The aim of this study is to examine the media coverage of gender-neutral marriage from an intersectional perspective ? with particular regard to gender, sexual orientation and religion. By focusing on the spokespeople who appears in the articles we have made an attempt to answer questions regarding who was heard in the debate on gender-neutral marriage and how the homosexual couples are portrayed in relation to the above criteria.The collected material consists of 89 articles, published in 2009, in Swedish newspapers which have been analysed by using quantitative content analysis. Ten articles have also been selected for a critical discourse analysis based on Norman Fairclough?s approach.

The aim of this paper is to empirically examine the ideological trends and positioning of the Swedish liberal party with the Danish social liberal party. This paper also aims to analyze the reasons behind the trends. By examine the development in these two Nordic liberal sisterparties, this paper contributes to our understanding of why and how party change is initiated. The paper commences with an intuitive notion that the Swedish party has in fact, made a lurch towards the right, during the past ten to fifteen years while the Danish party has retained their social-liberal position in the centre of the Danish political spectrum. The questions then asked are: can this hypothesis be verified empirically? If so, how can this phenomenon of divergence, be explained?The method used in this thesis is process-tracing and the empirical material does to a large extent rely on interviews with central agents as they are specified in the theory of each party.

Jag har i min undersökning sökt ta reda på hur elever i skolår fem och sex och ett antal lärare ser på undervisningen i matematik. Hur kan matematiksvårigheter ta sig i uttryck och vad beror dessa på? Detta är två frågeställningar som är viktiga i min rapport. Genom att 54 elever fick besvara en enkät under lugna omständigheter i klassrummet där jag själv var närvarande och presenterade mitt arbete, tror jag mig ha fått tillförlitlig data från eleverna som en grund till denna studie. Därutöver fick åtta lärare besvara en enkät och några intervjufrågor att besvara utan att de sinsemellan utbytte åsikter om.

I den här uppsatsen har jag gjort en tematisk läsning av de dystopiska ungdomstrilogierna Hungerspelstrilogin, Divergenttrilogin och Legendtrilogin, vilket jag har gjort med fokus på temat kosmetika och utsmyckning. Syftet var att undersöka de genusmönster som existerar kring kosmetikan och utsmyckningen, liksom dess förhållande till klass och ålder.Jag kommer i uppsatsen fram till att kosmetika och utsmyckning bärs frivilligt av överklass och onda karaktärer och att det tvingas på de flickor, och i viss mån även de pojkar, som är böckernas huvudpersoner. Böckerna tycks bekräfta åsikten att kosmetikan är något förkastligt och påtvingat av patriarkatet. Tvånget kommer dock i böckerna inte enbart ifrån patriarkatet utan också från överklassen. Uppdelningen mellan vad som är okej för flickor och pojkar att bära ser i stort sett likadan ut som i dagens samhälle, trots framtidsskildringens möjligheter att måla upp något nytt.

The purpose of this study is to illustrate if structural factors to welfare indicators and the internal organisation of handle social assistance in combination with dominating ways of living with their values and norms can be used to explain why the costs of social assistance are low in Säffle township. The character of this study is exploratory, though important aspects in this case was unknown. The empiricism come from descriptive secondary statistics and from qualitative interwievs with three inhabitants in Säffle, whom are experts which means they know the township of Säffle and it´s inhabitants well. Säffle has been studied from four perspectives, of which the first two have a top- or macroperspective. In the study appears two Divergent pictures.

Detta är ett 20 poängs examensarbete utfört under 2004 vid Luleå tekniska universitet i samarbete med MRM konsult AB. Examensarbetet ingår som avslutning på civilingenjörsutbildningen Samhällsbyggnadsteknik med inriktning geografisk informationsteknik (GIT). Examensarbetet syftar till att ta fram en modell för att i ett geografiskt informa-tionssystem (GIS) hålla samman miljöinformation kopplat till ett geografiskt område. Med miljöinformation menas de rapporter, anteckningar, protokoll, analysresultat, kartor, fotografier m.m. som tas fram i och med att en plats undersöks för eventuell sanering.

Medvetenheten att det krävs kreativitet för att nå framgång är idag stor. Trotts medvetenheten har företag svårt med implementeringen av kreativitet på daglig basis och få jobbar aktivt med att öva upp sitt eget kreativa tänkande. Kreativitet kräver kontinuerligt jobb med det kreativa tänkandet, träning krävs för att lyckas göra nya kopplingar, associera ihop till synes ologiska ämnesområden och finna samband.I dag finns det kreativa övningar som är framtagna för att stimulera kreativitet, öva upp växelvis Divergent- och konvergent tänkande och generera unika idéer. Problemet är att övningarna används alldeles för sällan, få använder dem av egen fri vilja och att de oftast är primärt konstruerade för att användas i grupp vilket inte alltid finns tillfälle för.Denna rapport visar hur jag, Linn Westanbäck, genom en strukturerad process med ovisst utfall har arbetat fram idéer och ramar för en produkt med stor marknadspotential som stimulerar kreativitet med målet ett slutgiltigt produktkoncept.Projektet har resulterat i Ideawalk- en mobilapplikation som vägleder dig till att generera unika idéer, en vidareutveckling av den beprövade kreativa övningen Tankepromenad. Användandet av teknik som finns eller kan implementeras i dagens mobiltelefoner har möjliggjort ny konstruktion.

This essay contains a discoursive analysis of fifteen travel reports from five of the largest papers in Sweden. The travel reports contains recaptions from wildlife tourism experiences were the predators are the main target, or at least one of the main targets. Seven of the reports are from Sweden and eight of them from Russia, Rumania, Finland, Turkey and the United States. Predators in this essay aims to those in Sweden called ?the big five?, these are: bears, wolves, lynxes , wolverines and golden eagles.

Farmers Cooperative has in recent years developed from national markets to cross-border, international, collaborations. One example is the merger between the Swedish dairy company Arla and Danish MD Foods, where the companies collectively are sought to reduce transaction costs and thus improve efficiency. The Swedish market for commodities (fertilizers and pesticides) in agriculture has for many years been dominated by a few large players, with little opportunity for grain associations and local grain companies to offer their customers a varied range of commodities with a competitive pricing.To change this state, a majority of Swedish and Danish grain associations and local grain companies have established a trans-national cooperation. Through the establishment of the organization DLA Agro, they offer their customers a good variety of products with competitive prices. This study investigates thus according to the theory of cooperative models to what extent and how the DLA Agro helps to create benefits for the Swedish member companies.

ABSTRACTBjelkenbrant, Pernilla, 2006: ANC-galan i Göteborg 1985: en analys av sången Soweto som politisk mobilisering (The ANC gala in Gothenburg in 1985: an analysis of the song Soweto as a means of political mobilisation)The political scientists Abdul Karim Bangura, Ove Nordenmark and Tor Sellström, all believe that there, during the 1980s, existed a strong and unified ?Swedish? attitude against the South African apartheid system, and Sellström points out that this position had a strong anchorage in the ANC gala in Gothenburg in 1985. Over the past few years, singing has been identified as playing a crucial role in the struggle against apartheid. The aim of this study is twofold: firstly it presents a comprehensive discussion on how song is generally considered a tool of political mobilisation, secondly it discusses how that process can be applied to the ANC-gala. Consequently, the theoretical discussion constitutes the initial part of the study.
