Min kompetens är viktig! : En kvalitativ studie om specialistsjuksköterskans kompetens inom onkologisk vård

Background:An increasing number of patients with an oncology diagnose will be seen in the future. The oncology care is complex and in great need of nurses with a high level of competence. There is a lack of previous research in the specialist oncology nurses competence and therefore knowledge of their skills can reveal an understanding of their competence.Aim:The aim of the study was to describe the competence of the specialist oncology nurse.Method:Four oncology nurses and two directors of oncology care were interviewed. The interview text was analyzed using qualitative content analysis.Results:The result showed that the oncology nurses had Developed six different competences within different areas. These competence areas were assertiveness, patient-centered care, ethical and moral-, pedagogical-, to lead and Develop- and theoretical competence.

Let´s Dance : För att utveckla motoriken?

AbstractDancing and the body`s ability to express itself has been an interest of mine for a long time. For that reason I would like to find out more on how you as a pedagogue can work with dancing as a way to Develop motoric activity. The purpose of my research is to find out how pree-school-pedagogue`s and sportsteacher`s are working with dancing, and also how children in a pree-school class apprehends the idea of dancing before and after a dancelesson.My question for this paper is:How can dancetutoring in pree-school Develop children`s motoric activity?To find out the answer for this question I have also chosen to use relevant litterature within the subject. Since the examination covers only the answers from four pedagogue`s and six children I can not make a generell conclusion that covers all children or pree-schools.

En kulturskola för några?

Is culture accessible to all in Sweden or do challenges in accessibility begin in childhood? During the academic year of 2010/2011 the Schools for Music and Arts in Göteborg participated in a project entitled En kulturskola för alla (A School for Music and Arts for All). This thesis' objective is to describe the project as well as examine the method the Schools of Music and Arts use to include children with disabilities and what suggestions can be made to further Develop the project. Through En kulturskolla för alla, approximately 200 children with disabilities now haave better teachers. The project included 18 music and arts teachers from eight schools.

Läraren och den matematiska kommunikationen : Hur lärare tolkar och arbetar med matematisk kommunikation i årskurs Fk-3

The Swedish curriculum points out mathematical communication as one of the importantabilities that students need to Develop. Previous studies show that students have not been given the right conditions to Develop this ability sufficiently. The purpose of this study is to investigate how some Swedish teachers interpret mathematical communication and how the work with this takes place in their classrooms.The investigation consists of qualitative interviews with six teachers in the grades of Fk-3. The interviews have been focused around the teacher's interpretation regarding mathematical communication, how this is reflected in their work in the classroom and also if they see any advantages or difficulties in working with mathematical communication with their pupils.The result of the study shows that the teachers are well aware of the importance of communication and they have a will and an intention to let the pupils communicate mathematically. Mathematical communication is emphasized mainly as important for the pupil's learning and understanding.

IUP - ett specialpedagogiskt verktyg för att utveckla skolan?

The aim of this study is to see if the individual Developing plans (i.e. individuella utvecklingsplaner) can be used as a tool for the special needs teacher (i.e. specialpedagog) to Develop the school in its challenge to meet the needs of every child.  The study is based on contentanalycis and interviews, in order to understand how one school worked with the students´ individual Developing plans.The results showed that the school did not use the plans as a tool to Develop the education for each and every child, since the plans didn´t affect the tuition.The headmaster did not include the special needs teacher in the responsibility of Developing the school.Even though our results showed that the school didn´t use the individual Developing plans as a tool for the special educator to Develop the school, we still found a possibility for Developing the individual educational plans in the capacity of the special needs teacher. The study showed a need of dialogue in which teachers can reflect and problematize their actions and their teaching for the purpose of Developing new understanding and new actions in the work with the individual educational plans. We believe that the profession of special needs teacher should supervise these dialogues..

Undervisningsmetoder för elever med autism : En studie av pedagogers metoder med avsikt att utveckla lärandet för elever med autistiska syndrom

This essay talks about how teachers in schools are working with a particular focus on students with autistic syndrome. The aim is to investigate the methods used for these students, who Develop their learning and achieve the goals of the school. The methods that were used in this study were two interviews in two different schools in central Sweden where teachers and professionals were interviewed. One part of the study was to compare both schools to see which methods they used and when they used them. My interest for autistic students started during my practice in a school.

 The aim of this essay was to examine the way preschool teachers and children converse during school meals, and also the way preschool teachers start and Develop conversations during meals. The conversations were analyzed from the topic of conversation and the teachers' ways of using language acts such as questions, remarks, exhortations. Språkutvecklande arbetssätt : i det mångspråkiga klassrummet

The purpose of this study was to see how the teacher works with children´s language and what working methods they use to Develop language, as well as knowledge, among the children in a multilingual school.The main questions for the essay:? What reasons the interviewed teachers about language Development?? What approach do the interviewed teachers describe that they use in their multi-lingual children?s group?In order to collect empirical data to my study I chose to use a qualitative method, which consisted of interviews with four teachers in a multilingual class. The study is based on a socio-cultural perspective where social interaction, blocking, communication and language use is the main tool for children's learning and Development.The results of my study revealed that teachers realize that when they involve teamwork in class it enhances the activity among the children. In particular when the bilingual children use the language actively in different contexts where they communicate and discuss with each other in the teaching subject. When the children use language in different contexts it also enables them to Develop linguistically and in terms of knowledge.

Identitetsskapande mammor : på gott och ont

This is a qualitative social psychology study, which aims to describe how mothers with 1-2 year old children Develop their identities, seen from Symbolic Interactionistic perspective. Five young mothers have been interviewed, through qualitative interviews and self reports. Through this data I have attempted to establish how these women Develop their identities when they have been mothers for 1 or 2 years. The conclusions I have drawn is that the identities change radically with becoming a mother and all respondents take different decisions outfrom their identities as mother. There seems to exist a need of more knowledge about how to bring the identity of a woman and a mother together and create a new entity.

Jämförelse av den demokratiska utvecklingen i Bosnien-Hercegovina och Kroatien

This essay will try to explain and compare the different Development steps which Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina have taken after the war. How could countries with such similar backgrounds Develop in such different ways? By analyzing and comparing the two countries the purpose was to examine how these countries which had so much in common could Develop in so different ways. My two questions are: What similarities and differences are there between the Development which Bosnia and Croatia have taken after the war? Why have Croatia succeeded and not Bosnia?My analysis showed that the main reason to the difference between these countries was that Bosnia is divided; all ethnic groups in Bosnia only consider what's best for their own ethnic group and not what's best for the country. Sluta drömma, fram med vardagen! en analys av den realistiska strömningens idéer i fyra svenska barnböcker utgivna mellan åren 1965 1975

The aim of this Masters thesis is to investigate if the ideas of the realistic tale in Swedish literature for children can be identified by examining four books for children. The four books are all published between the years 1965 to 1975. The methods used to identify the ideas of the realistic tale are the concepts of alienation and antiestablishment. By using the theory of true and false consciousness represented by Diderichsen and the theory of Socialisation by Giddens, two questions are addressed. The questions are if the ideas of the realistic tale Develop a true or a false consciousness.
