Diagnosis means detection and isolation of faults. A model based Diagnosis system is built on a mathematical model of the system. The difficulty when constructing the Diagnosis system depends om how the model is formulated. In this report, a method is described that rewrites the model on such a form that the construction of the Diagnosis algoritm is easy. The model is transformed by two state space transformations and the result will be a system on state space form where one part of the system becomes easy to supervise.

ABSTRACTWhat kind of information and instructions with the consideration to Diagnosis do patients, treated by the dental hygienist students at the University Kristianstad, get regarding oral hygiene, diet, flour and tobacco.The aim of this study was to examine what kind of information and instructions regarding oral hygiene, diet, flour and tobacco have patients treated by the dental hygienist students at the University Kristianstad, if they had the Diagnosis caries or periodontitis. The study is based on a review of dental records of adult patients from twenty years on a supportive treatment program. In all 640 patients were enrolled at the clinic, 20050309. A selection of 100 patients treated at the clinic from 2000 was made. Fifty off the dental records should have the Diagnosis caries and fifty the Diagnosis periodontitis.

Most of the interviews were recorded and transcribed in their entirety. The data has been organised into appropriate categories and the most relevant quotes have been selected.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the cow-level association between acute hoof lesions and the somatic milk cell count in dairy cattle. Cows from three loose-housed Swedish dairy herds were enrolled in the study if they had an acute hoof lesion treated by a veterinarian or professional hoof trimmer during the preceding year, according to farmer records. Studied lesions were sole ulcer, dermatitis, interdigital necrobacillosis and hoof abscess, in each case causing lameness. For each hoof-diseased cow, 0 to 3 healthy cows were included, matched with respect to herd, breed, parity and lactation stage. Cell counts were obtained from monthly test recordings from one month before to three months after the hoof-lesion Diagnosis, and log-transformed.

Barns uppfattningar om och förståelse kring sin dyslexi : En studie i hur barn upplever sin dyslexidiagnos

AbstractThis act is about how five children with dyslexia consider and understands their Diagnosis. It is also about their self-image, future sights and about how their school life is compared with before they got their Diagnosis. The study is implemented autumn 2011 on a medium-sized school in central Sweden. The survey was implemented through interviews with the five children, of which four was girls and one was a boy. The study shows that the children understand their dyslexia relatively well, but that they experience that it is bothersome to live with dyslexia.

Barn med ADHD-diagnos : En studie om den sociala miljöns inverkan på beteenden som föranleder ADHD-diagnos

The purpose of this study was to illustrate how professionals, who work with psychosocialproblems among children, look at the impact of social factors on behavior that causes ADHDDiagnosis and at the relationship between social factors and the increased Diagnosis that hasoccurred in recent years. To answer our purpose, we chose a qualitative approach byinterviewing six professionals who had different professional affiliations. We analyzed theresults using systems theory and attachment theory. The results showed that the professionalssaw various social factors that influenced the behaviors that cause ADHD Diagnosis, particularlytroublesome growing environment and the school environment that requires greater cognitiveability and social skills of children today. They also saw that social factors could have an impacton the increase of diagnoses, particularly that the Diagnosis can result in that the understandingchanges and that it is considered easier to get extra support at school with a Diagnosis..

The method in this study to collect material about the teacher´s perspective on the subject is semi-structured interviews. The collected material has been analyzed and interpreted from a socio-cultural perspective.

Background:Approximately 300 children get a malign cancer Diagnosis every year in Sweden, 80 % of them survive. Parents of the children who have a cancer Diagnosis experienced that they didn't have mental health, nurses care of parents are to keep a mental health so they can handle their parent role. Nurses should meet families through their life-world because caring should be done with dignity and integrity.Aim:The aim of this study was to describe how parents experience the daily life with a child who has a cancer Diagnosis.Method:The method used in this study was a literature study based on autobiography, which means analysis of autobiographies. Four books were analyzed.Results:Four categories emerged from the analysis of the autobiographies, experience of powerless, desire of a regular, experience of anxiety and fear, to experience joy and have hope.Conclusion:This study shows how life changes when a child in the family gets a cancer Diagnosis and how it affected the parents. The study points out the importants to create a great relationship between the nurses and the family so they can have a good care..

Modellering och simulering av det evaporativa bränslesystemet i en personbil

This thesis work has been performed at the department of Diagnosis and dependability at Volvo Car Company, Torslanda. The background of this project is based on interest in ascertaining how different factors possibly can affect a Diagnosis method, which has been developed to find leaks in the fuel tank and evaporation system. According to the OBD II requirements leaks with an orifice diameter larger or equal to 0,5 mm, must be detected. The idea of the Diagnosis method is to create an over pressure in the system with an air-pump. The current through the pump is measured and correlates to the power consumed by the pump.

Allergi - en påminnelse om vårt ursprung : en kvantitativ enkätundersökning över förekomsten avallergier bland studenterna på Gymnastik & idrottshögskolan i Stockholm

Aim - To investigate the prevalence of allergies among students at The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH) in Stockholm and relate it to factors that previous research in this area found to influence the risk of developing allergic diseases.- Can Hygiene Hypothesis or more specifically the relationships of family structure, socioeconomic status and the degree of overcrowding explain the existence of allergies among students at GIH?- Can the prevalence of allergies among students at GIH be explained by any of the known relationship for the prevalence of allergic diseases this study has taken into account?Method - Quantitative survey of students at GIH in the fall of 2013.Results - 214 students from The Swedish School of Sport and Health Science participated in the study, with representation from the first - and last - year students of all educational programs. More than twice the proportion of those diagnosed respondents said that their mother smoked during pregnancy or while they were breast-fed compared with the same group of respondents with no allergic Diagnosis. The correlation is not statistically significant (p -value: 0.054). The majority of respondents with an allergic Diagnosis indicated that their home mopped once a week or more for most of their childhood, while the majority of respondents with no allergic Diagnosis stated that their home mopped less often.

The purpose of this research has been to study and find out if a diagnose AD/HD is of importance. Does a diagnostic significance matter for how to support and respond to children in school? Are diagnosed children with signs of AD/HD treated differently than children without Diagnosis? My study is based on input from teachers, special educators, from two different schools and also one doctor and one parent.I have interviewed teachers, special educators, one physician and one parent. I have been using qualitative interviews with tape recorders and emailed them with open questions. I have been using literature; see bibliography.

The aim of this study is to examine social workers? experiences of how the ADHD-Diagnosis affects their work with children and youths living in foster care and how it affects the individuals and families themselves. The study is built upon five qualitative interviews and the results are analyzed through a theoretical framework that constitutes ADHD as not only the symptoms and the medical disorder but also as a social phenomenon where the disorder is socially constructed by the current society, norms, and knowledge. The study shows that the social workers? do not rely on the sole ADHD-Diagnosis in the understanding and guidance of the children and their foster parents, but rather see the individual needs of each children.

Utveckling av OBD-II-gränssnitt för fjärrdiagnostik av fordon

This Master Thesis documents the development of an On Board Diagnosis (OBD-II) interface for remote Diagnosis of vehicles. The Master Thesis is part of a project at the company Wayfinder Systems in Lund. The purpose of this thesis was to design a scantool that communicates with a vehicle through its OBD-II port using relevant standards. In order to make the OBD-II interface development easier, a car simulator was first built. Both the car simulator and the OBD-II interface were implemented using a linux computer running a C-program with serial communication with an external electrical interface.

This study intends to investigate the experiences of labeling on people with a ADHD diagnos and how individuals with an ADHD Diagnosis handles labeling. In today's society normality is is something that is pursued and the individuals that do not meet the normality are perceived as deviant. The study is conducted with a qualitative method and is based on three autobiographies where individuals with an ADHD Diagnosis writes about their life. The study deals with postmodern constructivism which is explaining that the normalization and deviances are constantly changing, both depending on time and context. The results and analysis of this study are presented under three main headings that are related to the study's research questions.

En sen ADHD-diagnos : Individers upplevelser av en ADHD-diagnostisering i vuxen ålder

The purpose of this study was to investigate how an ADHD Diagnosis late in life as an adult can have effected childhood and adult life. It is a qualitative study executed by interviewing four adults, two men and two women. The individuals in the study had all experienced difficulties in their childhood and in school and had all felt different from the rest of the ambient. None of the interviewees were on medication for ADHD but most were open for trying. Support from school or other settings had been minimal.
