Detta kandidatarbete tar upp att det idag råder det stor brist på mindre bostäder, så kallade enboende. Boendeformen efterfrågas av framförallt fyrtiotalister som flyttar ifrån sina större hushåll till mindre samt nittiotalister som ska göra debut på bostadsmarknaden. För att lösa tillfälliga bostadsbrister och för att värna om en mångfald finns det idag en planeringsdoktrin som handlar om att blanda och förtäta bostadsområden. Dock är idéerna svåra att genomföra då detaljplanerna ofta är reglerade till att enbart uppfylla de syfte och behov som fanns under den tid då de upprättades. Genom en undersökning och ett tillämpat planförslag som arbetet innehåller, uppmärksammas att det behövs mer flexibla detaljplaner som medger och inte hindrar uppförandet av mindre bostäder. För oavsett om det föreligger ett allmänt intresse eller ej så hindrar idag planpraxis möjligheterna till detta.

Uppsatsen behandlar ämnet ?Hållbar landsbygdsutveckling? och syftar till att utreda vilka planeringsstrategier som kan tillämpas i tätorten Grebo i landsbygdskommunen Åtvidaberg.

The importance of daylight for humans has been known for a rather long time. Applying this knowledge in the science of urban planning is not very common, at least not in Stockholm, Sweden. Living in a country far from the equator with great differences between daylight and darkness during the year, daylight gets even more important for our wellbeing. This study aims to highlight the subject of daylight planning and contribute to the discussion about how to include daylight in the process of urban planning. By critically observing a new built district in Stockholm and applying guidelines of how to use daylight planning, this paper shows how important it is to include daylight planning early in the process.

Vikaholm är en fantastiskt trevlig plats med många fina natur-, kultur-, och rekreationsvärden. Platsen gränsar till stadsdelen Teleborg i södra Växjö. Examensarbetet beskriver hur det är möjligt att inrätta bostadsbebyggelse i ett sådant område utan att förstöra dess stora värden. The purpouse of this study is to find out how and if a Content Managment System (CMS) can benefit from applied User Experience Design (UX). A work project has been executed where a client wanted the students to create a user friendly CMS for adding content to a global hotel review site. A prototype of a CMS was created based on literature studies about UX and CMS. The prototype of the user friendly CMS was then tested through user tests and interviews with key users. Rapid urbanisation is putting strains on both the landscape and the city dwellers and the pressure on planning for sustainable and equitable cities is crucial. As many cities in Sub-Saharan Africa are expanding, city planning has trouble keeping up to meet the needs of the growing amount of urban dwellers. Many cities have also been planned with the cars in focus and the needs and comfort of the pedestrians have been overlooked. The capacity of institutions is limited due to centralized government and bureaucracy, as well as corruption. Planning is erratically implemented and it is difficult to know what will happen.

Producing a building is a long and complex process. It consists of several parts, from the feasibility study and design stage onto the construction and finally the management of the building. The design process is a critical part of the process where construction plans are made. The quality of the plans affect the production phase in great extent and faulty plans can pose a risk for extra costs for all parts in the process. The cost of producing dwellings has increased the last years and the detail design process is one of many phases where improvements can mean cost savings within the whole building process.This report aims to point at parts within the detail design process which could be more efficient, regarding communication, follow-up and time planning, and to give suggestions for improvements.

Eftersom frågan om trygghet är en mycket viktig fråga som kopplas till demokrati och jämställdhet ? om allas rätt att få använda staden så som de önskar, utan att stanna inomhus på grund av rädsla ? så har i detta arbete undersökts vilka faktorer i den fysiska miljön som påverkar upplevelsen av trygghet. Arbetets fallstudie består av ett stråk i centrala Göteborg som har analyserats ur trygghetsaspekten. Genom intervjuer, platsbesök och en undersökning av litteraturoch myndigheters bild av trygghet, har en platsanalys gjorts och ett antal gestaltningsprinciper för utformning av tryggare stadsrum, tagits fram. Dessa har sedan applicerats på fallstudie-stråket för att visa hur känslan av trygghet skulle kunna höjas där. Efter detta arbetes genomförande har det kunnat konstateras att den fysiska miljön har ett påverkan på den upplevda tryggheten, samt att fysisk planering erbjuder ett antal verktyg för att öka trygghetsupplevelsen. Dock ligger en stor del av den upplevda tryggheten hos den enskilda individen och dess personliga bakgrund och erfarenheter..

AbstractThe research in the interdisciplinary field of natural-human-health-design has in recent decades gainedmomentum and led to new or new-old ways of thinking and acting in terms of planning and design of outdoorenvironments with the aim of health promotion. Concrete concept models and design guides have begun toemerge as a result of this research.The purpose of this work is to use these guides to develop a design proposal for a supposed health garden,with Wij Trädgårdar in Ockelbo as a base. This has been done in the form of a process description. The targetgroup for the design proposal is long-term unemployed and people who have come to Sweden as refugees.Since the specific design recommendations could not be found for the selected target group, the main materialwas general guidelines for health gardens in combination with guidelines for health gardens directed to targetgroups with stress-related problems, which is a broad target group for which there are relatively much currentresearch.The result is a process description of the progression towards a sketch on a health garden, designed for aspecific spot on Wij Trädgårdar, but available for use in other locations, provided adjustments is made to thespecific location. The sketch is supplemented with plant suggestions to different parts of the garden.

Purpose:The purpose of this thesis is: to determine key success factors for an organisation?s internal process of internalising future trends forecasting. Methodology:A qualitative approach has been chosen by examining three different companies (Electrolux, H&M and, Sony Ericsson) through interviews and other data. The empirical material have been analysed by using valid theory as a platform from where the analysis can be performed. This has created a conceptual analysis that enables the use of the conclusions in other similar companies.

Det pågår en diskurs om att reducera bilismen och det blir därför allt viktigare att skapa hållbara gång- och cykelstråk. Detta eftersom bilismen påverkar staden negativt ur ett miljö- och trygghetsmässigt perspektiv. Då Karlskrona kommun avser att etablera ett nytt resecentrum med 450 närliggande bostäder i området Gullberna ökar behovet av ett väl fungerande gång- och cykelstråk för detta och omkringliggande områden. Det är därför av stor vikt att utveckla det gång- och cykelstråk som sträcker sig mellan bostadsområdena Kungsmarken och Marieberg via framtida Gullberna stationsområde och vidare mot halvexternt handelsområdet Amiralen för att tillgodose den nya befolkningsökningen i och med nybyggnation av bostäder och resecentrum..

Frihamnen är ett mycket centralt beläget, gammalt handelshamnsområde, i Göteborg, som angränsar Hisingen i norr och Göta älv i söder. Området var en gång i tiden sveriges största och enda oceanhamn. När varvskrisen slog till under 70-talet drabbades Frihamnen hårt, likt många andra hamnar. Varvet och hamnverksamheten avvecklades successivt och kvar blev en stor yta mark som frigjordes för andra ändamål. Sedan dess har diverse företag huserat i de kvarvarande byggnaderna och området har haft, och har fortfarande, funktion som arbetsplats. Idag är Frihamnen en del av Göteborgs Stads utvecklingsområde Centrala Älvstaden, vilket är det gemensamma namnet för Norra Älvstranden och Södra Älvstranden. This thesis is based on design theory about how to build an application for the mobile platform, a scientific analysis and an application for grocery shopping and meal planning. The thesis also contains a valuation of the research and of the application. The valuation of the application was done by a usability test and an analysis of the results of the test.The application of the thesis has an easy navigation system, which is time saving and simple to use. Finding recipes with the associated ingredients is a quick fix. The search function can be used for searching freely after recipes as well as for separate ingredients. That makes it possible for the user to create own recipes from available ingredients.

Enligt Plan- och bygglagen är samrådet en obligatorisk del i en planprocess. Efter att ett samråd har hållits ska de inkomna synpunkterna sammanställas i en samrådsredogörelse. Samrådsredogörelsen blir då en del av planhandlingarna för det aktuella planområdet. I det här kandidatabetet granskas och undersöks hur en samrådsredogörelse skrivs. Det tar sin utgångspunkt i Plan- och bygglagen, i både den nuvarande och i regeringens proposition till en ny Plan- och bygglag.

This bachelor thesis in Landscape Architecture is about the planning and design of public spaces in small towns in Sweden. My opinion is that the small towns often are overlooked and my determination is to see if that is right. The purpose with this thesis in Landscape Architecture, with focus on a durable society is to find the central public places in small towns and evaluate their function. This thesis has a focus on good design of central public spaces, designed for the inhabitants of the small towns. A small town, which is the focus of this thesis, is defined to have 200-2000 inhabitants. The small towns, which often are built around industries or the railway, have since the nineteen seventies a problem with people leaving them for the cities in the urbanization. Currently there is also the opposite trend with people moving out from the cities, but to live on the country side, not in the small towns.
