Bakgrund: Företag som distribuerar varor till kund kan tillämpa antingen direkta eller indirekta försäljningskanaler, såsom centralt styrda enheter och franchising. Fördelar med franchising är en ökad tillväxttakt såväl som att franchisetagaren genom att satsa eget kapital motiveras att driva butiken så bra som möjligt vilket även gynnar franchisegivaren. Fördelar med centralt styrda enheter å andra sidan är standardisering, vilket lättare uppnås vid högre kontroll som kan återfinnas i centralt styrda organisationer där beslutsvägarna är kortare. Att tillämpa en distribution genom centralt styrda enheter ger även stordriftsfördelar genom exempelvis gemensamma inköp. För att öka kunskapen om fördelar och nackdelar med olika distributionsstrategier anser vi att det är intressant att studera hur distributionen påverkar ett företags anställda.

Vår webbapplikation skulle skilja sig från redan befintliga lösningar genom att den enkelt skulle kunna anpassas för olika kunder snabbt och effektivt. Detta skulle vi uppnå genom att bygga webbapplikationen kring moduler som alla hade olika funktioner på plattformen, och kunde bytas ut med en knapptryckning. I projektet jobbade vi kring konceptet "från produktion till distribution" med vilket vi menar att både kan producera den bästa webb-tv:n samt ha den smidigaste lösningen för distribution som de flesta kunderna skulle ha råd med. På dagens marknad så är antingen lösningarna för enkla och avskalade eller för anpassade och dyra för att passa den normala kunden, med en normal kund så avser vi ett företag med cirka 10-100 anställda.

Eutrophication of lakes and streams are nowadays a well known environmental problem and implies an enrichment of the nutrients phosphorus (P) and nitrogen (N). Phosphorus is considered to be the most important component for the growth of aquatic plants and leads in too large quantities to an intensification of growth. Phosphate (PO4) is the fraction of phosphorus that can easiest be taken up by plants and thus have the greatest impact on eutrophication. Increased plant growth in lakes and unfavorable conditions for aquatic animals are two examples of negative consequences. A significant portion of the increased nutrient supply to nearby water can be derived to phosphate leaching from agricultural areas, where private sewers and agriculture is two main sources.

De levererar affärsystemlösningar och tjänster till företag inom hälsovård, tillverkning, distribution, underhåll och service.Grundsystemet i Lawsons affärssystem består av en mängd mindre applikationer som körs mot ett egenutvecklat system. Vad jag ska göra är att undersöka möjligheten att övervaka dessa applikationer genom en smartphone och bygga en prototyp för övervakningen i Java, för Android.Applikationen mottogs positivt av Lawson och det finns redan planer på vidare utveckling av den efter exjobbets avslut..

Clinicians in veterinary practice have responsibilities for the development of global antibiotic resistance. In some cases, antibiotics are contraindicated or even useless in wound treatments and therefore other options are needed. Antiseptics may be another option but their use are controversial and may be questioned by owners. As professionals, it may be very difficult to be able to motivate this choice of treatment. The aim of this paper is to gain knowledge about four antiseptics; iodine, silver, polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB) and honey to make it easier for veterinary nurses and other clinicians in veterinary practices to decide their potential use. The assessment will be made with consideration of the available evidence concerning the properties, usability and the animal?s experience. The results showed a lack of evidence in in-vivo studies in horses, particularly studies within the field of veterinary nursing.

The purpose of this study was to examine the discourses that can be identified in medias representation of social services. To answer the purpose we made a critical discourse analysis using Faircloughs three-dimensional model. The choice to focus our study on a local newspaper was based on earlier research that found it possible that a local paper has a greater impact on readers than a national newspaper. Readers can more easily connect with what's happening in the immediate environment than what is written nationally. We used articles published in 2013 containing ?social services?.

Assessing the outcome of corporate responsibility is often argued to be complicated due to long-term effects and qualitative aspects. Epstein (2008, p.261) establishes that: ?Though many think that sustainability is too difficult to measure, companies have found that unless the impacts are measured, they are commonly ignored in the resource allocation process?. Corporate responsibility is often referred to as a business case, i.e., that social and environmental concern add value to the business (Heikkurinen, 2010; Porter & van der Linde, 1995). Hence, for corporate responsibility to be a business case a strategy, corporate structure and systems, programmes and actions linked to performance measures need to be in place to assess the outcome; environmental, social as well as financial.

Root rot causes large economical losses for Swedish forestry. The spread of root rot can partly be prevented by treating the spruce stumps in thinnings. Late pre-commercial thinning (PCT) is one of the forestry measures where stump treatment is not used. Late PCT can be defined as: The act of cleaning the stand with the aim of improving accessibility and sight within the stand, and so to increase the mean stem´s volume during the first conventional thinning. The aim of this study was to examine how late PCT is performed, its spatial extent and if it aids the spreading of root rot. The study was limited to encompass late PCT before first conventional thinnings in spruce stands in southern Sweden. Samples of spruce stumps were taken from four stands where late PTC had been carried out.

The purpose of this essay was to examine the role of the acquisition of the Swedish language for integration of adult immigrants given by the seven parties currently in the parliament and other players on the field. The questions were meant to bring light upon the arguments used by the different players concerning the role of the Swedish language, to enlighten which discourses that are constructed, and the contradictions that exist between these. We parted from a postmodern position and used social constructionism to back up our method and theory of analysis; discourse theory. The results revealed three different discourses concerning the role of the Swedish language in the integration process; the liberal discourse, the discrimination discourse and the social democratic discourse. The liberal discourse claims that immigrants have a responsibility to learn Swedish to be able to achieve employment and to provide for themselves.

Purpose: The purpose with this paper is to get a deeper understanding for prizes and awards as a marketing tool and phenomena. Further we want companies/organizations that use this should be able to make better decisions concerning marketing towards students. Maybe they will get better results on the basis of our investigations. Method: We used the qualitative method when we did the interview that was also non-standardized. The survey was quantitative, and the case study comprises both qualitative and quantitative method.

Aitik-gruvan utanför Gällivare är en av Europas största koppargruvor. Malm bryts i dagbrott och släntdesignen bygger till stor del på undersökningar och karteringsarbeten från 1970- och 1980-talet. Idag når dagbrottet betydligt djupare nivåer jämfört med då dessa studier utfördes. Det var därför aktuellt med en ny undersökning för att avgöra om det råder liknande eller förändrade förhållanden beträffande spricksituationen i dagbrottet. I detta examensarbete utfördes sprickkartering med hjälp av digital stereofotogrammetri, i syfte att kartera nya blottade delar i dagbrottet.

Various Fusarium species causes some of the most common cereal diseases worldwide. Besides the yield losses that can be a result of these diseases, strains from several Fusarium species can produce mycotoxins, some very toxic. The aim of this study was to investigate which Fusarium species and how many that occurred in winter wheat grains from Mälardalen and Kalmar län, if there was any difference in the distribution of Fusarium fungi between the regions and the potential within species to produce mycotoxins belonging to the group trichothecenes. Winter wheat grains collected in 2009 from ten fields (unsprayed plots) in the two regions were analysed for Fusarium species. PCR was used to amplify the TEF region where after the samples were sequenced.

Uppsatsen handlar om det arbete vi utfört åt Prevas AB i Karlstad. Uppdraget gick ut på att synkronisera tre olika systems kalenderfunktioner så att det som skrivs i en kalender syns i alla. För att klara det behövde vi först undersöka hur de tre systemen fungerade vilket delade upp arbetet i en utredningsfas och en konstruktionsfas.
