Diabetes typ-2 är en sjukdom som kräver regelbunden medicinering för att patienten ska ha möjlighet att leva ett normalt liv med så få komplikationer som möjligt. Den här studien undersöker följsamheten till orala diabetesläkemedel bland patienter i åldern 70-79 år. Följsam anses en patient vara som tar medicin mellan 80-120 procent av ordinationen och i denna studie har vi likställt det med mängd uthämtat läkemedel i förhållande till ordinationen och utköpsfrekvensen. Avsikten med projektet är att med hjälp av det nya nationella läkemedelsregistret studera följsamheten samt bedöma om de som har indikationen utskriven på receptet har bättre följsamhet än de som inte har det. Materialet till studien kommer från data som registrerats på apoteken i Sverige.

The field of veterinary nursing should be based upon research and proven experience. Few studies have been performed within the area of distal limb bandages. Therefore the aim of this study was to examine and describe how to place a distal fore limb bandage based on proven experience. Data material was collected through four interviews with professional veterinary nurses, and then analyzed using a qualitative content analysis. In the analysis data material was transcribed and then divided into meaningful units that responded to the aim. The meaningful units were then condensed.

Aim: The aim of this study was to examine health professionals´ experiences of giving advice regarding sleep to parents of infants and to perform and evaluate an intervention in the form of introducing information about the sleep of infants.Method: The study was designed as an intervention study with a qualitative approach where data was collected from two focus groups in the form of interviews. The intervention consisted of the information material Sugen på sömn. There were five participants whom three of them participated in the second interview. The interviews were processed by content analysis.Results: Health professionals´ experience of giving advice on sleep was summarized in three themes. The experiences of giving advice in interaction with parents, health professional themselves experienced the power to influence the parents with the advice they gave, while the parents' previous experience and knowledge impacted on how the advice came into practice.

Aim: To evaluate nurse student?s apprehension of an interprofessional seminar as part of training. Method: A descriptive, qualitative study built on the analysis of 43 questionnaires and one group interview with nurse student?s who participated in the seminar. For the analysis of the collected material we used the method of analysis of contents as described by Graneheim and Lundman.

Clinicians in veterinary practice have responsibilities for the development of global antibiotic resistance. In some cases, antibiotics are contraindicated or even useless in wound treatments and therefore other options are needed. Antiseptics may be another option but their use are controversial and may be questioned by owners. As professionals, it may be very difficult to be able to motivate this choice of treatment. The aim of this paper is to gain knowledge about four antiseptics; iodine, silver, polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB) and honey to make it easier for veterinary nurses and other clinicians in veterinary practices to decide their potential use. The assessment will be made with consideration of the available evidence concerning the properties, usability and the animal?s experience. The results showed a lack of evidence in in-vivo studies in horses, particularly studies within the field of veterinary nursing.

Denna rapport fokuserar uteslutande på typ 2-diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Hur välegenvården fungerar påverkar prognosen hos personer med T2DM.

Denna uppsatssyfte var att ta reda på vilken kännedom som finns om de svenskanäringsrekommendationerna hos människor på ett antal svenska arbetsplatser. Syftet har även inne-fattat att ta reda på huruvida man använder sig av denna kännedom eller inte.Metod: Enkvantitativ ansats i en tvärsnittsstudie har använts i denna undersökning och hundratio enkäter har blivit besvarade. Dessa enkäter har analyserats både kvantitativt och kvalitativt.Resultatetvisade att majoriteten av respondenterna inte kände till de svenska näringsrekom-mendationerna. Majoriteten var också omedvetna om hur den procentuella energifördelningen såg ut. Jämförbart med tidigare studier så underskattade männen rekommendationerna för grönsaker medan kvinnorna hade mer kännedom om rekommendationerna som helhet.

Svensk föreningsidrott är idag en stor arena för ungdomar, där de erbjuds en meningsfylld och hälsosam fritid.  Fotboll är en av de största idrotterna i landet, och det finns ett stort antal föreningar som bedriver verksamhet inom idrotten. Samtliga av dessa föreningar använder sig av stadgar för att styra sin verksamhet, men det finns också klubbar som har tagit styrningen ett steg längre, och skapat dokument för hur utbildningen av ungdomarna ska se ut.Studien syftar till att undersöka hur en specifik förening använder sig av en så kallad spelarutbildningsplan, med huvudinriktning på tränarnas arbete. Huvudmotiv till studien är att fylla en lucka vad gäller forskning inriktad mot implementeringsarbete av styrdokument inom idrottsvärlden.  Med hjälp av kvalitativa metoder som textanalys, intervjuer och observationer har studien resulterat i att man kan se brister i föreningens kontroll av tränarna, men att detta nödvändigtvis inte behöver vara negativt ur tränarnas synpunkt.Sammanfattningsvis kan det sägas att fotboll inte bara styrs av de dokument som finns, utan till stor del av de människor som aktivt arbetar inom idrotten. Likt den forskning som gjorts inom företagsekonomin finns i vår studie tecken på att bristande implementering kan förekomma även inom idrottsföreningar.

Diabetes är en mycket vanlig sjukdom världen över och antalet insjuknande ökar, vilket mycket beror på samhällets modernisering och livsstilsförändringar. Underliggande behov bör lyftas fram för att tillgodogöra sig betydande kunskap. Sjukdomen medför även komplikationer, så som neuropati som drabbar nerver och perifera blodkärl, vilket ofta resulterar i sår. Genom undervisning gällande egenvård kan patient och sjukvårdspersonal tillsammans arbeta förebyggande så att komplikationer undviks eller förbättras. Det har dock visat sig att undervisningen inte tas in på ett effektivt sätt av patienterna.
