Ett gott inomhusklimat är viktigt för att prestationsförmågan ska hålla sig på en bra nivå. Små avvikelser i ventilationen kan medföra besvär som till exempel trötthet, huvudvärk och försämrade koncentrationssvårigheter. Elever på V-sektionen vid Chalmers tekniska högskola har upplevt bristande inomhusklimat i framförallt de stora föreläsningssalarna där många föreläsningar hålls för ett stort antal människor. Syftet med detta projekt var att kartlägga i vilket skick inomhusklimatet var i dessa salar och vad det fanns för möjliga åtgärder att vidta för att göra det bättre. För att kartlägga klimatet har det bland annat gjorts mätningar av koldioxidhalt och temperatur under föreläsningstid samtidigt som studiebesök har gjorts för att få fram underlag så som reglerparametrar och driftkort för ventilationssystem.

Syftet med undersökningen är att analysera varifrån nyheterna har sitt ursprung och hur återanvändandet av nyheter ser ut i fyra av de största riksmedierna under en arbetsvecka.De fyra medier som ingår i undersökningen är Svenska Dagbladet, Dagens Nyheter, Sveriges Televisions Rapport och Sveriges Radios Ekot. I undersökningen ingår 356 analysenheter och det är en kvantitativ undersökning. För att förstå och analysera resultatet har teorierna gatekeeping, mediernas kommersialisering och nyhetsvärdering använts.Undersökningens resultat visade bland annat att 27 procent av analysenheterna består av köpt eller kopierat material från nyhetsbyråer eller material som är omskrivet från andra medier. Undersökningen visar också att det är stora skillnader mellan olika medietyper. Den största andelen material från nyhetsbyråer kom från tidningarna Dagens Nyheter och Svenska Dagbladet (såväl procentuellt som i absoluta tal).

The purpose of this master thesis is to construct a steering transmission, for a trackedvehicle, containing two hydraulic circuits which are connected. The steeringtransmission should be mechanical to avoid steer-by-wire.BAE Systems Hägglunds has in an earlier study examined a system with two hydraulicpumps and one hydraulic motor, but the safety of the system wasn?t sufficient.To achieve sufficient redundancy there must be two hydraulic motors, which arecontrolled separately. When the two systems are connected in one point, this point is acritical part of the system because it directly affects both circuits. If one of the hydrauliccircuits fails the other should be able to operate independently as a steeringtransmission.

The division of Electricity at Uppsala University is developing a wave energy converter(WEC) consisting of a linear generator connected to a bouy at the water surfacethrough a wire cable called the connection line.During extreme conditions, the wave power plant will experience forces up to 500kN, which lead to unnecessary wear and will ultimately cause the failure of theconverter. To prevent this there is a need for a damper.The wave energy converter works at a maximum efficiency when the translator?sare centered with respect to the stator. Due to tidal movements the position of thetranslator can deviate. There for a mechanical divice that will compensate for this isneeded.This report describes the further development of an earlier project where a tidalwave compensator for a wave energy converter of Seabased AB was developed.

This report shows the process of the development of a sensor module for the seed drills of Väderstad Verken AB. The module is supposed to replace existing solutions, provided that it is better from both a constructional- and an economical aspect. The purpose of the sensor is to continuously give the driver information about the level of height of the front- and drilling tools and the main purpose of the sensor is to allow the seeds to be placed at the desired depth. The purpose of this essay was to find out whether the students, which had moved from the school of Gustaf Adolf to the school of Elineberg, had been integrated into their new environment. We chose to analyze the degree of integration concerning their schoolwork, how they interacted with the students from the new school, the school of Elineberg, and their level of wellbeing in their new school. We have used two methods, surveys and interviews, to be able to obtain the general picture of how the integration of the students has succeeded.Our conclusions are that the student has adapted well in their new school despite many obstacles along the way. Our essay shows that the students get along well with their new school friends during class, but they don´t socialise in their spear time. Although they seem to have accepted the closure of their old school some students express that they wish the school would be reopened.

The study aims to illustrate how women victims of male violence in intimate relationships are treated during the legal process and with professional perspective describe what women?s experiences considered to be in the legal process. The study also aims to draw attention to the interventions for abused women during the legal process.The results are based on interviews with professionals in the justice system, and on observations in the courtroom. Overall our results show that abused women are in need of a great quantity of help and support before, during and after the negotiation. The legal process is very stressful for the women.

We have a business proposal. Instead of the consumers visit the country side in order to purshase we are interested in starting a shop with only regional produced products in the city. We have our base in a part of Sweden called Östergötland, therefore we have investigated the market for such a store in Östergötlands biggest city, called Linköping. The conclusion is that the store must sell food produced in the region. Another conlusion is that the store must be located near a bigger supermarket. Our main selling points are quality and that the food is produced in the near region.

The number of women in Swedish firms of accountant is not lower then the number of men, but when we compared the number of chartered auditors, the number of women are low compared to men. This is connected to the public debate that is mainly emphasising that there are no differences between men and women and therefore the sexes should be treated equal. The method used is a qualitative study and the primary data was collected through interviews. The respondents consist of members, women as well as men, from eighteen auditors in Malmö and Kristianstad. The result shows that both male and female characters are needed in the work on the firm of accountants.

Det här examensarbetet undersöker möjligheten att detektera kolvens läge inuti hydraulcylindrar genom ultraljudsmätningar. Metoden går ut på att fästa en piezoelektrisk givare på cylindern och sända ultraljudspulser in i cylindern och sedan läsa av de ekon som uppkommer på grund av reflexioner mot olika impedansförändringar och därur bestämma läget på kolven.Metodundersökningen har bestått av datorsimuleringar i programmet COMSOL Multiphysics som används till att simulera fysikaliska förlopp med finita elementmetoder. Rapporten innehåller två simuleringar där den första är enklare att beräkna och att analysera och den andra mer verklighetsnära och komplex, vilket innebär mer tidskrävande beräkningar.I simuleringarna finner man att cylinderns geometri är att likna med en tunn platta, med vågformer som hör där till och att under de gjorda antagandena ska det vara möjligt att på detta sätt detektera kolvläget. Detta motsägs dock av gjorda mätningar på liknande objekt.Att resultatet skiljer sig åt mellan simuleringar och mätningar kan bero på flera saker som skillnad i centerfrekvens, 300 kHz - 500 kHz, i simuleringar, jämfört med 2,25 MHz i mätningar. Det kan också vara så att de förenklingar och antaganden som gjorts för att inte simuleringarna skulle bli för resurskrävande har varit för grova för att man ska få ett tillförlitligt resultat.För framtiden rekommenderas fler simuleringar med olika centerfrekvens och detaljstudier av förenklingarna för att se hur de påverkar resultatet.

From an early age kids learn that their good performance and efforts will be rewarded. Unfortunately, not all leaders in the media industry are rewarded or given the same opportunities to exercise their communicative leadership, according to studies in media research. The aim of our study is to highlight female managers' experiences of their communicative leadership in the Swe-dish media industry. This study was based on qualitative interviews with four female respondents in management positions. The core of the study concerns female communicative leadership and interpersonal communication.
