This study is based on the will to understand the importance of a specific theory within social work. From the concept of neo-liberal governmentality, the aim is to critically examine and discuss how governance and self-governance is manifested in social work methods and interventions, exemplified by the theory cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT). This will be accomplished through an analysis of:? How governance (and self-governance) is manifested in text through the advocacy of CBT and methods based on CBT.? How (governance and) self-governance is manifested in text through the contents of CBT and methods based on CBT. The study has a deductive approach including the hypothesis that the discourses inherent in social work methods and interventions, exemplified by the theory of CBT and methods based on CBT, may be related to the West?s development of a neo-liberal concept of governance.

Good governance-begreppet introducerades av Världsbanken på slutet av 1980-talet som riktlinjer för hur en stat på bästa sätt skall organiseras och styras för att nå ekonomisk utveckling. Good governance-idealen innefattar bland annat öppenhet, transparens, rättsäkerhet och effektivitet, som sägs uppnås genom åtgärder som liberalisering och decentralisering. Banken har använt sig av konditionalitet då de ställt krav på anpassning till good governance till de länder som ansökt om utvecklingslån. Tidigare har good governance-kriterierna setts som absolut goda och tillämpbara i alla länder, i enlighet med ett best practice-synsätt. Många har kritiserat denna tillsynes förenklade världssyn och hävdat att agendan är alltför ambitiös och att banken bör ta hänsyn till mottagarländernas specifika kontexter för att nå bästa resultat.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att ta reda på hur man som pedagog kan arbeta med digital portfolio i förskola samt hur digital portfolio kan fungera som ett underlag till reflektion över pedagogens verksamhet samt som ett verktyg till att förändra den. I min undersökning har jag använt mig av en kvalitativ metod i form av intervjuer med pedagoger i förskolan som arbetar med digital portfolio. Min studie visar att pedagogerna anser att digital portfolio är ett arbetssätt som synliggör barns lärande för pedagogerna, barnen själva samt för föräldrarna. Studien visar även att digital portfolio används till att förstå och förändra den egna verksamheten men att pedagogerna inte på ett medvetet sätt använder digital portfolio till det syftet. I min diskussion för jag ett resonemang om resultatet samt om möjligheterna med digital portfolio..

I dagens visuella effekter är digital compositing en av de viktigaste processerna. Från att uteslutande ha utförts i 2D har digital compositing dock kommit att innebära en alltmer tredimensionell process. Det här arbetet reder ut begreppet 3D-compositing och sammanställer vilka 3D-compositingtekniker som är vanligt förekommande. Ett urval av dessa tekniker tillämpas sedan i en egen effektsekvens. Slutsatsen blir att det är kombinationen av 3D-funkionalitet och 2D-compositing i samma program som är styrkan med digital compositing i 3D-miljö..

Problem: After several corporate scandals concerning accounting around the world a discussion concerning corporate governance arose. The public demanded greater insight and better corporate governance in public companies. The discussions led to the development of codes of corporate governance, codes such as the Sarbanes Oxley Act, the Combined Code and the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance. The Swedish code is a clarifying of the Swedish law, a codification of praxis and in some cases an increase in the demands on reporting of information from the companies.Purpose: The purpose of the thesis is to describe what effects the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance has had on the content of annual reports of listed companies and if different types of companies have been affected in different ways.Method: The investigation was conducted using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Through a preliminary study knowledge about the subject was gathered.

Mitt examensarbete går ut på att undersöka möjligheterna att förenkla de moment inom den traditionella färskvirkestekniken som är tidskrävande utan att tillföra något till uttrycket. Syftet för arbetet är möjliggöra snabba beslut för att underlätta en inspirerande arbetsprocess där formen skapas samtidigt som produkten.Jag har utgått ifrån maskinverkstaden på Carl Malmsten Furiture Studies och tillverkat en ställbar borrmall där olika vinklar på ett snabbt sätt kan ställas in och där ämnet kan spännas fast trots att det är assymetriskt. Jag har i samarbete med Ulf Bengtsson, forskningsingenjör på IEI vid Linköpings universitet, utvecklat en fräsmall till en handöverfräs för att tillverka tappar. Uppsatsen analyserar hur aktörer inom ANDT-politiken på ett effektivt sätt kan delta i processen för framtagande av policy och implementering och på vilket sätt ANDT-politiken är präglad av government respektive governance. AbstractThe OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm requires all large companies to apply the Swedish Code ofCorporate Governance. A revised code will be applied from July 2008. The purpose of this paper is toidentify the accessibility of information on corporate governance and in particular how the compliance,concerning the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance in the perspective of an internet active generalpublic.This paper is a complete census of the companies at the OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm whocomplies with the code. Each company website has been visited and a comparison between the sectorsat the OMX Exchange Stockholm has been performed.Results: 96% of the companies present the members of the nomination committee. 94% presents thenomination committees proposal of the company board members, though only 33% of the companies inthe Energy sector.

This thesis investigates the Designated Operational Entities (DOEs) under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol. The DOEs serves as independent third-party auditors with the task of validating, verifying and certifying projects under the CDM. The majority of the DOEs are private entities. This is in line with the CDM objective of including the private sector in the climate change combat. The introduction of private entities in the role of DOEs can be questioned from a legitimacy point of view, but is corresponding to a development in international environmental governance where private actors are increasingly involved in governance arrangements.The thesis concludes the DOEs to be a form of public-private partnership and investigates the legitimacy of this form.
