Turismen i Kalmar har ökat de senaste åren, men hamnar till synes i skymundan av Öland och Glasriket. Hur får man besökare att få upp ögonen för Kalmar som primära resmålet och hur får man dem att stanna? Vi har i denna uppsats intresserat oss för att ta reda på hur ett starkt platsvarumärke skapas och vad som således krävs för att bli en framgångsrik destination, samt hur man kan använda sig av platsmarknadsföring för att nå ut med platsvarumärket till potentiella målgrupper..

Konsumenters beslutsprocess : En kartläggning över vilka faktorer som påverkar en konsument vid val av hotell

Syftet med uppsatsen var att kartlägga vilka faktorer som konsumenter prioriterar när de väljer hotell.De respondenter som besvarade enkätundersökningen var författarnas vänner på community-sajten Facebook. Detta gjorde att urvalet blev snedvridet och den största ålderskategorin var 20-29 år. Vi tycker att detta gjorde studien mer intressant då vi har fått fram tydliga resultat kring vad denna åldersgrupp tycker är viktigt.Respondenterna i åldersgruppen 20-29 år tycker att Plats, Pris och Personer var de tre viktigaste faktorerna som de prioriterade vid val av hotell..

In this study I examine how the employees at Max Hamburgare receive the corporation?s efforts within sustainability, how it is perceived and what this means to the employees.

Moraliskt ansvar i privat konsumtion

The aim of this essay is to find out how students at Malmö University relate to moral responsibility in their private consumption. I am going to test moral theories in order to find out if researchers have a too moral starting point in comparison to everyday use. Through a critical research, free from valuation, I also aim to raise a discussion about moral responsibility which should lead to fair trade in the long run. My essay discusses the subject out of a Swedish city, Malmö - a place where many stores, cafés and restaurant are using moral responsibility as a step in their marketing. Samhällsbyggare eller samhällsomstörtare : katoliker och judars syn på immigrationen till USA kring sekelskiftet 1900

This thesis examines Jews and Catholics views on immigration to the United States in the late 19th century. It is qualitative analysis of how immigrants and immigration is treated in two different magazines, The American Jewess and Catholic World. The findings are then put in the context of contemporary nativist ideas. This thesis states that both The American Jewess and Catholic World are, principally, in favor of immigration and do not want to restrict immigration at that time. Catholic World is somewhat more open to the idea ofdiscussing harder immigration laws but the overall tendency in both magazines is that immigration is not a problem to the United States.

Strategies for social customer relationship management : the case of social media in the Swedish food industry

Consumption of meat and poultry has increased during the last ten years while the production in Sweden has decreased. Cheap imports are competing with Swedish products and consumers, restaurant and retail let the price decided what to purchase. Swedish food producers can become better at communicating the added values that meat and poultry produced in Sweden has. Social media gives companies a possible tool for communication in order to communicate and create a relationship with consumers. The rise of social media does not only affect consumer decisions making, but also corporate communication. The objective of this project is to investigate how social media can connect the farmer to the consumer.

Kulturella perspektiv på psykisk ohälsa. ? En litteraturstudie om sjuksköterskans kulturella omvårdnadsarbete vid psykisk ohälsa.

Syfte: Syftet med studien var att sammanställa och kritiskt granska relevant och aktuell forskning gällande sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsarbete för att upptäcka och arbeta med psykisk ohälsa hos patienter från olika kulturella kontexter. Metod: Studien är en litteraturstudie genomförd på totalt tio vetenskapliga artiklar (5 forskningssammanställningar, 4 kvalitativa, 1 kvantitativ). Dessa har systematiskt granskats och poängbedömts. Artikelsökning har skett i följande databaser: Blackwell Synergy, Cinahl, PsycInfo och Science Direct. Resultat: Studiens resultat visar att sjuksköterskan genom olika kulturella omvårdnadshjälpmedel kan intervenera mot psykisk ohälsa hos patienter från olika kulturer Studien visar även att hur psykisk ohälsa yttrar sig påverkas av kulturell tillhörighet.

In this Bachelor thesis I am going to look at attitudes towards political violence in a small town in Sweden in the 1920s. The town I have picked for this study is Kalmar situated on the east coast of Sweden. This study is a micro historic case study. The specific case is a strike at the city?s water and gas plants for higher salary.

The effects of the climate changes are expected to generate several substantial direct and indirect consequences on both ecosystems and societies. It is the extent of the negative consequences that determents the vulnerability of the things or the ones exposed. The knowledge of the effects and consequences by a changing climate provides an opportunity to take measures to reduce the vulnerability.Our society?s vulnerability depends on how we choose to act out of the existing knowledge and what measures we choose to take. Karlstad municipality has good knowledge and perception of the increased flood risks the climate changes will generate and the probable consequences that most likely will follow. How the municipality decides to manage the flooding issue is not just affected by the will to mitigate the vulnerability but also by the vision to increase the number of citizens.

Due to the highly competitive and busy marketplace of today, companies are forced to take unforeseen measures in defending and developing their brands. Key elements like opinion leadership and lifestyle marketing are commonplace and aim to deliver values that are more difficult to define compared to quality, price, looks and usability. This paper aims to develop what should be considered most fundamental to all commercial branding. By investigating the ideologies that are the core of many successful companies, we hope to clarify the importance of communicating these ideologies. The topic is examined by method of quantitative analysis and the main purpose is to determine; what do the companies think of their ideologies, and how do their consumers recieve them? A secondary purpose is also to investigate whether different kinds of consumers recieve the ideologies in different ways..

Väcka intresse genom överraskningar

Syftet med studien var att utreda om överraskningsmomentet inom reklamkampanjer gör att de som blivit exponerade lättare kommer ihåg namnet på varumärket. Undersökningsmetoden är kvantitativ och datan samlades in via enkäter. Vi trodde baserat på tidigare forskning att ett överraskningsmoment inom en reklamkampanj skulle hjälpa till att skapa ett högre brand recall, vilket också blev fallet. Annonser som innehåller ett överraskningsmoment får ett större medvetande hos de som exponeras, det här leder till att de lättare kommer ihåg händelsen och de får därför ett högre brand recall. .

Narcissism och syskonplacering hos gymnasieelever

AbstractThe aim of this present study was to investigate whether there is a relationship between birth order and the personality trait narcissism using 181 individuals from Finnveden High School in Värnamo (115 females, 60 males, mean age 17, sd=0,94), in the context of the proposal of Sulloway (1996) that personality is influenced by the specialized nich-es siblings adopt in the quest for access to parental resources. A questionnaire which in-cludes Narcissistic Personality Inventory test, Birth order test and also Rosenberg?s self-esteem test in order to investigate if it might has an impact on narcissistic personality trait, was used. Results showed that there was no significant relationship between birth order and narcissism, however, a significant relationship between narcissism and self-esteem was found. Furthermore, there was a significant relationship between narcissism and the individual?s relationship with the mother.

Sjuksköterskans hantering av daglig stress i arbetet - en litteraturstudie

The aim of this study was to describe how nurses cope with their daily stress at work. A literature review was made to answer the research question, data was gathered from two databases; Academic Search Elite and Medline (via Pubmed). The result which was based on 20 scientific articles showed that nurses used problem-focused and emotional-focused coping strategies to deal with the stress at work. Most of the nurses used emotional-focused coping strategies by practise some kind of physical activities, avoid and take distance from the problem. Using these strategies was negative correlated with burnout and psychological health.

Skånskt Naturbeteskött, Närproducerat nötkött - en marknadsstudie :

ABSTRACT Skånskt Naturbeteskött is a group of approximately 30 beefproducers in the south of Sweden, who sell their products on the local market. They are certified with Svenskt Sigill, an organisation that works with animal welfare, environmental responsibility, safe food, open landscape and independent qualitycontrol. These producers have to fulfil certain demands regarding pasture and quality of the meat. For this essay I did a market investigation in which I wanted to find out what qualities the Swedish market and the consumers want in their beef. The purpose was to find out what Skånskt Naturbeteskött could do differently to satisfy the market for locally produced beef in the south of Sweden. In the investigation I turned to those responsible for the beef in 12 supermarkets, 4 selling Skånskt Naturbeteskött today, 4 that sold it before but quit, and 4 that never have sold it but might be interested in the future.
