FörÀldradelaktighet i förskolan ur förÀldrars och pedagogers synvinkel

AbstractThis act is about how five children with dyslexia consider and understands their diagnosis. It is also about their self-image, future sights and about how their school life is compared with before they got their diagnosis. The study is implemented autumn 2011 on a medium-sized school in central Sweden. The survey was implemented through interviews with the five children, of which four was girls and one was a boy. The study shows that the children understand their dyslexia relatively well, but that they experience that it is bothersome to live with dyslexia.

This report describes the development and implementation of a system for transmitting digital information at high speeds from a miniaturized submersible developed by the Ångström Space Technology Centre at Uppsala University. For instance, the vehicle shall transmit image data ? even stream live video - through an optical fibre to a monitor in a ground station. Hence, the system shall be used both to convert the image data to make it transmittable, and to recreate it at the receiver.The work includes a pre-study of the programming language and the technology used. A concept for the solution is presented together with main components later broken down into internal functions.

FörhÄllandet mellan image och tjÀnstekvalitet: en surveyundersökning vid Piteortens försÀkringsbolag

Syftet med denna uppsats var att belysa förhÄllandet mellan image och tjÀnstekvalitet inom försÀkrings-branschen. För att kunna besvara vÄrt syfte studerade vi skillnaden mellan förvÀntad och upplevd tjÀnst. Vi studerade Àven i vilken utstrÀckning olika faktorer pÄverkar den upplevda kvaliteten av en tjÀnst, samt vilket inflytande image har pÄ kunden vid köp av tjÀnst. En enkÀtundersökning gjordes bland ett försÀkringsbolags kunder, dÀr vi undersökte SERVQUALS sex dimensioner samt imagens pÄverkan. VÄr empiriska undersökning visade att det fanns en klar koppling mellan image och tjÀnstekvalitet.

SjÀlvbild: pÄverkan och motstÄndskraft ur ett utvecklingsekologiskt perspektiv

Our paper is a study about youth and their self-images. During our practical training period we found that the problems young people had always were connected with their self-image. We therefore wanted to find out what youth believe influence their self-image. The purpose of our study was to examine young people and their self-images in a perspective of the ecological systems model. Essential issues have been what self-images young people have, what they consider influence their self-image most, how they think they can resist influence from the environment and how they would like to be influenced by the environment if they could decide themselves.

Within the fields of business as well as the academic, there is a growing interest for the role images play in an organized conception of the world. This paper acknowledges the relevance of such images and ideas, and its purpose is to examine the fixed ideas and conceptions of the world as they appear in a Swedish organizational context. The Swedish Trade Council is a hybrid organization between the state and private sector with an outspoken purpose of defining an image of the outside world for small and medium size enterprises in Sweden. The underlying question in focus for this study is: What central conceptions of the world appear in the Swedish Trade Council?s information films ?VÀrldens möjligheter?? Within organizational studies, a postcolonial theory has to a large extent been overlooked.

Malmö som stad, upplevelse och varumÀrke: En diskursanalys av en postindustriell stads framtidsvisioner

This is a discourse analysis concerning the visions for Malmö's future. Three concepts are studied to see which meaning these are given in the Malmö context. The studied concepts are ? development (utveckling), industry (nÀringsliv) and citizen (befolkning).The meanings of these concepts are studied against a backdrop of theories of inclusion/exclusion in general and inclusion/exclusion in the city more specific. Michael FoucaultŽs notion of a discourse which stigmatizes those not following a behaviour which is defined as being right and normal is central to this.

This study focuses the development on the protection of landscapes with old industries and how it nowadays is appreciated by the inhabitants. The overall aim of this study is to increase the knowledge about how the so called industrial landscape in Norrköping became a cultural heritage that the citizens want to protect. The study also aims to investigate the citizensŽ knowledge about the industrial landscape in Norrköping, and what value they think that the place possesses. Data was collected by an information research and six qualitative interviews. The interviews where analysed by qualitative methods techniques.

Glasriket : - Mer Àn bara glas

Uppsatsen behandlar Àmnet destinationsutveckling pÄ en landsbygdsdestination och vad som krÀvs av en destination och dess aktörer för att lyckas med utvecklingen. Syftet med denna studie Àr att undersöka vilka faktorer som Àr viktiga för att regionen Glasriket ska utvecklas som destination. För att besvara uppsatsens syfte har författarna anvÀnt sig av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod dÀr fem aktörer i Glasriket intervjuades om destinationsutvecklingen i Glas-riket. Intervjuresultatet visade att informanterna Àr medvetna om de brister som hindrar Glas-riket frÄn att utvecklas. Framförallt anser aktörerna i Glasriket att det finns potential att ut-veckla destinationen genom att bredda bilden av att Glasriket inte endast innefattar glas.Idag utgör glas den frÀmsta anledningen till att besöka Glasriket.

Participatory public art projects in run down residential areas - a discussion on how to run the process

Participation, public art and participatory public art as phenomenons and subjects have been studied and discussed. With interviews and observations as a base, we have studied projects and discussed participation, effect and quality in relation to these. Furthermore we have looked at how the participatory art processes work in Sweden and England. This essay seeks to discuss the process of participatory public art and to emphasize the elements contributing to the quality of this process. It is up to us as planners to recognize the possibilities for a qualitative place. To mediate between different interests, for example between politicians and stakeholders, between economics and quality, between the place and its users, between individuals and the community, and in our case between artists, users and the municipality. Public art has gone from being about the product, an art piece, to becoming more of a process, from non interactive to interactive. Participation ranges from receiving information to play an active part in the process. Four cases have been studied, taken both from Sweden and England, showing the diversity of processes connected to Participatory Public Art. From interviews conducted in Sweden and England information and thoughts have been received and they show a higher degree of use of participatory public art in England, and also a higher consciousness.
