The technological development and increasing popularity for integrated multichannel solutions constitutes both severe opportunities and challenges for todays' and tomorrows' retailers. On the account of consumers leaving traces when using digital channels and the technological development enabling retailers to use this information to create relevant offers, goal-congruity is relevant to apply in the multichannel shopping context. Based upon previous research on goal congruity and channel integration, our main purpose in this study is to increase the understanding for how congruity in an offer increases the intention to redeem the offer. Several studies focus on and contrast the product characteristics hedonic and utilitarian. However, it has been stated that it is crucial that research also examines the difference in target audience, buying situation and as examined in this study: buying decision process.

I denna text diskuterar jag produktionen av Hearty Horrors, ett spel programmerat och designat helt i flash. Jag diskuterar svårigheterna för de olika delarna i att skapa ett spel. Tankar och jämförelser mellan onda och goda karaktärer och vad man, som speldesigner, bör och inte bör göra för att få spelare att känna sig manade att spela vidare. Minnets tematiska och berättartekniska funktion i Eyvind Johnsons roman Strändernas svall (Fredrik Smeds, C-uppsats i Litteraturvetenskap, Karlstads universitet, Institutionen för kultur och kommunikation, vt 2003). Författaren redogör först för romanens handling och jämför kompositionen med den i Odysséen. Vidare studeras berättare och synvinkel. Därefter följer en genomgång av minnena och berättelserna, främst Odyssevs?, men även Nestors och Menelaos?.

Illamående och kräkningar hos kvinnor som behandlas med cytostatika mot bröstcancer är ettomfattande problem inom den onkologiska omvårdnaden. Många kvinnor upplever, trots välutvecklade läkemedel för att motverka cytostatika utlöst illamående och kräkningar denna, förmånga fruktade biverkan. Syftet med litteraturöversikten var att finna förebyggande ochlindrande icke farmakologiska metoder som kan hjälpa till att minska det cytostatika utlöstaillamåendet och kräkningarna som kan uppstå hos kvinnor med bröstcancer i samband medcytostatikabehandlingen och effekten av dessa metoder.Som teoretiskt stöd användes Orem´s egenvårdsteori och för att identifiera metoderna gjordesen litteraturöversikt med kvantitativa originalartiklar ur vetenskapliga tidskrifter. De ickefarmakologiska metoderna som studerades var akupressur, elektroakupunktur, yoga,fysiskträning, massage och utbildning.Användandet av dessa icke farmakologiska metoder visade på en minskning av cytostatikautlöst illamående och kräkningar, antingen som placeboeffekt eller som faktisk effekt. Sombifynd diskuteras ångest och stress effekt på illamående och kräkningar, eftersom metodernavisat sig kunna inverka och förbättra kvinnornas sinnesstämning genom suggestion.De studerade icke farmakologiska metoderna är förhållandevis lätta att tillämpa och är inte såtidskrävande.

Background: Many companies have outsourced their IT-operations and their expectations of what this IT-outsourcing will contribute to the business are high. Cost cuts are not always a natural outcome of IT-outsourcing. Many companies that have outsourced their IT-operations consider it to be problematic and complex to exercise management control and reach cost control which was the purpose of the IT-outsourcing. Purpose: To describe and analyze what affect IT-outsourcing has on a company?s management control system and a company?s possibility to exercise cost control.

Vårt syfte med denna studie var att undersöka när, hur och i vilket syfte pedagogerna och barnen använder sig av lärplattan i sin verksamhet. För att få syn på det ställde vi oss följande frågor. Hur resonerar pedagogerna kring användandet av digitala verktyg i förskolans verksamhet? När, hur och i vilket syfte använder pedagoger och barn lärplattan i förskolans verksamhet? Vilka möjligheter, dilemman och/eller konflikter med digital dokumentation lyfter pedagogerna fram? När vi skriver pedagoger och verksamhet avser vi de två förskolor i Skåne som vi har gjort vår studie på. Vår studie bygger på en metodtriangulering, det vill säga att vi valde att arbeta med olika insamlingsmetoder för att ge oss en bredare förståelse för studien.

Since a few years back television has been on a verge of an enormous digital change. Web-TV is now growing at an incredible rate and is said to completely change the way we consume TV. The purpose of this essay is to determine and gain an understanding of how representatives of the broadcast industry looks at the phenomenon of web-TV and especially the different kinds of online video services and how they believe this will affect the television. Methods used are qualitative interviews which we compared with previous studies on the subject and acknowledged communication theories. The respondents were people with good insight and understanding of the media and TV industry.

AbstractIntroduction: The condition of human health and its lifestyle has become a great questioner towards the public healthcare of our country. Despite the recommendations of at least 30 minutes physical exercise per day, many individuals of our society do not get the recommended amount of physical activity.  To improve the situation a method called ?Fysisk Aktivitet på Recept, FAR (Physical Activity on Recipe). This means that licensed health- and medical staff, as district nurses are able to write prescriptions on physical activity to patients.Purpose: Was to highlight the district nurse?s experience in the role of the FAR-prescribers.Method: The study was conducted using qualitative method.

This thesis work resulted in a template for how the thermal spray process can be controlled through robot programs. The robots today and their programs need to be replaced, therefore a new structure which can be matched with the new robot systems is needed. The work is limited to only concern structured programming on the new robots on Thermal Spray Centre (TC) with the programming language Rapid. The basic data for the program was retrieved from interviews with concerned personnel at TC, from studies on process parameters for thermal spray and from existing specifications at Volvo Aero Corporation (VAC). The thesis work briefly describes the process thermal spray and the four methods used at VAC.

We live in a society where the technology has an enormous role in our lives. The average age of using digital tools among Swedish people is down to a very young age. In the recent period of time there has been much debate about tablets and their use in preschools. The aim of this study is to examine the preschool teachers experiences and perceptions of tablet use and how the implementation of the tablets benefits the school activities. What is central to this research is not how kids use the tablet, but how educators are using the tablet device as supplement for children?s development.

The goal of this thesis is to design an attachment between a duct and a pod. A pod is what could be compared to an outboard engine for larger vessels. The pod is placed on the outside of the ship?s hull and can rotate 360 ?. A duct is a large steel ring that can be placed around the propeller on the pod to increasethe propulsion force of the ship in lower velocities.

Background: Swedish consumers are daily bombarded with 1500 advertising messages. 22 percent of the Swedish people are avoiding all advertising in traditional media according to SIFO's research. To master this problem innovative methods are a necessity to reach consumers. Guerrilla marketing is such a method.Purpose: The purpose of this dissertation is to describe the components and the activities that asuccessful guerrilla campaign consists of. He purpose is also to examine the motives behind theseactivities, why they were chosen and what objectives they were supposed to accomplish.

Examensarbetet har utförts i samarbete med Kongsberg Power Product Systems AB i Ljungsarp. Syftet med projektet var att utveckla ett grundkoncept på en modulbaserad instrumentpanel. Konceptet skulle ha olika modulkombinationer och erbjuda möjligheten att integreras hos olika kunder och maskintyper. Instrumentpanelen skulle även anpassas och vara en del av Kongsbergs rattstångsprodukt. Projektet innefattade design ? och konstruktionsarbete och resulterade i en instrumentpanel uppbyggd i tre moduler som tillgodoser de krav som sattes upp i smråd med Kongsberg.  Instrumentpanelens tre moduler innehåller bl.a. knappsatser, lampor och indikatorer, en digital display samt ett sammanhängande formspråk. Med utgångspunkt från konstruktionsunderlaget byggdes en identisk prototyp. Prototypen representerar det färdiga resultatet och ger en förståelse för formspråket och de ingående funktionerna..

Introduction: This thesis is about how the accounting entry provisions are linked to corporate market value. By statistically examining accounting and share data for 56 companies listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, the question of whether accounting information regarding provisions are value relevant for investors is studied. Listed companies shall follow the rules of IAS 37 ? Provisions, Contingent liabilities and Contingent assets, when preparing financial statements.Aim: The purpose of this thesis is to examine the relationship between reported information about provisions and investors assessment of listed companies that comply with IFRS-regulations, by statistically testing the value relevance of the accounting entry.Method: The study is based on a quantitative, deductive methodological approach. The value relevance of provisions is examined by statistically testing the collected empirical data based on the two models that is described in the reference frame.Results: The conclusion to be drawn from the study is that reported provisions have no statistically significant association with return on shares and thus is not value relevant.

In this development essay, we are trying to answer how drama studies in education could develop as a subject. Through participation observations and drama lessons in a development group we investigated how drama could develop within multimodality and how this new thinking could promote the identity among the youth. Two different drama lessons and one test lesson constitute our qualitative method. The methods we mainly used were participation observation and reflection. Through Lalanders and Johanssons, Skolan och den radikala estetikens and Ziehes theories we are trying to answer our questions.
