The Swedish working-class author Ivar Lo-Johansson (1901-1990) wrote a collection of one hundred short stories between the years 1968-1972. His other productions, generally speaking, have partially different social reform purposes, but, according to himself, these short stories were written with the intention to be totally free of tendencies (even though he himself doubted that he succeeded with this).During the same period that these short stories were published, the Swedish social democrats were under the challenge of radical movements that, mainly on the radical left?s ideological foundation, had a relatively strong influence in Sweden, among other countries, from the mid 1960?s to the late 1970?s. Since Lo-Johansson mainly seemed to have supported the politics of the social democrats, the purpose of the investigation in this thesis has been to see if he ? in the three short stories: Vikingakärlek (1970), Rikslögnaren (1971) and Ansgars resa till Sverige (1972) ? is conveying an ideological use of history and basic political values that were used by the social democratic party during this time period.

Examensarbetet har utförts vid Boliden Mineral AB dagbrott i Aitik under perioden 2011-03-28 till 2011-06-01. Syftet med examensarbetet var att göra en utvärdering av pallsprängning lutande borrhål för att se om fragmenteringen förbättrades. Dessutom studera andra effekter som påverkas av fragmentering, t.ex. antal icke hanterbara block (stenar större än 1m3), flöde i primär krossanläggning och grävbarhet. Studien genomfördes genom att en försökssalva sprängdes, där en del av borrhålen var vertikala och den andra delen bestod av lutande borrhål.

En börsnotering ger företag möjligheten att på ett effektivt sätt anskaffa kapital tillinvesteringar. I fastighetsbranschen har ofta investeringar en lång payback tid vilket innebäratt kapital är bundet under en längre period. För att rättfärdiga denna typ av investeringarkrävs det att företag är långsiktiga i sin planering och prioriterar långsiktig tillväxt. Dennalångsiktiga planering riskerar att åsidosättas på grund av olika omständigheter som kanuppkomma i ett börsnoterat fastighetsbolag. During the period after the Second World War Sweden underwent a quick transformation due to a strong economic development. Decades-long rule for the Social Democratic Party now led to the creation, in Sweden, of a modern welfare state. This period in Swedish history is often considered to be the time when ?the Swedish model? was formed. Tage Lindbom (1909?2001) was a historian and intellectual in the Swedish labor movement.

The intention of this thesis is, from a basic statistical viewpoint, to capture the relationship between the price of electricity and a sample of factors influencing the price. The thesis also aims at investigating whether knowledge about the relationship is useful when investing on Nord Pool. Tested factors are temperature, import, price of emission rights as well as a number of hydrological factors. The investigated period stretches from year 2000 until week 32 year 2007. The relevance of each factor was also evaluated yearly as well as for shorter periods in order to get a more comprehensive view of the relationship.

A severe profitability decline in sugar beet production in all of Europe is one of the consequences of the latest reform of the EU sugar regime. In south of Sweden, sugar beets is the crop that has been the most profitable by far for the last decade. The high profitability has contributed to the high rate of increase in the price of land and has restrained the structural change towards a more effective agriculture. Because of the reform, all sugar beet producers are facing diminishing income and must find ways to compensate this. The aim of this master thesis is to study how Swedish farmers adapt to the sugar beet reform. A questionnaire was sent to 354 randomly selected sugar beet producers.

Variationerna leder till effekttoppar i fjärrvärmesystemet, dessa är dyra för energibolaget som då tvingas starta sina spetslastanläggningar som oftast består av oljepannor.För att jämna ut effekttopparna i fjärrvärmenätet använder sig fjärrvärmebolagen i dagsläget av ackumulatortankar som värmebanker, dessa laddas ofta upp under natten då effektbehovet från nätet är lägre. De är även dyra att införskaffa samt att de kräver driftunderhåll. Genom att använda sig av redan befintliga värmebanker i fjärrvärmenätet kan man undvika att investera i ytterligare ackumulatortankar.Genom att utnyttja redan befintlig teknik kan man använda flerbostadshus som virtuella värmebanker.

Idag riktas allt mer fokus i samhällsdebatten och i politiken på personer medallvarlig psykisk sjukdom. Man debatterar dels hur samhället skall kunna tillhandahålla enhögkvalitativ vård och ett bra omhändertagande, men också ur ett samhällsekonomisktperspektiv. Den psykiatriska slutenvårdens kostnader är höga och debatten handlar ofta omhur dessa kostnader skall kunna reduceras.Denna studie vill titta närmare på om metoden Case management enligtAssertive Community Treatment (ACT) kan bidra till att den psykiatriskaslutenvårdskonsumtionen minskar för personer med allvarlig psykisk sjukdom. För attgranska detta har intervjuer med fyra brukare använts där frågeställningen var fokuserad påderas subjektiva upplevelser av att erhålla Case management enligt ACT under en period avtre år. Vidare granskades skattningar enligt Kvalitetsstjärnan som utförts under en tre årsperiod.

It begins with the foundation of the library of Ulricehamn and a historical background to it. It follows with the definitions of the public library and a historical background to the public library in Sweden. Then we present the goal of the public library in general and the goal of Ulricehamn's city library.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att få en bild över hur en controller arbetar i ett medelstort företag. Studien har genomförts med en fallstudie av två företag över en tre veckors period. Studien visar att controllers i medelstora företag har många olika arbetsuppgifter. Controllern tenderar att arbeta med redovisning och den framtida styrningen av företaget har en lägre prioritet. Hursomhelst har vi funnit att en controller i ett medelstort företag har fler arbetsuppgifter än vad litteraturen beskriver att en controller har.

Ethanol for automotive purposes is an issue much debated and researchers disagree about the benefits of bioethanol. Converting energy-rich crops into ethanol suitable as motor fuel is a complex process and continuous development and improvements of processes and material used are important steps in the work of developing environmental friendly fuels. Grain is usually preserved by drying which consumes a lot of energy. Alternative storage of high-moisture grain in airtight storage systems reduce the energy required to produce bioethanol and studies have also shown that ethanol yields are increased more than 10% in ethanol fermentations of moist grain compared to dry. Airtight storage is often not perfectly airtight so biocontrol agents are necessary in order to preserve the grain.

Modern milk production have come a long way when it comes to accommodating the nutritional and physiological needs of the animals, but unfortunately the behavioural and psychological needs of cows and heifers are often left unfulfilled. A long time for eating is beneficial for the digestion and also gives the cattle something to do and decreases the risks for developing abnormal behaviours. An important factor that influences eating- and ruminating time is the particle size of the roughage. The aim of the study was to find out if particle size influences the behaviour of dairy heifers, in particular with regard to eating behaviour and abnormal behaviours. The study was conducted at Uddetorp farm high school in Skara. Forty-two heifers of the breeds SR and SF were housed in 8 slatted floor pens.
