This thesis treats the normative power of the European Union and its affect on Macedonia. The main purpose has been to look closer with the use of the application of Ian Manners theory of normative power on the Macedonian case. The focus will be to answer the following questions: Does the European Union act as a normative power in relation to Macedonia, if so, how are these values diffused? Has there been any effect of the spreading of these values? This paper attempts to replicate a study from 2009 about users reading habits and the future of e?books. Due to the increased use of smartphones and tablets since 2009, there is a reason to reasearch if the perception and use of e?books has changed. The methods used is qualitative interviews complemented with an online questionnaire.

Researchers points out that social media has become a powerful venue to spread news, both for the news business and the users. Although the news diffusion has become a phenomenon to be reckoned with, we have found no research in Sweden about what motivate users of social media to share news.This thesis work therefore investigates news sharing on the social network Facebook by examining user motives in the light of the media theory uses and gratifications. A web survey was conducted and distributed to students at a Swedish university. The result showed that expression was the strongest motive to share news on Facebook, and the item that was highly valued by the students was to give other valuable information. The result also showed that other motives for sharing news was socialization, information, status and entertainment. .

Det utarbetas ständigt nya redovisningsprinciper vilket medför att företag måste anpassa och förändra sin redovisning för att uppfylla de nya kraven. Företag kan uppfatta dessa nya redovisningsprinciper som komplicerade samt att dem kan vara resurskrävande för företagen att implementera. Syftet med studien har varit att genom en fallstudie belysa hur företag tar till sig och anpassar sig till nya redovisningsprinciper samt beskriva vilka faktorer som påverkar företags agerande vid implementeringen av dessa. För att besvara detta syfte har vi intervjuat två koncernföretag samt skatteverket. Detta har givit en djupare förståelse för hur företag agerar vid implementeringen av en ny redovisningsprincip och påvisat att det finns en skillnad mellan hur större och mindre företag agerar.

The foundation of our study is five strategically selected printed advertisements which all contains signs that refer to digital medias. Through a quality content analysis, we are studying how advertisers may use a room with extended communication too enlarge the space given in a printed advertisement. The potential in these rooms are proposing a social connection and a flexible interaction by providing content that is not possible to create in a printed advertisement. The form of communication is changing and there is a two-way communication created in an obvious way. The different kinds of roles in the communication process are here partially integrated with each other.

Syftet med vårt arbete är att ur ett företags perspektiv ta reda på vem som i första hand påverkar och driver modelivscykelns hastighet på den svenska marknaden. För att uppnå vårt syfte valde vi att utföra en kvalitativ undersökning. Telefonintervjuer utfördes med konsumenter och producenter, därefter analyserades och tolkades empirin med hjälp av teorin. Modelivscykeln, från det att ett mode uppkommer till det att det anses föråldrat, upplevs gå fortare. Vi tycker att behovet av mode kan likställas med en process.

Intangible assets are often a significant part of Swedish companies? assets. Most of these are accounted for as goodwill, arising from acquisitions. After EU:s decision to adopt IFRS as the new accounting standard, intangible assets will to a larger extent be recognized separated from goodwill. This thesis aims to quantify this change and to analyze what specific intangibles are affected most by the transition to IFRS.

Tidigare undersökningar visar att nästan nio av tio gymnasieskolor använder sig av produkter från en dominerande aktör, nämligen Microsoft. Syftet med vår studie var att undersöka varför svenska gymnasieskolan inte använder sig av alternativ såsom öppen källkod och fri programvara i större utsträckning. Vi valde att avgränsa oss till att studera till den vanligast förekommande programvaran, såsom operativsystem, kontorsprogram och webbläsare. Vidare valde vi att lägga fokus på de datorer som står till elevernas förfogande. Vi genomförde en kvalitativ undersökning, baserad på intervjuer med respondenter som representerar 10 kommuner i Skåne län.
