Respekt och förståelse för val och önskningar ska leda till självbestämmande och delaktighet i vård och behandling. Implementering av ett personcentrerat synsätt förordas för att möta de förväntningar som finns på god vård där patienten kan vara trygg och känna tilltro till vården. Att utvärdera personcentrerad vård är viktigt för att visa hur grundläggande behov som trygghet och tillit tillgodoses vid en förändrad vårdmodell. Syftet med studien var att belysa faktorer i personcentrerad vård som påverkar patientens upplevelse av trygghet och tillit.

The study aims to give an understanding of theneed and demand for bicycle parking spaces today, as well as to determine how these canbe met according to different theories. Bachelor thesis, Trolley Innovation Project, has been unique in the sense that it has been carried out over the borders of Sweden. Iacobucci S.p.A, located outside of Rome in Italy is one of the largest manufacturers of interior equipment for aircraft in the world. With approximately 30% of the market Iacobucci S.p.A is one of the world's largest manufacturers of catering trolleys.The aim has been to produce a new competitive catering trolley for the airline industry. With customers and users in focus, the project team found that weight, ease of use, ergonomics and design were important aspects. Having a low weight of all the interior is particularly important when there is lots of money for the airlines to save in reduced fuel costs.

Background: Animals have been shown to have a positive effect on people. The nursing science approach says that a person can experience well-being despite illness. The positive attributes of animals can be used in health care to help ill people experience well-being. An animal-assisted intervention can be a form of activity or therapy involving pets (AAA / AAT) or horses (EAT).Aim: The purpose of this study was to elucidate how animals in health care promote well-being for people with long-term illness.Methods: Literature review based on fourteen original scientific articles, with both qualitative and quantitative approach.Results: The compilation of the results led to four main categories with two subcategories respectively. This final project discusses renewal and upgrading of the area of Prim. It is discussed how this industrial area can be an attractive neighborhood with a varied range of services and commercial trade. Prim is located 2km north-east of the center of Barcelona. The area boarders to a deep railway valley that historically has separated Prim from its neighboring districts. At present there is almost no housing, services or commercial trade within the area and the industry is discontinued or the existing industrial buildings are derelict. There is also a lack of green recreational areas.

Abstract One of the leading causes of food borne infections in the world is due to Salmonella by con-suming poultry products including eggs and meat. According to US Food and Drug Admin-istration (2009), 2 to 4 million cases of Salmonellosis in humans occur every year only in US. Salmonella causes wide range of diseases with enteric and typhoid fever, food poisoning, di-arrhea and gastro-enteritis. Many serotypes of Salmonella do not have host specificity and cause disease in all kinds of animals and humans. Salmonella has capability to modify accord-ing to the changing environment and it can develop resistance against routine elimination practices of sanitation, chemical treatments and antibacterial drugs. Newly established poultry industries in Pakistan are confronting various infectious diseases including Salmonellosis while in Sweden Salmonella prevalence in animal products con-sumed for humans is extremely low.

This paper presents the result of a master thesis project at 30 Hp, master of industrial engineering at Luleå University of Technology. The project was performed during 20 weeks, spring 2014, in collaboration with ABB Control Products in Västerås. The aim of the project was to evaluate two half-automated assembly lines for a new generation of contactors, the NAFC assembly lines (New AF Conductor). The aim and purpose of the project was achieved by answering the following questions:? How are the ergonomic working conditions at the NAFC assembly lines during spring 2014?? Which areas at NAFC assembly lines can be improved for the work environment?? How can the ergonomic work conditions improve at the NAFC assembly lines?Literature reviews were performed from earlier research papers and articles of the ergonomic, musculoskeletal and work environment subject, from where a number of chosen methods and tools were used to perform the ergonomic evaluation.

This is a thesis presents a differential gear which is found in a tracked vehicle called BvS10. The tracked vehicle is manufactured by BAE Systems Hägglunds AB in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. The differential gear has a bolted house. The differential meets the requirement specifications, but the problem is that the bolts are sheared off because of the extreme torque that the differential is exposed to resist.Previous report on the differential show pictures of bolts which have been sheared off at the threads. This report is also includes three lists that explain seven different proposals which some are approved and some are not, and the report also presents the force, tensile, and shear stress.In a bolted connection there is both axial tension stress and radial shear stress, which can lead to wear out and broken bolts.

Aim: To examine how midwives describe good and safe postpartum care of mothers with infants in neonatal care, and which prerequisites and obstacles they see to giving good and safe care while minimizing time of separation. Method: Semi structured qualitative interviews with ten midwives at two maternity wards in Uppsala. The interviews were recorded, transcribed verbatim and processed by manifest analysis. Results: Three categories were identified, Good and safe care, Organization as an obstacle and The midwife role. Good and safe postpartum care of mothers with infants in neonatal care required knowledge, appropriate equipment, good guidelines, possibility to see the mother, contact between mother and infant and good collaboration between the maternity and neonatal wards.

Bakgrund: WHO:s checklista är avsedd för operationskliniker världen över som vill reducera komplikationer i samband med operativa ingrepp. Studier har visat att checklistan inte bara förbättrade patientsäkerheten utan också bidrog till bättre teamarbete och kommunikation mellan personal. Få studier finns om hur patienter som är vakna under operation påverkas av att man använder checklista. Syfte: Syftet med denna pilotstudie var att belysa hur ett antal operationssjuksköterskor upplevde att använda checklistan inför vaken patient. Metod: En pilotstudie med kvalitativ ansats där datainsamlingen genomfördes i form av halvstrukturerade intervjuer med tre operationssjuksköterskor.

The project has been performed at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB?s service department. The company which is located in Finspång produces, sells and provides service for steam and gas turbines around the world.The purpose of this project is to help Siemens develop their maintenance programs for two of the auxiliary systems which are a part of the complete steam turbine system. These are lube and control oil systems.The project is restricted to two of Siemens maintenance products, No Stop Check (NSC) and the annual Safety Inspection (SI).
