Införande av nya innovationer och utmönstring av äldre teknologier inom hälso- och sjukvården är inte helt okomplicerad. Ett flertal omständigheter och problem måste beaktas, exempelvis att ökad tillgång till bättre teknologi och tillämpning av ny kunskap visserligen ger förbättrad hälsa, men utvecklingen och användningen av ny medicinsk teknologi innebär även ökade hälso- och sjukvårdskostnader. Hälso- och sjukvården måste därför kunna balansera de tre målen kostnadseffektivitet, kostnadskontroll och främja utvecklingen av innovationer. Det är fakta som tas upp redan i inledning och bakgrund och områdena behandlas framåt i uppsatsen. Syftet med den här uppsatsen är därför att beskriva och analysera införandet av nya innovationer och utmönstringen av äldre teknologier inom hälso- och sjukvården.

The purpose with this report was to compare three commonly occurring methods for measuring plant available nitrogen in soils. The methods extraction, incubation and Plant root simulator (PRS) probe - an ion exchange membrane (Western Ag Innovations, Inc., Saskatoon, Canada) method were used and comparison between these methods were conducted. A full factorial experiment were set up in northern Finland with the treatments excluding herbivores, warming and fertilization to see how the inorganic nitrogen content in the soil was effected by the treatments. Soil cores were taken and from them a subsample was incubated for 18 days and thereafter analyzed for inorganic N in laboratory. PRS- probes were in the ground for 1 month.

The energy sector of modern time is currently faced with several challenges. These are both production oriented and environmental oriented in nature. The energy of the future is intended to support an increasing demand while at the same time reduce its environmental affection. This stresses a development towards production methods of renewable energy. Among the existing methods, biogas is presented as an attractive alternative.

The full test of a web-based system prior to the publication is often regarded as an important part of the process to create a complete and successful website. This bachelor thesis investigates the possibility to analyze mobile-adapted web sites using a system that first records the visitor's activities and then replays them for an expert analyst to provide valuable information to developers about how their site can be improved.The essay begins with a litterature study on today's most common web development tools and then examines the possibility to apply them during the development of the analysis tool. The work also describes two methods, pair programming and waterfall method used during the project. Three different evaluation methods are presented and one of the models is applied on the finished system.The project results in a web-based analysis tool written mainly in JavaScript using the jQuery library.

ALMI Business Partner operating in the years 2008-2010 a project called Vivan which is about innovations made by staff in the health care profession. The project Vivian is to bring new products to the market by establishing new companies. We have looked at why health care professionals to a lesser extent than other professionals choose to start businesses. Another question raised is why it is mostly men who have chosen to start their own business in the female-dominated health profession. Traditionally, men have as an advantage over women in the corporate market in Sweden.

The purpose of this paper is for the reader to realise how national innovation systems are deeply intertwined with the legal background of a country and to understand the processes that involves national innovation systems specifically regarding the stem cell / genetics research and how the need for specific community law must be considered targeting the stem cell patents. The legal part will try to answer: Why is it important given the actual state of the European stem cell national innovation systems for the European Commission to take a stand and tackle issues regarding the patenting of the human stem cell innovations? This is done from a country industry analysis (business approach) and then linking it with competition law from a community stand point of view (that tackles biotechnology issues). In order to achieve this the paper is divided into three separate analyses beginning with a theoretical background of general biotechnology / genetic terms that will enable the reader to have a general understanding of the importance of this kind or research ( genetics / stem cell research). The chosen countries case studies exemplify very diverse economies and development perspective from the traditionally R&D intensive to the least and from the biggest countries in Europe to one of the smallest, thus giving cultural, legal, economic and scientific variety..

CSR, Corporate Social Responsibility, has become increasingly important in a globalised world where the responsibilities of companies and governments are somewhat blurry. The textile industry is an industry where long supply chains and raw material production in developing countries are factors adding to the complexity and difficulties of solving ethical issues. Cotton production faces many environmental, social and financial challenges in the value chain. Therefore this case study takes a closer look at five Nordic home textile companies, Ikea, Hemtex, S Group, Moko and Finlayson, and how these companies choose their cotton related CSR tools and communicate their work on this area. These companies are of various sizes and therefore the resources for CSR work are also different, as well as the perceived values for working with CSR.

Studien ska ge förståelse för den teoretiska grunden där Västerås Capoeira har en positiv och fungerande kulturarena.Empiri - Empiriska studien bygger på intervjuer och observationer på Västerås Capoeira lokaler i samlingslokalen Växhuset.Slutsats - Västerås Capoeira är en ny förening som har sin verksamhet inom Växhuset. Eftersom Capoeira är en sport som har en bred målgrupp vill vi kunna hjälpa föreningen med att hitta medlemmar i alla åldrar, från båda könen och från olika kulturer. The frequency of innovative procurement is currently very low in Sweden. Innovative procurement is to procure unknown solutions to a defined problem or need for which it sometimes has not yet been established on the market.  Current Swedish procurement legislation does not prevent innovation procurement, however, it limits official authorities to actively work with innovative companies to develop new solutions. Furthermore, some conflicts arise between the Swedish procurement legislation and the basic principles concerning public procurement developed under EU law, which must be considered in all procurements. Additionally, there is not a specific procurement procedure designed for innovative solutions in the current legislation.On the 15th of January 2014 three new directives on procurement rules were adopted with the general objective to simplify the procurement process and to make the whole system more flexible. A new procurement procedure has also arisen called innovation partnership.

The aim of this thesis is to research if and in that case how, marketing of Swedish public libraries is used as a possible work method in a time when they are marked by changes in the form of cut backs and technical innovations. With a strive to get an overview by the possible debate I have chosen to do a closer exam of 20 texts published in five of the biggest Swedish library publications during a period of 20 years. My research is based mainly upon Philip Kotler?s marketing theories regarding non-profit organization as well as Eileen Elliot de Saéz interpretations of these to a library context. The first part of the essay therefore consists of an introduction of these, as well as a rendering of their method of work, which shows the width of the conception of marketing.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att studera och analysera vilka problem som kan föreligga då teknik utvecklad i ett forskningssammanhang vidareutvecklats och kommersialiseras i en affärskontext.Studien bygger på en kvalitativ fallstudie av hur teknikutvecklingen fortskridit mot kommersialisering inom det medicintekniska företaget SciBase AB, som utvecklat en produkt och metod för diagnostik av hudcancern malignt melanom. Analysen har genomförts utifrån ett sociotekniskt perspektiv, och bygger på teorier hämtade från STS- och IMP-fältet.Studien bekräftar svårigheten att inpassa något nytt i ett befintligt affärssammanhang, och hur befintliga relationer och regulatorer har en avgörande inverkan på vad som utvecklas till en innovation. Vidare visas att teknik påverkas av det sammanhang i vilken den utvecklas, vilket senare påverkar möjligheten att inbädda tekniken i en affärskontext..

Syftet med denna uppsats är att studera innovations- processen i ett fallföretag för att öka förståelsen för konsumentens betydelse och roll i denna. Studien är av kvalitativ, explorativ och abduktiv karaktär. Primärdata har samlats in med hjälp av djupintervjuer med utvalda personer inom Lantmännen och Lantmännen Cerealia. Sekundärdata har samlats in från litteratur, vetenskapliga artiklar samt elektroniska dokument. Kapitlet behandlar teorier om begreppet innovation, innovationsprocesser genom tiderna samt olika sätt för att integrera konsumenten i processen.

During the beginning of the 19th century Sweden is effected by the Napoleonic Wars and in the aftermath of the war Sweden looses Finland to Russia. This loss leads to the dismissal of King Gustav IV Adolf and the introduction of the Bernadotte dynasty on the Swedish throne. Over the century the industrialization plays a big part in the progress of Sweden. The growth of the industries leads to developments in the areas of agriculture. With this essay I would like to examine if the people on the countryside of Gotland keep the same pace as the people on the mainland in their introduction of new things.
