The object of this study has been to establish whether there is a correlation between a teachers efforts in presenting, working with and creating a connection to ?real life? when working with fictional texts. A further hypothesis is that presentation, realization and the follow up activities has a correspondence to how well the goals for the lesson are achieved. In order to achieve the presented objects the methods of observation and interview are chosen. Firstly classroom observations are made and subsequently interviews with teachers that struggle with these questions on a regular basis are conducted.

The purpose of our examination was to survey how one preschool works with so called language groups, if the mother tongue is important and if the informants can see any complex of problems in the inclusive/exclusive way of working with language groups in the preschool. The literature review provides for example the three most important areas of mother tongue, which are the emotional, the social and the intellectual (Ladberg, 2000). Further it describes the difference between the conceptions integration and inclusion, when today the concept inclusion is preferred (Tøssebro, 2004). We were inspired by qualitative interviews as our method and from a phenomenographic perspective described the informants? perceptions about the named phenomenon.

Our modern swedish society is charactarized by peoples and cultures from all over the world. In this perspective I believe that young pupils of today need culture studies in school in order to understand themselves and further to recieve knowledge about different cultures, traditions and lifestyles. The present study is an attempt to investigate the potential of the ethnological culture analysis as a pedagogical method. The paper is divided into two sections; one in which I (a student teacher in swedish language training) have applied the culture analysis in a literary context. By using the culture analysis on Emily Brontë´s classic book Wuthering Heights I have tried to let typical elements from the Victorian era appear.

Återskapade våtmarker är av stor vikt för den biologiska mångfalden och särskilt viktiga för hotade simfåglar. För att öka kunskapen kring hur faktorer som våtmarkers area, ålder och fiskförekomst påverkar simfåglar i återskapade våtmarker studerades fyra våtmarker i Tinnerö naturreservat, Linköpings kommun. Av speciellt intresse var svarthakedoppingen (Podiceps auritus). Antalet svarthakedoppingar i de studerade våtmarkerna hade en positiv utveckling under våtmarkernas första år. Dock minskade antalet svarthakedoppingar i området mellan år 2009 och 2011.

Syftet med undersökningen är att se ifall lärare planerar och genomför sina lektioner olika beroende på om det är en mono- eller mångkulturell klass. För att få en så bred bild av vårt ämnesområde så använde vi oss av två olika metoder när vi samlade in data. Vi har intervjuat lärare och gjort enkäter som eleverna har besvarat i ämnet historia. Vi har besökt tre skolor som ligger i Malmö respektive Vellinge kommun där vi har intervjuat fem lärare. Vi har gått lite djupare in i vikingatiden när vi har gjort lärarintervjuerna, för att lättare kunna jämföra de olika intervjuerna.

The purpose of this study is to survey how the Sweden Democrats? success in the latest election to the Swedish parliament has changed teaching in social science. The main question is: in what way has the success of the Sweden Democrats influenced social science teaching? This leads to following sub-questions: 1) how do the social science teachers define the Sweden Democrats, 2) how do teachers relate to the Sweden Democrats in the classroom, 3) has there been a change in students? political opinions and 4) were there any discussions or proposals from the school administration which followed the parliamentary election of 2010? To answer these questions, interviews were made with four teachers. The main conclusion of this study is that the Sweden Democrats? success led to a simplification of teaching because phenomena and opinions that were previously taboo nowadays are normalized and thus have its place in the classroom.

Denna studie är utförd inom lärarutbildningen och kursen Språk och språkutveckling. Syftet med arbetet har varit att undersöka hur elever i år 1 agerar under boksamtal och vilket lärande som gestaltas i dessa samtal. Sex elever i år 1 har deltagit i en serie boksamtal som planerats och genomförts med inspiration av den sokratiska samtalsmodellen (Lindström, 2000). Studiens resultat har belysts med tre teoretiska perspektiv; ett didaktiskt perspektiv, ett receptionsteoretiskt perspektiv samt ett läsförståelseteoretiskt perspektiv. Tre kategorier av läsförståelsestrategier identifierades; att fråga, att göra inferenser och att läsa.

This graduate work is about Didactic issues related to the preschool environment. The study aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of how the preschool teachers can plan and design the indoor environment to promote children's development and learning. We will also examine how the work of the preschool indoor environment relates to the kindergarten curriculum. This will be examined through qualitative interviews with teachers at a preschool in Botkyrka municipality. The thesis is based on an inductive study method so the theoretical approach has been chosen by the informants' responses.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka tre unga bloggerskor från Jönköping och deras sätt att skriva. Genom att undersöka de grammatiska strukturerna i fem inlägg av varje bloggerska och jämföra dem med varandra, vill vi utläsa ett eventuellt gemensamt bloggspråk. I vår bakgrund beskriver vi bloggens utveckling och dess roll i den svenska skolan. Forskning kring blogg, med särskild betoning på bloggspråk, är begränsad. Vår undersökning syftar till att vara en kvalitativ studie där vi har utgått från en stilanalys kompletterad med en variabelanalys.

The goal with this thesis was to look at various aspects of how teachers and students perceived the use of various texts in the collective teaching context in which they are participants. The purpose with that was to provide insight into aspects of the Didactic processes that the texts and the usage of them are part of and demonstrate aspects of both the conditions and the opportunities for teaching conducted within the surveyed education. The essay analysis is based on interviews with four teachers and twelve students in a total of four teaching contexts (within subjects: Swedish and SO/Religion) about texts they worked with during a selected period of work.The essay is based on a theory of Kathleen MacCormick and Torlaug Hoel Lökkengaard where reading and writing are described as both an individual cognitive process and a common cultural process, impossible to completely separate from each other. The students description of their use of the texts show how they are influenced by teachers culture of teaching, in turn, influenced by the curriculum. In relation to Wiksten Folkeryd, af Geijerstam and Edling research on students movability in texts in the Swedish school, the survey shows some of the aspects that enable students to develop a higher level of movability in texts within the subject Swedish.

The objective of the present study was to highlight preschool children?s encounters with children?s literature, in a heterogeneous language context.  The idea was to identify significant features in the linkages between the reading of children?s literature, Didactic activities and children?s learning, language development and emergent literacy activities.  Our interest was directed towards the activities connected with read-alouds, as well as the preschool teacher?s perceptions of those activities.  The empiric material was collected by use of participant observations of four read-aloud sessions. After the observations the preschool teacher in charge of the observed read-aloud was in-depth interviewed. In addition, the physical print environment in the actual preschool was observed. The results indicate that the physical and social reading environment interact with each other.  Furthermore, the preschool  teachers? approaches and ways of working with literature does not always optimize the language, literacy and content area  learning opportunities for the children.

Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva tillvägagångssätt för att lära personer som sjunger ?falskt? att sjunga mer ?rent?. I bakgrundskapitlet presenteras olika teorier kring orsaker till tondövhet och falsksång utifrån forskning och litteratur, samt metoder som rekommenderas för det praktiska arbetet med detsamma. Vidare redogörs för det didaktiska perspektiv som studien har som teoretisk utgångspunkt. I metodkapitlet beskrivs den kvalitativa intervjun, vilken är den metod som använts för att genomföra resultatet.

Studien syftar till att få djupare insikt i hur några klarinettpedagoger förbereder sina elever inför musikaliska framträdanden. I bakgrundskapitlet presenteras tidigare forskning om nervositet och prestationsångest, samt olika strategier för att hantera det. Vidare presenteras studiens teoretiska utgångspunkt som utgörs av ett didaktiskt perspektiv. Den forskningsmetod som används i studien är kvalitativ forskningsintervju och det är fyra klarinettpedagoger som har intervjuats. Intervjuerna transkriberades, bearbetades och analyserades och de svar som framkommit utgör studiens resultat.

This paper is a literature review that examines how good mental calculation skills benefit pupils, which could work as a valuable learning tool for future teachers. The study addresses four key questions: ?What are the advantages of proficient mental calculations??, ?What strategies exist for mental calculation skills??, ?How can teachers accommodate their teaching to develop pupils? mental calculation skills?? and ?What has arithmetic looked like in different eras and what algorithms have been used??. Through literature searches in search engines, scientific articles were found, which formed the basis for the result segment. This was divided into two parts: A historical and a Didactic overview.
