People move between countries and establish connections all over the world. This results in a need to solve problems with cross-border inheritances and partitions of joint property. Today these situations are regulated by the countries? own international private law. EU has adopted a constitution that harmonizes rules of jurisdiction and applicable law for inheritances but not the partition of joint property.

The tourism industry in Sweden has expanded in recent years and the increasing industry has meant that customers are in need of a reseller for their trips abroad. Today there are three types of retailers available. These are : Traditional travel agencies , tour operators and online travel agencies.Online Travel agencies are the most modern online option for customers. Their existence has made it easier for the customer and reservation can be made anytime and anywhere. The competition has intensified between the three retailers and the traditional alternatives must find new ways to survive.

De äger inte själva några transportmedel utan anlitar externa transportföretag. Det här projektet behandlar endast flygfrakt. Gods som ska exporteras med flyg måste göras Ready for Carriage. Detta är en aktivitet som Expeditors idag har lagt ut på ett terminalbolag som heter Cargo Center.

The Arctic region appears as a pristine remote environment, yet there is increasing evidence that it is greatly impacted by pollution such as lead (Pb) and mercury (Hg). In this environment deposition of Hg has increased threefold since the last industrial revolution. In this study five cryosolic soil profiles within non-sorted circles (NSC) in the Abisko region, northwest of Sweden, has been analyzed to improve our understanding regarding how pollutants are distributed within such type of soil. The soil samples have been analyzed with the use of X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF), for the measurements of the total concentrations of e.g. lead (Pb) and zirconium (Zr).

The study aims to investigate the feasibility of small-scale electricity production with solar electricity systems, also known as PV (photovoltaic) systems, in Australia. Due to the global warming, sustainable energy has in recent years become an increasingly important issue, both internationally and in Australia. With one of the largest dependencies on fossil energy sources in the world, the country's abundant solar radiation is a possible solution to this issue.Both the technical and the economic feasibility of small-scale PV systems were investigated. On the technological side, the electricity generation, distribution and consumption systems were studied. On the economical side, the parameters that drive the profitability of a PV investment were investigated.

Den här rapporten undersöker om ett tänkbart alternativt släckvattensystem till Hallandsåstunneln, kan vara i praktiken genomförbart. Rapporten är en del av mitt examensarbete, som består av två delar. En teoretisk del som behandlar en enkel redogörelse om vilka krav det finns på brandsäkerhet i tunnlar och grundläggande förståelse om just släckvattensystem. Därefter presenteras brandsläckningssystem i andra befintliga tunnlar. Detta för att ge läsaren mer kunskap inom området innan redogörelsen för den praktiska delen.Den praktiska delen, har bestått av beräkningar och redogörelse av det tänkta alternativet till Hallandsåstunneln.Det planeras för att bygga ett släckvattensystem med pumpstationer vid båda mynningarna av tunneln.

Förmedling av information inom en organisation är en viktig del för att det dagliga arbetet ska fungera. Rätt person ska få rätt information på rätt sätt. Vår undersökning syftar till att visa hur en informationsarkitektur som utformas utifrån användarnas behov kan förbättra en verksamhets informationsförmedling. Genom en fallstudie på Länstrafiken i Örebro undersöktes vad för information dess användare vill ha och hur de vill ha den. Frågorna som undersökningen ämnar besvara är: -          På vilket sätt kan ett användbarhetsperspektiv leda till en förbättrad informationsarkitektur?-          Hur optimeras informationsförmedlingen med en användarcentrerad informationsarkitektur? En användarcentrerad informationsarkitektur utformas utifrån användarnas behov.

SammanfattningTredimensionella fastigheter är, i större utsträckning än traditionella fastigheter, beroende av att samverka med omkringliggande fastigheter för att bli lämpliga för sitt ändamål. Av den anledningen finns särskilda villkor för att sådan fastighetsbildning ska få ske. Bland annat måste fastigheten tillförsäkras vissa nödvändiga rättigheter redan vid bildandet. Det här arbetet fokuserar på en specifik typ av nödvändig rättighet som de allra flesta tredimensionella fastigheter har behov av, nämligen elektriska starkströmsledningar. Hur rätten till dem ska tryggas preciseras inte i lagtext, utan är upp till Lantmäteriet att besluta om i de enskilda fallen.

The role distribution between designers and product coordinators and the system support between these roles are adapted according to the method of working that product models primarily are created for production and after sales market. At the same time models are also created to support a cross-functional way of working. This means that product structures exists on paper and as CAD-models before they are created in Scanias PDM-system environment which leads to unnecessary work and to information not being shared as early as it should be possible.A theoretical study has been performed with the purpose of understanding the problems and to create a foundation for improvement suggestions. Representatives from both roles have been interviewed together with other individuals with insight in the collaboration. A minor study concerning the roles of interests? collaboration at Volvo CC was also performed to be able to relate the study to another company.

 There is an ongoing reorganization within media industries today as they adapt to new and changing demands - the environment is changing fast and the organizations with it. The development of new technology is contributing to new forms of media distribution in the present media industry. The structure of media organizations is getting flatter and the co-workers are getting a new and bigger role. All this is bringing new challenges for the leaders of the organization. Caught in the middle of these new structures is the middle manager who now is facing different demands from all sides.

The goal for this master thesis project has been to investigate the power quality in adistribution grid, which has a high fraction of dispersed power production due towindmills. The study has been done on a grid in Laholm South of Halmstad, whereapproximately 45 windmills are connected to the distribution grid owned by SHKEnergi. The investigation has been focused on to two radialy fed 20 kV lines, wheretwelve windmills are connected.Voltage variations have been studied by creating a model of the grid in the simulationprogram SIMPOW. The largest deviation that has been found in any point of the gridis ±1.9 % of the nominal voltage. This deviation is a result of varying powergeneration from the windmills and the voltage regulation at the connection point ofthe line.

We are currently more aware than ever about the impact of food on our health, but in the same time this trend put more pressure on the food retailers to do as much as possible to help their customers manage their weight and be healthy in general. This study aims to examine the corporate social responsibility for consumer health in food retailing, in which ways the companies promote healthy eating; in what extent they do it and also the motives for companies for corporate responsibility. The empirical study is limited to the market leading companies in Sweden, Coop and ICA, because the performance of the leading companies puts them in the strongest position to profit from shifting consumer trends, grow revenues and penetrate new markets and also enable them to make a strong case for the effectiveness of voluntary action, obviating the need for government intervention. A qualitative method was used in this study to get an accurate understanding how the food retailers take social responsibility for consumers health. The study is based on interviews with experts in the food retailers Coop and ICA, and the companies reporting in this area, annual reports, corporate responsibility reports and websites.

Den uppsats som i följande beskrivs har syftat till att ur ett konsumentperspektiv undersöka och förstå vad som gör att unga konsumenter väljer att lyssna på den populärmusik de lyssnar på. Detta för att förstå hur marknadsförare ska marknadsföra artister i den förändrade musikindustrin. För att uppnå detta syfte har tre stycken fokusgrupper genomförts med ungdomar i åldrarna 16-18 år från Stockholm. De frågor vi formulerat till fokusgrupperna baserades på hur unga konsumerar musik, hur de skaffar information om musik, vilken roll spelar andra ungdomars musikval, vad som skulle få dem att betala för musik, hur de definierar sin personlighet, samt hur de visar grupptillhörighet. Svaren tolkades utifrån teorier inom konsumentbeteende och marknadskommunikation.

Virulent strains of Staphylococcus hyicus produce exfoliative toxins and cause a potentially fatal skin disease in piglets known as exudative epidermitis. Vaccines and antimicrobials are used to control the disease. Antimicrobial resistance and the prevalence of several different toxin genes and toxigenic strains make it problematic. The aim of this literature study was to identify potential differences between countries and between healthy and diseased pigs regarding antimicrobial resistance and toxin-producing strains. Great differences could influence vaccine production, treatment strategies and surveillance programs.

The aim of this study is to find out if, and in what way the Maasai pastoralists affect the spotted hyena (Crocuta crocuta) through Bomas (Maasai settlement) and keeping of livestock. The study was carried out in the Maasai Mara National Reserve and the adjoining group ranch, Koyake GR, in South-western Kenya.Data was assembled through transect driving, with instantaneous scan sample during two seasons, December 2003 and May-June 2004. Study area contained 12 bomas with three different type of transects each: T1 (0.5 km from boma), T2 (3 km from boma) and T3 (5.5 km from boma), to create a gradual decline in human and livestock impact. Results show that there are differences in the hyena's utilisation of transect type during the day and during the night. The spotted hyena tend to avoid transects close to the boma during the day time, but go there during the night time.
