In order for companies to be competitive they perform different types of development projects.  Due to globalization a greater focus is added on costs, not least on costs in development projects. Project controllers are involved in development projects in order to review the financial aspects. The authors have examined the role that project controllers hold in respect of two Swedish manufacturers, Volvo CE and Scania CV. The investigation has revolved around three main issues where the authors conducted interviews with controllers that do not work in development projects and project controllers in development projects. The goal of the interviews was to gain a greater understanding of the role of project controllers, how this role will differ from those that do not work in development projects and the difficulties faced by project controllers.

The purpose of this study was to examine how teachers practice Arne Tragetons theory of using computers as the first writing instrument in reading and writing development. We wanted to clarify how the work from using Tragetons theory was applied while investigating if and how other methods of reading and writing instruction were used. Our interest lays in how the teachers accomplished the knowledge of this theory and also how the choice of this approach came about. To investigate this we used interviews with a qualitative nature, where seven active teachers were interviewed. They worked in three different schools in years one to three, they were all women and had various long experiences of work on the computer writing tools.

In this thesis recruiter?s attitudes and usage of social media within the media business has been examined. The purpose was to find out whether a certain type of behavior in social media could or could not lead to a future employment. How much weight is put on the virtual identity and what does recruiters look for when the look someone up on the internet. Personal interviews with recruiters were done in six different media companies in Stockholm to find out how they used social media when searching and employing new employers.

Computer use at work has risen considerably over the past fifteen years and is currently a relatively common phenomenon when 76 percent of women and 72 percent of men using the computer in their daily work (SCB Arbetsmiljörapport 2009).According to Gulliksen and Göransson (2009), Sweden is one of the countries which are more advanced in the procurement of computer systems at work. He means that Sweden has unique opportunities and conditions for user participation in the development of computer systems, when the user has the right to influence their working environment through a law in the Work Environment Act. The paper examines the importance of user involvement in system development and the Swedish company's approach and experience of user involvement. To highlight and explore the importance of user involvement, there has been a case study in which users have been representative of the development process. The case study has been conducted on a case company where the system IST analys was in need of a new interface.

Samt möjlighet till att hitta och ta in digitalt lagrade media i form av filmer och text.Rapporten går igenom tankeprocessen, planeringen och utförandet samt teoretiska och praktiska lösningar att arbeta i HTML, PHP programmering, SQL, CSS samt JavaScript för att skapa en digital mötesplats som innehåller forum, användarfunktioner, uppladdning av media, profildesign, sökfunktioner mm. Den ger även en överblick i att jobba med Google API för sökfunktion samt phpbb3-anpassning av en redan fungerande login/registreringsfunktion på den egna sidan. Rapporten går även igenom teoretiska problem gällande anpassningen till öppen källkod och implementering av externa system..

I denna studie har jag använt mig av de ämnesdidaktiska principerna som en teoretisk modell för att möjliggöra förståelsen för hur lärare i ämnet samhällskunskap använder sig av digitala medier i sin undervisning. Det empiriska materialet i studien kommer ifrån sex intervjuade lärare som arbetar på tre olika högstadieskolor. Två av de intervjuade lärarna i studien arbetar även som IKT inspiratörer. Två av skolorna i studien som de intervjuade lärarna arbetar på bedrivs av kommunal regi medan en är en friskola. Resultatet som jag har kommit fram till i studien visar att lärarna använder olika former av digital media i sin undervisning.

Syfte: Syftet med magisteruppsatsen är att konstruera en ansats till en generell teoretisk analysmodell som kan förklara hur affärsmodeller påverkas av externa branschförändringar. Analysmodellen kommer att appliceras på TV-branschen.Metod: Vi har konstruerat en ansats till en generell teoretisk analysmodell som vi har applicerat på TV-branschen för att försöka förklara hur företagens affärsmodeller påverkas av externa faktorer som bidrar till förändringar i branschen. I vår undersökning har vi valt en kvalitativ metod, och vi har huvudsakligen använt oss av teori inom branschutveckling, värdekonstellationer och value migration teori. Vår primärdata utgörs av intervjuer med personer som arbetar inom digital-TV området i någon av de tre distributionsplattformarna. Sekundärdata har vi erhållit från artiklar, remisser samt annat material från olika instanser inom området.Slutsats: Vår ansats till analysmodell utgör en grund för att studera hur affärsmodeller påverkas av branschförändringar.

The study concerns the history and development of hospitallibraries in Sweden in the beginning of the 1900 century.Focus is on the 1930 decade, the time of major expansionof the area. The study is based on study of literature, mainlyfrom articles but also from a few booklets from the time.The purpose of the study is to find out how the librarieswere described in the literature of the time and which goalsand tasks they had. It is also to make it possible to increaseunderstanding of the history of hospital libraries, using it asan inspirational source for development of today´s businessin a time of major change. The result of the study showsthat those goals and ideas are still valid and serve well as aninspirational basis for development of today´s hospitallibraries..

This work is a study of subject teachers in social studies and science understand the concept of sustainable development. The work uses a qualitative and a quantitative approach. Teachers in various schools and stages have been answering questions about how they perceive sustainability, how they implement it in teaching and if they feel that school is important for the future of sustainable development at large.The theoretical background is based on environmental ethics as well as the different meanings and definitions of the concept of sustainable development. These theories and definitions are coupled with the empirical results.The study concludes that all teachers throughout the study perceive the concept of sustainable development as something ecological, something that has to do with nature. A few teachers also state economic and social dimensions.Questions about how the teachers in the study implement the concept in their teaching can be seen as three different approaches.

The purpose of the study was to examine how teachers currently working with students who have a mother tongue other than Swedish. The investigation has been carried out using three qualitative research interviews. It has been shown that some educators believe that inclusion in the regular classroom instruction has been giving the best results for students' language development. It has provided great opportunities for discussion and group work. Teachers have given tips on how to work with these students so that they develop in the Swedish language.

The aim of this report is to give the reader insight into the development of theweb-based accounting application SuperBooky. Accounting is a complex task thatmany beginner entrepreneurs struggle with. The development of this application wastherefore focused on making accounting as convenient and as easy as possible. Theend product targets small enterprises and its functionality was designed with this inmind.To make sure that the application was designed in a user-friendly way, polls werecarried out among individuals with basic accounting knowledge. These polls werethen used as a basis when the application was under development, to ensure that itwas well-suited to the target audience.This project was carried out as a bachelor?s thesis for Chalmers University of Technologyand University of Gothenburg during Spring 2015.

There is an ongoing evolution in scholarly communication. The traditional way of communicating scholarly results through scientific journals is beginning to be replaced by other means of dissemination. One new channel for scholars to communicate their results is digital publication in so-called open archives. An open archive is a kind of full text database, where a scholar may archive/publish his or her articles, as a complement or a substitute to publishing in scientific journals. There are discipline-oriented archives and institutional archives.

The purpose of this essay is to examine the impact on children playing at a preschool yard that is designed with traditional playground equipment, and a nature-like yard without traditional playground equipment. How these respective environments influence children?s play, which other factors in the external environment that affect the game and whether the theories in the literature correspond with the results were important questions for the essay. To answer these questions a case study was applied onto two specific preschool centers, both located in Malmö. Through literature studies, inventories, observations and interviews with staff and children, a picture become clear of how the children use the yard and how their play is affected by the design of it.

Ny nationell höjdmodell är ett projekt som utförts av Lantmäteriet på begäran av regeringen sedan år 2009 och beräknas vara färdigt år 2016. Datainsamling sker med hjälp av flygburen laserskanning. Syftet med studien är att kontrollera noggrannheten av laserdata som ska användas för framställning av ny nationell höjdmodell i Sverige. Noggrannhetskontrollen utfördes på området Årsunda ? Ockelbo (syd ? nord) och Storvik ? Forsbacka (väst ? öst).

Natural and environmental issues are everyday parts in preschool but when educators shall consciously work with sustainable development they tend to stop at recycling and what is necessary to be done for achieving the Grön Flagg-certification. I have been observing various preschools and noticed that sustainable development is flawed, often because of the teachers lack of interest, knowledge and in some cases both. Out of this grew an idea of making a project that could help the teachers see how the work with the subject in a fun and educational way can become a part of the preschools everyday routine. I made a tutorial booklet with basic facts and activities relating to sustainable development and the three questions in my report were how much knowledge and interest the teachers initially have, if the tutorial booklet could help the teachers to produce new knowledge and interest for the topic and if it turned out to be easier for them to provide educational activities within the subject. There were three departments that participated in my survey and the methodology of collecting data was an anonymous survey with the teachers' own comments in response.
