My purpose with this paper related to my questions was to find out how professionals preeschool teachers working on multilingualism. I also wanted to get answers on how pedagogues in the preeschool may promote multilingual children´s language development, the factors that promote multilingual children´s language development and the role parents have in the language development of multilingual children. I chose to do my study in the form of interviews with professional preeschool teachers and interviewees described including the need for more knowledge of pedagogues around multilingualism. My result based on theoretichal background and the study is that pedagogues should let the children´s all languages esemble together. A factor influencing the multilingual children´s language development is ambient attitudes to multilingualism.

Rural development in Southeast Sweden- three different views and their consequences for the agrarian landscapeThis paper deals with the future for the rural areas of the southeast province of Östergötland, Sweden. The aim is to unveil, analyse and compare different views on rural development and their consequences for the agrarian landscape. Three views are considered, namely that of the different levels of Governments and their departments, that of the farmers and landowners and, finaly, that of the inhabitants of the rural areas.Differences in the views upon rural development is reflected in differences in the ways of thinking of landscapes. Is the open, and actively cultivated, landscape the ideal for all? Who is to decide what needs or ought to be done to achieve certain desired values and/or goals ? and who pays for it? The one thing that is, and should be, clear from the beginning is that all development, whether positive or negative in an area, bears consequences for the landscape.

This report describes how to process audio signals in real time with a digital signalprocessor. The digital signal processor used in the thesis and described in the reportare the Blackfin processor ADSP-BF537 from Analog Devices.In the body of this report there is theory of the processor characteristics and thevarious programming languages used. All experiments that were made on theprocessor are described, these descriptions also help in understanding the annexeswhere the experiments will be presented. The body of this report also describes theprogram used to do experiments. Testing the CPU limit was done and the results arepresented to get a good view of what it can handle.

Portfoliometodik är idag ett känt begrepp, likaså digital elevportfolio. Båda dessa begrepp, och en av de programvaror som främst är utvecklade för att vara en aktiv digital elevportfolio, har en central roll i den här studien. Portfolio Manager 2, som programmet i fråga heter, är utvecklat i Sverige av svenska pedagoger.Studien har en kvantitativ ansats med enkäter som redskap. En köns- och specialpedagogisk betraktelsegrund fanns i studien, vilket också resulterade i nya pedagogiska rön.Studien är utförd i 5 klasser på 2 olika svenska skolor i slöjd, där samtliga elever gick i åk 5.Lärarenkäten var utformad så att den skulle kunna ge en bedömning av ?fenomenet? PM2 som helhet, då PM2 även innehåller verktyg av det mer administrativa slaget.Studiens resultat bekräftar tidigare studier, dvs.

This essey discuss competence development for the employees in a unit of the Swedish police authorities. The purpose with this survey has been to show an understanding for how this unit within the Swedish police authorities works with competence development and what kind of competence investments they carry out and also why competence development is important in their organisation. To answer the purpose of the survey and the questions a qualitative method has been used remaining interviews with five involved respondents working in the investigated unit. The result shows that needs for competence development are made clear during meeting for personal development and during the local educational council inventories. Competence development for the employees is prioritated for the policemen comparing to the civil employees on account of that the policemen have a demanding work and they have to develop their work all the time because of the resisting circumstances.

Här spelar skolan en avgörande roll, och inte minst skolcheferna som bestämmer det övergripande ramverket för hur digital mediekompetens ska realiseras bland skolledare, lärare, och elever. Men deras uppdrag är komplext eftersom implementering är svårhanterligt, samt att ansvaret för den lokala skolan och dess utveckling styrs både av kommunen och inifrån den egna skolan. Därför är det inte självklart hur skolcheferna idag jobbar för att främja digital kompetens i skolan.

Syftet med denna studie är att få en insikt i lärares respektive skollednings syn på implementering av digital teknik i undervisningen på en mindre F?6-skola. Genom enkäter till samtliga lärare på skolan samt intervjuer med fyra lärare och rektor på skolan undersöktes hur de ser på syftet med implementeringen och hur de använder den utrustning de har tillgång till. De tillfrågades även om hur de ser på resultatet och vad de kan ange som framgångsfaktorer respektive hinder i implementeringen. Genom att använda ett verksamhetsteoretiskt perspektiv gavs möjlighet att undersöka hur individer som innehar olika positioner i en organisation samverkar i implementeringsprocessen.

I ett samhälle där datorspelare anses vistas i en högst amoralisk miljö, vill vi med den här studien granska hur etik och moral ter sig i den virtuella världen via ett symboliskt interaktionistiskt perspektiv. Genom kvalitativa intervjuer har elva spelare av onlinespel fått redogöra för sin egen upplevelse av den interaktion de genomgår dagligen. Med hjälp av utförliga teorier kring etik och moral, symbolisk interaktionism och spelkultur har studien ett brett teoretiskt underlag som appliceras i en hermeneutisk analys. Resultatet visar att etik och moral existerar i onlinespel, samtidigt som amoraliteten. Det verkar röra sig om två olika kulturer.

The concept of sustainable development is a challenge that demands cooperation from all levels of society for it to be successful. The focus for this thesis is how politicians within the local councils understand the concept of sustainable development and how they implement it in political decision-making.The basis for the study is a questionnaire that was distributed to 303 local politicians in three municipalities of varying size in Southern Sweden. The study concentrates on departments within the local councils that are directly connected to the Swedish environmental law and the Swedish planning and construction law. One of the primary goals with the aforementioned laws is the achievement of sustainable development within one generation.The outcome of the study was that over half of the local politicians could correctly define sustainable development according to the World Commission on Environment and Development?s (WCED) definition.

Idag väljer många att sitta på caféer och andra offentliga platser för att arbeta eller ha möten, men få caféer är anpassade för detta. I mitt examensarbete jobbar jag med möbler för dessa platser och behov.Denna rapport som är en del av examensarbetet beskriver våra nya arbetsvanor och varför de har uppkommit. Det handlar om förändringar i arbetsorganisation, digital utveckling och olika faktorer som gör att många dras till platser mellan jobb och fritid.Ett designprojekt genomfördes i samarbete med arkitektbyrån Code Concept Development riktat mot restaurangen Urban Deli och deras utökade verksamhet på Sveavägen 44 i Stockholm. Resultatet blir ett förslag med bord och stolar som bygger på flexibilitet och möjlighet till förändring på en plats där många aktiviteter pågår..

Introduktion: Produktplacering I TV och datorspel har ökat dramatisk under senare åren. Detta till stor del för att datorspelutvecklare idag kan återge pro-dukter med hög detaljrikedom. En hög återgivningsgrad är dock ingen förut-sättning för att lyckas med en produktplacering.  Istället torde det finnas fler faktorer som påverkar spelares attityd emot de produkter som exponeras i spel. Denna studie försöker bidra med kriterier som kan vara viktiga för en spelare vid produktplacering i förstapersonsskjutarspel.Forskningsfråga: Vilka kriterier kan vara betydelsefulla för generation Y och Z rörande produktplacering i FPS-spel?Metod: Denna studie behandlar FPS-spel som ett fall.

This literature study assembles current knowledge about CODD (Contagious Ovine Digital Dermatitis). The aetiology of this disease is not completely known and to obtain a manageable overview, this study aims to summarize the knowledge from published studies and shed light on the subject. Search for literature on the subject has been made in the Web of Knowledge, PubMed and Google Scholar, and has been compiled in this paper. Footrot and ovine interdigital dermatitis are differential diagnosis of CODD and they possibly have a common role in the emergence of CODD. Several studies have drawn parallels to bovine digital dermatitis.

How projects are managed can have a big impact on the project`s result. There are different types of frameworks on the market whose purpose is to help project leaders to pursue a successful project. Those frameworks focus on larger product development projects and both the literature and companies have addressed that the frameworks are too comprehensive for smaller product development projects. They have therefore asked for a framework that is more suitable for those smaller projects. To complete a project on time and to the planned cost is important in both larger and smaller product development projects.

Syftet med följande arbete är att förstå en grupp lärares och elevers uppfattningar om kunskap samt om undervisningsformer inom ämnet Fotografisk bild. Arbetet ger en inblick i aktuell forskning om lärande i skolan. Med hjälp av en kvalitativ studie inkluderande intervjuer av såväl elever som lärare ville jag förstå deras uppfattningar om kunskap samt om undervisningsformer inom ämnet Fotografisk bild. Det framkom i min undersökning att den digitala tekniken är det som används i samhället idag, och även förändrar vårt sätt att lära och att tolka världen. Den digitala tekniken bör därför vara ett naturligt inslag i elevernas kunskapsbildning. Dessutom kan jag konstatera att den analoga tekniken har visat sig medföra positiva effekter på kreativiteten samt elevernas engagemang.
