Denna uppsats undersöker, med hjälp av event-studier, hur aktiemarknadslikviditeten och i sin tur prissättningen på Stockholmsbörsen påverkas av exceptionella händelser såsom Oktoberkraschen 1987, Asienkrisen 1997 och terror attacken mot Twin Towers 2001. Vidare studeras även om samband mellan förändringar i marknadslikviditeten och avkastning på räntebärande statspapper och guld för att undersöka om dessa alternativa placeringsformer bidrar till förändringar i marknadslikviditeten. Tidigare forskning med avseende på potentiella förbättringar av börsers mikromarknadsstruktur i syfte att förbättra marknadslikviditeten relateras i uppsatsen till forskning som påvisar att en likviditetspremie existerar på Stockholmsbörsen. Detta görs i syfte att påvisa vad potentiella förbättringar av marknadsstrukturen och i sin tur likviditeten innebär för företags kapitalkostnad. Vi finner att likviditeten temporärt försämras i samband med exceptionella händelser på Stockholmsbörsen.

Our purpose has been to review and analyse the representation of rape, as well as discussions concerning rehabilitation, present in texts targeted at professionals and/or female victims of rape. We wish to investigate whether female victims of rape themselves are given the opportunity of individual positioning with regard to the crimes they have been exposed to. We consider it to be of relevance that female victims of rape themselves are given the opportunity to act, react and feel individually in the context in which they find themselves, without judgement or certain expectations on how to act being dealt to them from their surroundings. Our research questions have been as follows; what views of the phenomenon that is rape are presented in the texts? Do the texts apply any specific theoretical analysis aimed at the possible explanations of the phenomenon that is rape? In what ways do the texts present the significance of rape for the female rape victim? How are the victims feelings of disgrace, guilt and disgust with regard to rape explained, are these reactions linked to the understanding of female sexuality? How are methods of the rehabilitation of female rape victims presented in the texts? Do the texts render possible any other/varying subject positions as a female rape victim? To answer these research questions we have applied a critical discourse analysis on our selection of texts and thereafter made a connection to relevant theory.

A study of how the Internet hatred developed into a media avalanche.Introduction: During February 2013 Swedish media flooded with news of online hate directed towards women after an episode of Uppdrag Granskning on SVT (2013). Female media profiles were given the opportunity to tell the entire Swedish population about the hate and threats they had been exposed to online. In this thesis we want to investigate what topics end up on the media´s agenda, how a piece of news is developed and framed.Questions: How does a piece of news considered highly newsworthy develop from when it first appears in the media until it gradually disappears? How and why did Internet hatred end up on the media´s agenda? How does the media framed the Internet hatred?Theory: To be able to answer the questions formulated in this thesis, the following theories have been used: Agenda-Setting theory, framing theory, news valuation and media logic. Method: Quantitative content analysis of news broadcasts and debate shows from TV, radio and newspapers.

Manipulation av nyhetsflödet vid aktieåterköp är dock ett mycket outforskat område där de få studier som förekommer har genomförts i USA.Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka och klargöra om och i vilken omfattning svenska företagsledningar manipulerar nyhetsflödet vid aktieåterköp med avsikten att gynna sig själva.
