In the project Barn av vår tid (Children of our time), I have worked with Fryshuset in Malmo and created an interior concept which is designed to express Fryshusets identity, support and encourage its activities and to create a functional environment for young people as well as staff. The purpose of this concept is to help teenagers to feel involved, important and safe. Floor plan, materials and furniture is carefully adapted to support the activities of Fryshuset and to give young people a feeling of coming home. They are also of course chosen with care for the environment. I have studied interior branding, how the rooms can give a sense of security and homely atmosphere and how young people can actively participate in the design of the premises..

Forskningen visar att effektiv kommunikation inom organisationer förutsätter en gemensam tolkningsgrund. Det huvudsakliga syftet med kommunikation kan sägas vara att överföra kunskap mellan varandra för att skapa en förståelse för motpartens avsikter. Ju mer gemensam parternas tolkningsgrund är desto effektivare blir kommunikationen. Det kan dock vara svårt för beslutsfattare i organisationer att få en tydlig uppfattning om graden av effektivitet vad gäller organisationens interna kommunikation. Syftet med denna studie var att utveckla ett allmänt mätinstrument för intern kommunikation i organisationer.

Goda arbetsrelaterade sociala relationer är något som intuitivt kan kopplas till en rad positiva effekter i organisationer. Bristfälliga sociala relationer på en arbetsplats kan på motsvarande sätt tänkas leda till problem. En genomgång av litteraturen visar dock att det saknas en konceptualisering av begreppet arbetsrelaterade sociala relationer samt ett instrument för att mäta dessa. Syftet med denna studie var att identifiera begreppets underdimensioner samt att utveckla ett psykologiskt mätinstrument för dessa. Både en kvalitativ och en kvantitativ metod har tillämpats genom djupintervjuer samt en enkätundersökning.

According to some researchers, dyscalculia is at least as prevalent as dyslexia. Somewhere between 3.6-6 % of all pupils have specific mathematics difficulties named dyslexia. If this be true, it should present the most complex special education predicament by far in schools today. Despite the statistics, dyscalculia is still a rather unknown concept.The cause of dyscalculia is not yet fully analyzed. There are several theories and many researchers see similarities between dyscalculia and the special educational problem of reading and writing, dyslexia.

The concept of the work-first principle (arbetslinjen) might be considered old, but still serves as the main principle as well as an instrument in the Swedish labour market and social policy today. The original idea was that work and willingness to work was to be rewarded, especially due to a common opposition against the passive receipt of grants. The general definition of work, today, is that it is something desirable that should be achieved and that unemployed primarily will be offered training or work rather than grants and subsidies. When the Moderate party re-launched themselves as Sweden's "workers' party of today", in the beginning of the 2000's, the concept was brought back into the spotlight. In the elections of 2006 and 2010, the labour market was widely debated and become a controversial issue, with the concept of the work-first principle playing a major role.The purpose of this thesis is to analyse and problematize how the concept was presented and explained in the nationwide newspapers Aftonbladet and Svenska Dagbladet during the 2010 elections, this in order to increase the understanding of the concept?s contemporary definition and policy implications.

Inledning: Det finns idag en brist när det gäller forskning kring privata HVB-institutioner. Denna studie ämnar undersöka miljöterapeutiskt behandlingsarbete på HVB-institution. Författaren är intresserad av hur ett anknytningsbaserat behandlingsarbete kan se ut.Frågeställning: Hur skapar behandlingspersonalen förutsättningar för ungdomarnas möjlighet till anknytning?Metod: Genom att göra djupintervjuer med fem behandlingshemsterapeuter om deras arbete i den ostrukturerade miljöterapin, ämnar författaren att bidra till förståelsen och innebörden av anknytningsbaserat arbete på institution. Intervjuerna har analyserats med hjälp av förutbestämda dimensioner tagna från anknytningsteorin.

In recent years there have been major changes in the accounting field and the question of what is fair and accurate reporting is always a relevant issue. Defining the concept of true and fair view and to find an accurate synonym is difficult, still it may be considered that there is an implied meaning of the concept in the business of accounting. In 2004 BFN started the development of K2, a simplified regulatory framework for small companies. The purpose of K2 is to facilitate the accounting and reduce the administrative burden for these companies. In Sweden, 95 percent of all companies belong to the category of small companies and are allowed to use the new and simplified regulations, K2.

This thesis describes the development of a tank insert for diesel cars, from idea to a prototype. The idea is to design an insert which makes it impossible to refuel petrol in a diesel car. The insert shall be installed in the existing tank opening on diesel cars. The tank insert is designed for the Swedish company SverigeGrepen AB located in Vänge, just outside Uppsala. Their main product is a pitchfork that is ergonomically designed and durable.A pre-study were performed in which information relating to fuel caps, tank openings, petrol- and diesel nozzles were collected.

Syftet: Syftet med denna uppsats är att se till de kulturella skillnaderna mellan Sverige och Ryssland. Utifrån Hofstedes fem dimensioner, kompletterat med Trompenaars studie, vill vi se om en förändring har skett i Rysslands kultur och hur etablerade företag på den ryska marknaden uppfattar Ryssland. Metod: Studien är kvalitativ och utifrån en deduktiv ansats. Primärdatainsamling har gjorts med hjälp av tre respondenter samt har en sekundärdataanalys gjorts för att insamla empirin som sedan har analyserats utifrån det teoretiska perspektivet. Teoretiska perspektiv: Uppsatsens teoretiska utgångspunkt är utifrån Hofstedes fem dimensionsmodeller av nationell kultur samt av Fons Trompenaars sex dimensioner som ett komplement till Hofstedes undersökning. Resultat: Resultatet av vår primärdata och sekundärdataanalys visar på att de kulturella skillnader som finns mellan Sverige och Ryssland i stor utsträckning beror på historiens utformning av människors värderingar. Historian influerar mycket på hur ett lands kultur gestaltas. Värderingar tar tid att förändra och på grund av det återfinns mycket av kommunismens tankesätt i dagens Ryssland. .

Vi har arbetat med att ta fram en fräsmaskin åt SSAB Luleå. Med fräsen skall man planfräsa ungsdörrarnas tätningsramar. Ugnsdörrarna till antalet 108 stycken sitter placerade i koksverkets ugnsbatteri. Problemet är ramarnas storlek (7000x700 mm). Idag finns inga standardutrustningar att köpa för att fräsa detaljer av dessa dimensioner..

The purpose of this study was to examine experienced family counselors view regarding the concept of conflict avoidance in couple relationships. Twelve family counselors working in different parts of Sweden was interviewed using a semi-structured interview guide. They were asked to reflect on the following: their description of the concept of conflict avoidance, the consequences of conflict avoidance in couple relationship, gender differences and their own view on how to create conditions for constructive, therapeutic work in this respect.The result shows that the fear of conflicts, difficulty in expressing needs, different perceptions and expectations together with a difficulty to negotiate about differences, creates a lack of emotional and physical contact together with an absence of dialogue. The consequences of this in the long-term, a majority of the respondents perceived, are feelings of anger, resignation, powerlessness and unhappiness..

AbstractAim: this paper is a report of a concept analysis of forgiveness and its practice within the social work area. Background: worldwide interest in and funding for forgiveness research has brought about a body of knowledge from many disciplines that could be clinically useful to social work. At this time forgiveness interventions are used in social work in other countries, primary in the USA. The social workers in the Scandinavian countries need to focus on this important area of inquiry. Method: forgiveness was explored from a philosophical perspective and from forgiveness interventions from a variety of areas suitable for social work.

Problem: How is Lean, a production-focused model being applied to non-productive focused industries.Purpose: To examine how Lean has been applied to the department of Turbuhaler-Kvalitetskontroll and which parts have been successfully applied.Problem statement: How does the implementation of Lean?s basic concept, which originated in the car industry, differentiate itself from the implementation of Lean in the pharmaceutical industry, in this case the department of Turbuhaler-Kvalitetskontroll at AstraZeneca.Conclusions: The department has had success in its implementation of lean. They have developed and modified the basic concept in order to apply it and excluded the parts they did not consider necessary. Through their work they have accomplished numerous improvements in, among other things, the reduction of lead time. .

This thesis has been made in cooperation with the forestry machinery producerEco-Log in Söderhamn. The focus of the thesis has been to find a cheaper wayto open the large engine hood of the company?s harvesters. The goal was tofind a solution that could increase the value for the customers by being saferand simpler to use, or, at the least, keep these values at an equal level comparedto the previous solution.In order to make it possible to CE-mark the new solution, it was importantMachinery Directive that came into effect from the beginning of 2010.To begin with, a specification of requirements was set up. Thereafter, anumber of different basic concepts was retrieved and evaluated.
