Allanblackia is a tree genus native to humid forests in West, Central and East Africa. Its fruits contain large seeds from which edible high-quality fat can be extracted. In order to create a sustainable supply chain of Allanblackia seeds, a domestication program has been initiated with the purpose to enable smallholder farmers to grow the tree as an agroforestry component and cash crop. More knowledge is required to understand the tree?s biology and possible symbioses involving soil microorganisms with plant growth enhancing poten-tial.

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze four educators? views and experiences of working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in relation to the concept of "One school for all". Research has shown that a segregating perspective is Dominant in the school system, but the education act says that all children have a right to an equal education.My starting point for this study has been the concept of term "One school for all" and the problems that can occur in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. A school for all is a school where all children are welcome and where all children sees as equals regardless of what background or disability they have. This study will be important for newly graduated teachers who are not aware of Autism Spectrum disorders.

The purpose of the study is to find out how some teachers in Kenya reason about children in need of special support. To undertake the study the following question are used:How do some teachers in Kenya reason about children in need of special support?The study has been made with qualitative interviews in Kenya. A total of four teachers at primary school level have been interviewed. The decision to do qualitative interviews is made by the opportunity to get as comprehensive answers as possible from the respondents' reason about children in need of special support.Three different kinds of special education perspectives have been used in this study.

Det övergripande syftet med studien var att kartlägga attityder och åsikter kring användningen av svenska och engelska inom engelsksundervisningen på gymnasiet. Studien bestod av två delstudier; en vars syfte var att redogöra för lärarnas åsikter och attityder till undervisningsspråket i engelskundervisningen, deras användning av svenska och engelska under engelsklektionerna samt hur de tolkade läroplanens direktiv om språkbruket. Den andra delstudien syftade till att redogöra för elevernas attityder och åsikter till bruket av undervisningsspråket samt deras uppskattade användning av svenska och engelska under lektionerna. Studierna genomfördes med hjälp av två enkätundersökningar som besvarades av 29 engelsklärare och 253 gymnasieelever vid totalt nio olika gymnasieskolor i en mellanstor stad i Sverige. Resultaten visade att lärarna och eleverna var positivt inställda till ett Dominant målspråksanvändande i engelskundervisningen samt att samtal om betyg och bedömning var ett sammanhang där båda parterna ofta använde svenska.

I vår kvalitativa undersökning har vi utifrån observationer av ett grupparbete studerat elevers interaktion. Våra forskningsfrågor gällande roller, förhållningssätt och kommunikativa strategier har varit grunden för vår analys. Vi observerade en grupp elever i årskurs 4 vid två tillfällen. Under observationerna använde vi oss av videokamera och kompletterade med loggboksanteckningar. Filminspelningarna och anteckningarna bearbetades och intressanta sekvenser valdes ut som transkriberades.

The study has got three aims. The first purpose is to implement the Newman et al.s rampage theory (2004) in a more Dominant European context. In this way, the theory?s strengths and weaknesses can be exposed. The second objective is to look at the motive.

This paper concerns the divide between secularist and anti-secularist groups in Turkey, which is related to a greater antagonism between a Kemalist and an Islamic political discourse, Dominant in Turkish politics since the 1980s. The main aim of the paper is to analyse the causes of the conflict using the discourse theory of Laclau and Mouffe. The second aim is to analyse the contents of each discourse and identify the main points of conflict between them. The empirical material used in the study consists exclusively of secondary sources treating the topic, and these are analysed using the theory of identity conflicts, which is part of Laclau and Mouffe's theory. It will be argued that the attempts of Kemalism to impose strict secularism by hegemonising the concepts of ?modernity? and ?Islam? led to the creation of an alternative political discourse based on political Islam.

Virulent strains of Staphylococcus hyicus produce exfoliative toxins and cause a potentially fatal skin disease in piglets known as exudative epidermitis. Vaccines and antimicrobials are used to control the disease. Antimicrobial resistance and the prevalence of several different toxin genes and toxigenic strains make it problematic. The aim of this literature study was to identify potential differences between countries and between healthy and diseased pigs regarding antimicrobial resistance and toxin-producing strains. Great differences could influence vaccine production, treatment strategies and surveillance programs.

Evaluating and choosing suppliers based on price alone, has traditionally been the Dominant strategy for supplier selection within the purchasing function. With the origin of the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)-concept in the early 1990s, a new philosophy dawned that promoted the importance of knowing the effects of supplier performance on the buying firm?s internal costs. Since then, scholars have been arguing the case of TCO as a viable model for making purchasing decisions and conducting supplier evaluation. Still, after two decades little is known about its penetration and impact on the practices of buying corporations, leaving the questions of which costs are included in the purchasing organisations? decisions unanswered, and even more importantly why certain costs are considered and others not.

Fairy tales are commonly considered to be both timeless and classless. Since the 17th century, when most of the tales we have access to today were first collected and published, the idea that fairy tales are part of an oral tradition, and therefore more or less uninfluenced by academic and literary trends, have been Dominant amongst researchers, critics and readers. This idea needs to be revaluated. Even if the tales might have their roots in an oral tradition the history of the fairy tale ?is not primarily a history of oral transmission, but rather a history of print?, as Elizabeth Wanning Harries puts it (Wanning Harries, 2001:4).

Trafficking in human beings and prostitution is an increasing occurrence within the EU. However, vast differences in legal frameworks regarding prostitution can be detected among member states.The Netherlands is an example where prostitution is regarded a legal activity. In other member states legal standings toward prostitution remain ambivalent, where Sweden here serves an example. Finally, Lithuania is among member states where prostitution is considered illegal.The purpose of this paper is therefore to study underlying attitudes and approaches that these three countries have in this rather delicate political question. By interpreting the content and quoting parts of propositions, an ideology analysis is constructed.The theory chapter consists of Rousseau?s theories, Objectivism, Radical Feminist Theory, and Sex-positive Feminist Theory.

Syfte ? Syftet med denna uppsats är att få ökad förståelse över varför kunder väljer att använda självbetjäningstjänster (SBTs) och vilken påverkan detta har på kundens roll i användandet.Design/metod/tillvägagångssätt ? Studien har en kvalitativ ansats och genomfördes med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Totalt har 31 kunder intervjuats på IKEA i Kungens Kurva, Stockholm angående deras användning och upplevelse av SBTs.Slutsats ? Studien visar flera olika faktorer som påverkar kundernas användning av SBTs till exempel dess tillgänglighet och enkelhet. Kunderna upplever deras förändrade kundroll som tyngre än tidigare och deras inställning till företaget förändras på grund av SBTs.Studiens begränsningar ? Studien har för få antal respondenter för att generalisera resultaten och vi har enbart studerat en bransch och ett företag.

Over the past twenty years, the cooperation within the European Union (EU) has strengthened and expanded with both more number of Member States and stronger influence on international politics. The unique character of the Union and its ability to enforce peace and humanitarian intervention has attracted attention in political science. This prominent position of the Union is perceived by many scholars who often hold this derived from the Union's influence in international relations. Various terms have been used to define the powers of the Union. The British researcher Ian Manners states that the unique identity of the Union in the international arena is formed by its normative power.  An important policy area within the Union is the environmental cooperation.

Denna magisteruppsats har för avsikt att öka kunskapen kring de varumärkesstrategier som brukas i varumärkesportföljer. Uppsatsen undersöker om varumärkesstrategier är ett fungerande verktyg i den rationaliserings- samt effektiviseringsprocess som råder inom dagligvaruhandeln. Åtta kvalitativa intervjuer har genomförts med dryckesansvariga på ICA, Coop samt Axfoods butiker i Lund och Helsingborg. Vidare har tre dryckesansvariga på centralnivå intervjuats på respektive företag. Undersökningen visade att varumärkesstrategier har en stor betydelse i den eskalerande konkurrensen om hyllplats.

The aim of this paper is to elucidate and analyze history teacher's didactic choices in the conflict between unequal educational materials and the requirements of equality in the curriculum of Swedish secondary school. The empirical data consists of interviews with five secondary school history teachers, observations of their lessons as well as analysis of their tests. The starting point was to investigate teachers' didactic work in the role as a bridge between the non-equal historiography presented in textbooks in history and the curriculum?s demands for equality. Three different approaches have been observed in the teachers' didactic work when considering gender perspective into their teaching: that women become extensions in a male-dominated historiography; that another part of the story is presented when a gender perspective is considered; and that the gender perspective is included in history teaching and becomes an integral part of all the content of the subject.Several of the teachers acknowledged that gender equality is less prioritized than the courses core content and related assessment criteria.
