The value of a good reputation for organizations is increasing today as consumers and citizens become more aware of brands. If a crisis hits an organization, there is now more to lose than before concerning reputation. Therefore the organization?s communication strategies must be developed to sustain the organization?s reputation during and after a crisis.In the field of crisis communication there are two distinguished theories which concern what an organization with help from crisis communication should do to undergo a crisis without losing its reputation. These theories are image repair theory and situational crisis communication theory (SCCT).

Ohälsa bland ungdomar i Sverige inkluderar flera typer av folkhälsoproblem där psykisk ohälsa ökar och drabbar allt fler, vilket bland annat tar sig uttryck i självskadebeteende. Denna uppsats behandlar relationen mellan självskadebeteende och andra riskbeteenden utifrån datamaterialet kopplat till Liv & Hälsa ung i Sörmland. Det är en återkommande totalundersökning om levnadsvanor, riskbeteenden och hälsa bland elever i årskurs 7, 9 och 2 på gymnasiet. Enkäten besvarades av 2750 elever från årskurs 9 och 2770 elever från årskurs 2. Endast flickor i årskurs 9 (n=1313) och år 2 (n=1384) på gymnasiet inkluderas i denna uppsats.

The purpose of this study is to hightlight experiences of living in a relationship where BDSM is being exercised. The acronym is an umbrella term for bondage/discipline, dominance/submission and sadomasochism. The study is based on qualitative interviews with five persons who define themselves as BDSM practitioners. The overall questions of this study are: How does the BDSM practice appear in everyday life? How did the practice start and how has it developed over time? What's included in the sexual BDSM practice? The empirical material has been analyzed with interactionism as the theoritical framework. The picture that emerges is complex.

Föreliggande studie genomfördes i form av en enkätundersökning och syftade till att kartlägga förekomsten av självskadehandlingar bland studenter vid Lunds Universitet. Ett annat syfte var att ta reda på i vilken utsträckning faktorer, som påverkan från subkulturella strömningar, medias influenser eller en önskan att utmana tabun och "spränga" gränser kan vara bidragande till fenomenets uppkomst och vidmakthållande. Könsskillnader, frekvens och motiv bakom självskadehandlingarna var andra faktorer som undersöktes. Resultaten visar att 31.8 % av studenterna någon gång hade skadat sig själva. Studien fann inga signifikanta skillnader mellan könen i förekomst av självskadebeteende, vilket däremot gjordes avseende anledningen till självskadehandlingarna.

Pharmaceuticals that are found in marine ecosystems are a threatening environmental concern, which is known to harm both animal and plant life. One of the reasons for this problem is that the waste water treatment techniques are not optimized to clear waste water from its pharmaceuticals contain. In this master thesis four Swedish treatment wetlands were studied, and their ability to reduce numerous pharmaceuticals in waste water. The four treatment wetlands that were studied were those in Oxelösund, Trosa, Nynäshamn and Eskilstuna. Two ecotoxicological tests and chemical analysis were used.

Social media provides, as many points out, new possibilities for marketing. Marketing in social media requires a two way communication, rather than the traditional marketing where the communication model is typically sender ? receiver.To create a marketing campaign that is suitable for a two way communication model has its difficulties and risks as well as its opportunities. Opportunities in the sense that the campaign can become a viral, a Word of mouth and create a Buzz, which will reach potential customers, to a bigger quantity for lower costs, with a message that will make a different impact from the types of commercial messages we are used to. Risks in the sense that the message, if not properly aimed and phrased, can be turned overnight into something that humiliates the company and possibly harm its brand.The difficulties in creating such a campaign is to create something that will catch people?s attention, discuss and forward it, while at the same time avoid getting hurt.We aim to describe the internet from a cultural context, and from that point of view explore the types of misunderstandings which often seem to happen when a corporate message is created and sent out in social media, how to avoid putting the image of a company in danger when doing this, and examine if there is ways to know how the message will be received.

The intention of this study was to examine the interaction between authorities. More specifically it had a purpose to look at the ongoing cooperation between social workers and staff of special homes of closed institutional youth care. The sanction system for young offenders? reform of 1999 where young people between the ages of 15-17 who have committed serious crimes, can be sentenced to secure institutional treatment instead of prison, aims to counteract the harm which can result from a stay in prison. The social welfare board in the young person´s local authority and the national board of institutional care shall cooperate during the youth?s placement at the special home of closed institutional youth care.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the understanding of the diagnoses ADHD and DAMP within different professional categories in the educational system, how it is being addressed and how this affect their work with children diagnosed with ADHD or DAMP. We also wanted to shed some light on the debate between Kärfve and Gillberg, about whether the diagnoses of ADHD and DAMP are social constructed problems or biological and genetic disorders. More specifically, our study was of a qualitative nature and consisted of interviews with seven persons working in six different professions within the educational system. The respondents all worked in school environments but with varied roles and thus varied experience of children with ADHD/DAMP. The interviews and literature studies revealed the complexity of ADHD and DAMP and also the diversity of the debate regarding the diagnoses.

In this study we have examined in which way the horse is used in Equine Assisted Therapy, and what effects the treatment staff experience and describes that the interaction with horses has on girls who self-harms. Our Empirical data was collected through qualitative methods such as interviews, participant observation and informal interviews with a total of six different informants, from five different activities with Equine Assisted Therapy for girls who self-harms. In the analysis we have assumed symbolic interactionism, a theory focusing on the human as a social being, where the self-image alters in the social interaction with other human beings. We interwove this theory with the Biophilia hypothesis, an explanatory model concerning human?s relationship to animals and nature.The conclusions we have found in the results are:Equine Assisted Therapy is a complementary treatment comprises both horseback riding and exercises which is not based on the horsebackEquine Assisted Therapy almost always involves three parts, the therapist, the client and the horse.

Due to the increase of the emission of greenhouse gas and climate changes more and more customers demand environmentally sustainable products. The increased demand of sustainable products from cradle to grave is something that has affected the food sector. Many retailers within the food sector feel that they are less or more forced to be environmentally friendly. Nowadays many retailers have chosen to show customers and stakeholders that they want to ?do good? by publishing annual sustainability reports. The Swedish food market has been one of many markets investing in being environmentally friendly.

Bakgrund: Begreppet självskadebeteende är svårdefinierat och tycks inte ha nått konsensus inom vården. Evidens tyder på en ökad förekomst av, framför allt unga, patienter med självskadebeteende. Patienterna uttrycker ett stort behov av att sjuksköterskorna har en förståelse för deras livsvärld och självskadebeteendets bakomliggande orsaker. Sjuksköterskor å andra sidan upplever att de saknar utbildning och tillfälle för reflektion för att möjliggöra en ökad förståelse och förbättrad vård kring patienter med självskadebeteende. Syfte: Att belysa sjuksköterskans upplevelse av vårdandet av patienter med självskadebeteende inom akutpsykiatrisk öppenvård.

The purpose of this essay is to explore how social workers view a possible connection between exposure to honour violence and development of mental illness and/or substance abuse. We first heard of the possible connection from a voluntary organization who work in this field and who believe that this connection could be common. We therefore wanted to explore this from the perspective of social workers who come into contact with victims of honour violence: was this something they had noticed? How did they deal with it if it was noticed? We also asked how the possible connection could be interpreted and, supposing the social workers had failed to notice the connection, why this could be. We made five qualitative interviews with six social workers working in different contexts whom within their work come across honour-related issues.

Organisations constantly live under the potential threat of events and accidents that seriously could harm the organisation. Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB, the company that this master thesis focus on, is in no aspect excepted from this threat. Through an early identification of near misses and the taking of corrective action in use, Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB has managed to reduce the likelihood and the consequence of events and accidents. The purpose of this master thesis is to evalutate Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB?s operation experience process on the basis of IAEA?s and WANO?s requirements within the field of operation experience and to develop a usable system applicably within the field of operation experience.The thesis is divided into two parallel tracks, where one is the evaluation of the operation experience process and the other the design of a usable system, applicably within the field of operation experience.

Bakgrund: Forskning påvisar att självskadeproblematiken har ökat vilket delvis kan bero på samhällets ökande krav på unga människor. I omvårdnadsmöten med unga människor som har ett självskadebeteende redovisar forskning att sjuksköterskor brister i att uppmärksamma patienternas verkliga problem på grund av att de saknar kunskap. Detta kan leda till frustration och maktlöshet.Syfte: Studiens syfte var att beskriva på vilket sätt sjuksköterskan skapar omvårdnadsmöten med unga människor som har ett självskadebeteende.Metod: Empirisk studie med kvalitativ ansats utifrån semistrukturerande intervjuer med fyra sjuksköterskor verksamma vid barn-och ungdomspsykiatrin. Innehållsanalys modifierad efter Malterud (2009).Resultat: Ur innehållsanalysen har tre kategorier utvecklats; Insikt om den andre, Insikt om sig själv och Insikt om att ta hjälp av andra. Dessa beskriver betydelsen av att sjuksköterskan har insikt i mötet med unga människor som skadar sig själva.Slutsats: Analysens resultat, Insikt om den andre, Insikt om sig själv och Insikt om att ta hjälp av andra förtydliggjorda och förklarade med Erikssons teori att mötet med unga människor med ett självskadebeteende sätts lidandet i ett nytt ljus, sjuksköterskan har modet att bekräfta sig själv och att det finns samspel i en gemenskap.Klinisk betydelse: Förhoppningen med denna studie är att upplysa blivande sjuksköterskor och legitimerade sjuksköterskor om innebörden av att ha insikt om den sårbara patienten, insikt om sig själv och insikt om att se sina begränsningar för att ta hjälp av andra genom reflektion och kunskap..
