Stress and time pressure is more present in todays labor markets. In financial markets a securities broker is forced to take decisions on investments under high cognitive load and under extreme time pressure. The research of decision under risk gained new ground with the development of the prospect theory and gave us new insights to the decision making of men. Prospect theory has shown that people are risk seekers when dealing with loss decisions and risk avert when dealing with profit decisions. The value function are defined over gains and losses.

This is a bachelor thesis that studies and discuss the question: How can we develop our individual narrative technique with sound design in a Swedish drama production? We have done research and empirical studies. We have analyzed movies to get an idea how we use the sound design in Swedish drama productions today. This paper reports a study in how interaction design and graphic design is affected in the process of developing an mobile application to complement the use of an existing webbsite. The paper also ask how developers are affected in this process by the use of designpatterns. The purpous of the report was to see how designpatterns affects the development of mobile applications and how the interaction and graphic design differs between various company webbsites and their related application. A study was conducted by comparing three diffrent webbsites with three related applications to find material for our thesis. Interviews were conducted on three diffrent companys that work professionaly with creating mobile applications.

When different type of programs are developed one wants to make these adjustable to future changes and requirements. It must be done a good design of the program from the beginning to make it possible to continue development of it without having to redo big parts of it to high costs. In the area of object orientation there are design pattern, which can be used to design systems that can be adjusted to new changes in an easier way. I have in this thesis chosen to take a closer look at how to design a program that sends SMS to cell phones through a system of an operator. One requirement on the program is that it has to be possible to change what operator to send though in an easy way.

Dagens skola skall sträva efter att ge varje elev en chans att utveckla sin förmåga att själv bedöma sina studieresultat samt bli medvetna om sitt utvecklingsbehov i förhållande till kursplanerna. Detta arbete behandlar studium av ett experiment med självbedömning där studenterna fick bedöma sina svar på de olika uppgifterna gentemot lärarens svar på samma uppgifter. Syftet med arbetet var att ta reda på studenternas uppfattning om värdet av självbedömning som inlärningsmetod. Vår datainsamling skedde genom sex semistrukturerade kvalitativa intervjuer med studenter på en lärarutbildning i södra Sverige. I vår resultatredovisning valde vi att dela in studenternas uppfattningar i olika kategorier för att göra vår analys mer överskådlig.

I chose to do this work because I believe that today?s industrial designprofessionals lack in their task of creating aesthetic experiences and aestheticdiversity.With my work, I want to question why the majority of today?s technical, massproducedeveryday products have such a similar design expression, andwhy alternatives are so few. Most of all, I take a critical attitude to today?sstereotypical industrial design aesthetics that I would describe as technical,masculine, and unnecessarily complex.I have designed a number of products that show alternative aesthetics in thissegment and as such I have chosen the vacuum cleaner. The idea is that mydesign will serve as an eye opener and demonstrate that there are alternativesto today?s homogeneous market.The result is three vacuum cleaners claiming three alternatives to currentofferings.

This study is essentially based on my own questions concerning contemporary playgrounds. Why are they so unimaginative? What do the children say about them? Is it possible to create playgrounds less constructed, and with more natural elements? This report starts with references to literature studies, personal references and my personal view, and ends with a suggestion for a physical solution for an actual day care centre. The aim is to learn more about how the natural environment affects children, the importance of playing, and try to use this knowledge in a design of a day care centre. My main theme can be summarized in the following question: Why is natural elements in playgrounds considered to be healthy for children? I wanted to create a playground with natural characteristics which I myself would have appreciated as a child.

Uppsatsen bygger på en analys av en exit-nod i Tor-nätverket i syfte att efterlikna ett tidigare experiment från 2007. Experimentet går ut på att analysera den information som kommer genom nätverket för att leta efter okrypterade lösenord. Experimentet görs i syfte att påvisa de brister som finns i nätverket och i användarnas säkerhetsmedvetande. Arbetet utgår från frågeställningarna:Går det att utvinna känslig information från en exit-nod i Tor-nätverket.-       Går det att utvinna okrypterade lösenord från en exit-nod i nätverket?-       Vilka typer av tjänster tillhör lösenorden som uppkommer i analysen av den insamlade data?För att kunna besvara mina tre frågeställningar har jag valt att göra ett experimentellt arbete för att ta reda på om användarna skickar okrypterade lösenord, och till vilka tjänster lösenorden tillhör.

This report presents the development process of a mobile interface for the C2-monitor. A monitoring tool used to support the operations for the broadcasting services of Ericsson Broadcasting and Media Services (EBMS). With the support of the C2-monitor, operators can monitor hundreds of channels and services produced from EBMS. To enhance a more flexible working environment, the C2-monitor needs to be developed further to support mobile devices with a customized design to take advantage of mobile phones features and functionality. Established and well-recognized design methods and principles have been applied in the development process and user testing have been made iteratively throughout the project.

Korrigeringseffekter och stereotyper hänger ihop, för att studera detta användes bilder av ansikten med olika etnicitet och självrapporteringstest skapade av Nosek, Sidanius och Pratto och Dunton och Fazio.Svenska studenter vid Lunds universitet deltog i undersökningen där de delades in två grupper med olika instruktioner, dels falsk information om undersökningens syfte och dels information att vi studerade stereotyper. Detta gjordes för att kunna studera deras korrigeringseffekter. Följaktligen var studien av en experimentell design.Vi fann att korrigeringseffekter fanns hos de båda grupperna vad gällde alla etniska grupper utom vita män, vilka inte hade korrigerats av den grupp som fått felaktig information. Detta visar att korrigering sker för alla minoritetsgrupper till följd av en önskan att inte verka fördomsfull oavsett kontext..
