Abstract 1.The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects whole body vibrations on maximal strength, power output and neuromuscular activity in m. pectoralis major during bench press.Participants consisted of 35 male and 9 female military high school students (m=23, 1 years). On the basis of initial maximal performances in bench press the participants was divided into two experiments groups and one control group. Intervention groups performed a specifically designed push up program on a vibrating plate respectively a step board during 12 weeks Initial load at 60 % of 1 RM showed an average of 46, 5 kg. All groups showed an average increase of 13 kg for each person after 12 weeks.

Att sammylla en startgiva av växtnäring tillsammans med utsädet vid sådd skulle kunna göra så att plantan växer till sig fortare och kan på så sätt klara sig bättre mot sjukdomar, insekter och konkurrera mer med ogräs. En tidig utveckling av plantan brukar även bidra till en högre skörd.

This study aims to analyze the risks with building new households between railroads and shore, the focus of the study lays on Öbacka strand in Umeå municipality. The study also investigate if a land use conflict has taken place and how it was handled.The paper is based on different documents that was central for the work of planning the households and some interviews with operators that was highly involved with the planning of the area.The results shows that there is several risks with establishing new household between railroads and shores. Mainly because of the exposure of noise from the railways, though the risk for impact on the living environment for animals were low in this case there is a generally risk that it could get negative effects. It also a very important that the availability to the shore is secured. Planning in this type of area involves a great number of operators can easily cause a conflict due to the different perspectives on how the land should be used in the future, and also because of protecting different interests.

Denna rapport är ett inledande steg mot att förbättra arbetsmiljön för svetsare vid påsvetsning med Uddcomb Metoden i massakokare. Syftet med rapporten är att analysera problemet med värme och dålig luft samt förklara hur och varför problemet uppstår. I arbetet ingår även att ta fram olika lösningar för att slutligen hitta ett komplett system för ventilation och kylning. Den föreslagna lösningen består av ett integrerat kylsystem och ett koncept med mindre fläktar, kallade torpeder, som monteras på arbetsplanen vilka driver ut varm och smutsig luft snabbare ur kokaren. Den föreslagna lösningen utreds även ur ett ekonomiskt perspektiv.

Examensarbetet går ut på att frambringa några principkonstruktioner till axialfläktar med fasta inställbara skovlar åtFläktWoods. Fläktarna det rör sig om är stora industrifläktar med en diameter mellan en och fem meter, som används för atttill exempel transportera ner luft i gruvor. Endast förslag till principkonstruktioner tas fram och ej en färdig produkt, syftetmed rapporten är i första hand att ge FläktWoods konstruktörer ett annat synsätt på problemet. Två olika delar av fläktenundersöks, dels fästet av skoveln på hjulet, dels själva hjulet i sig. Tillvägagångssättet är att från formulerat problem tasförst några förslag fram, de utvärderas sedan och de bästa går vidare till nästa steg.

En fordonsförare som under större delen av sin arbetsdag kör på ibland väldigt ojämna vägar, utsätts för skadliga nivåer som man inte alltid tänker på. Detta examensarbete kommer att behandla utvecklingsprocessen för ett system som kan överföra data från en vibrationsmätare till en mobiltelefon för analys och presentation av mätvärden. Genom att använda sig av detta system kan fordonsföraren lättare hålla koll på vad han utsätter sig för under en arbetsdag. Detta torde leda till en lägre vibrationsexponering bland annat genom en försiktigare körning, något som i slutändan kommer att gynna även eventuella passagerare.
