persons with disabilities tend to be sidelined and not get the same attention in the same amount as the child with the disability gets, both by the parents and the society. Previous research in this area is limited and siblings of people with disabilities and their experiences of support needs to be explored. The purpose of this paper is to learn about support for siblings of people with disabilities in terms of both adult siblings own experiences from his childhood and from practitioners experience. Six qualitative interviews with four adult siblings of people with disabilities and two professionals were interviewed. Systems Theory and Bronfenbrenners ecological model has provided the theoretical basis for the essay.

Today there are a big need for a system that delivers overview of all available units for different municipalities and shipping- and security companies due to the increasing requirements for efficiency. The purpose with this graduation thesis is to find out which systems that is suitable to use while developing cost-effective software for positioning and to produce a prototype for such solution.This assignment has been done at the request of PocketMobile Communications AB. PocketMobile is a company that are specialized on delivering modern mobile software solutions and systems to companies with their own vehicle fleet or mobile workers.This master thesis can be split into two separate parts, the theoretic- and the practical part.The theoretic part includes producing a number of functional requirements in cooperation with PocketMobile and comparing the available systems against the function requirements.The practical part deal with the development of a prototype that demonstrates the software recommended. The development tools that best matched the functionality requirements when the selection was made in May 2007 were Map24 and OpenLayers. The system that was selected to use while developing the prototype was Map24, because this product matches all of the requirements and it is also suited for professional usage regarding support, scalability and reliability.

In today?s industry it is starting to get more and more interesting with wireless systems and solutions for applications. To be able to reduce the amount of cables drawn to various machines which takes both space and an extra fee for every cable drawn. Some systems might require the user to use a handheld device that is directly connected by a cable which in some machines might be inelegant for the user.The goal with this bachelor thesis is to develop wireless monitoring of the machine operators position that is working with heavy industrial machinery. The thesis started out with researching different techniques for positioning a transmitter indoors, this was done in order to get a better understanding on how to go about.

The aim with this essay has been to see how students use drinking-songs and what function they have. I have also wanted to see how the traditions are carried on between the students. In order to do this, I have been observing three parties organised by three different student associations at Växjö University: Västkustens nation, Föreningarnas Festeri and Isterbandet. I have interviewed five people that have been attending the dinners. I have used Alan Merriam?s theory of use/function and made interpretations of his theory.

Informationssystem, i form av affärssystem eller liknande, används idag ofta för att effektivisera arbetet inom de funktioner som finns i ett företag. Användningen har spridit sig från att ursprungligen framför allt stödja logistik och planering inom produktion till att nu användas inom bland annat Human Resources (HR). En av aktiviteterna inom HR-funktionen är traditionellt sett rekrytering, något som företag nu eftersträvar att effektivisera med hjälp av e-Rekryteringssystem. Syftet med användningen av dessa system är följaktligen att effektivisera företagets rekryteringsförfarande och därmed även företaget i stort. Med detta i åtanke har vi valt att utföra en designvetenskaplig studie på ett sådant system.

Uppsatsens syfte är att försöka utreda en eventuell relation mellan mål- och uppköpsföretagets q-värden och aktieägarnas avkastning i samband med ett företagsförvärv, samt vilken relation som skapar störst aktieägaravkastning. Teorin kring Tobins q samt teorier kring aktieägarnas avkastning i samband med företagsförvärv och faktorer som påverkar denna ut-gör grund för uppsatsen. Henri Servaes artikel om företagsförvärv och Tobins q på den amerikanska marknaden fungerar som refe-rensstudie. En kvantitativ undersökningsmetod med hypotesprövning används i arbetet. Relationen mellan mål- och uppköpsföretagens q-värden och aktieägarnas avkastning analyseras med multipel regression.

In order to reach the environmental targets, set up by the EU, there are many measures taken to make Sweden more energy efficient. In the housing and real estate sector, an installation of an exhaust air heat pump that reuses the heat in the exhaust air in order to lower the amount of acquired energy, is an example of such an action. The recovered energy can then be used for heating of radiators and tap water. This report aims to evaluate and compare three different systems using exhaust air heat pumps regarding COP, degree of coverage and cost savings. This study was delimited to only account for apartment buildings.The theory chapter describes the different conditions and factors that affect a building?s energy balance.

Scientists argue that gender affects foreign policy and security policy, that ideas of gender are inconstant and that there is a lack of feminist perspectives in International Relations. The changes seen in the global security context may have challenged the way politicians and scientists understand war and its impacts, and led to increased gender awareness.Using securitization theory and feminist international relations theory, the aim is to examine how women and men are being spoken of in the Swedish foreign policy discourse regarding participation in the UN-led stabilization mission Minusma in Mali. By applying a feminist perspective on the securitization process, the intention is to increase the knowledge of whether there is gender awareness in this context.The result shows that there is limited gender awareness. There is minor consideration for the conflict?s different implications on the situation for women and men.

Syftet med denna studie är att utreda begreppen big data och analytics. Utifrån vetenskapliga teorier om begreppen undersöks hur konsultföretag uppfattar och använder sig av big data och analytics. För att skapa en nyanserad bild har även en organisation inom vården undersökts för att få kunskap om hur de kan dra nytta av big data och analytics. Ett antal viktiga svårigheter och framgångsfaktorer kopplade till båda begreppen presenteras. De svårigheterna kopplas sedan ihop med en framgångsfaktor som anses kunna bidra till att lösa det problemet.

Method: By using a multiple regression analysis examined with panel data from 13 European industrial countries for the period 1998 to 2004. The dependent variable youth unemployment is explained by five independent variables.

Offshoring, att ett företag delar av sin verksamhet till ett annat land, har blivit allt mer uppmärksammat, både av IT-företag och av fackpress. I denna uppsats har vi undersökt hur informanter vid tre företag i Sverige anser att deras företag har påverkats, organisatoriskt, efter det att de startade sin offshoring till Indien. Utöver detta har informanter vid kringliggande organisationer i den svenska IT-sektorn intervjuats för att ge sin syn på hur offshoring kan påverka den svenska IT-sektorn och dess företag. Resultatet av undersökningen visar att de undersökta företagen har påverkats genom förbättrade arbetsprocesser inom organisationen. Personal har omplacerats eller vidareutbildats inom organisationen.
