Voltage sag indices are a way of quantifying the performance of the power supply, as far as voltage sags are concerned. Indices can be defined for individual events, for individual sites, and for a whole system. A standard method for single-event methods is part of IEC standard 61000-4-30.This thesis emphasizes the importance of voltage sag indices and different methods for calculating three-phase voltage sag characteristics. Three-phase events measured in a medium network voltage over period of one month were analyzed, results examined and statistically evaluated. An algorithm for calculating voltage sag characteristics and indices was created in Matlab.

På Linköpings universitet använder man sig sällan av versionshanteringssystem i kurser. Istället sparas till exempel programmeringslabbar på enskilda personers UNIX konton. Detta leder till problem både när man programmerar i grupp men också om någonting skulle gå snett. Labhandledaren har också mycket sämre vetskap om hur specifika gruppers arbeten framskrider och många grupper kan få hjälp för sent på grund av detta. Troligtvis kommer versionshanteringssystem användas mycket mer i framtiden.Att läsa versionsloggar för att följa upp grupper är ett osmidigt och tidskrävande jobb och ger dålig överblick.

I denna komparativa studie av användbarhet undersöktes telefonerna Sony Ericsson T630, Simens S65 och Nokia 6230 för att kunna se vilka felassociationer deras respektive gränssnitt ger upphov till. Studien är gjord därför att jag fann de metoder för att studera gränssnitt i mobiltelefoner jag kommit i kontakt med fokuserade alltför mycket på effektivitetsaspekten av användbarhet. Metoderna var inriktade på vana användare och för studier av människor med relativt liten erfarenhet var de obrukbara. Under arbetet har en ny metod för studier av denna typ tagits fram med fokus på ändamålsenlighets-aspekten av ISO 9241-11. Jag har undersökt hur väl sju medelålders personer klarat av de olika gränssnitten och kartlagt deras tidigare mobiltelefonvanor.

In this thesis the survival and development of a yearly recurring event will be examined. The purpose of this work is to examine how the festival Stockholm Pride has developed and to find out what underlying factors and conditions that lays behind the development. Also being examined is how the event affects Stockholm city?s tourism industry. To be able to fulfill the purpose of the thesis a qualitative research has been used and two persons with allot of knowledge about Stockholm Pride and Stockholm?s tourism industry has been interviewed.

The purpose of the study was to describe how women with deliberate self-harm behaviour experience they have been treated when conducting health care. The study has a qualitative and descriptive approach and data was collected with snowball sampling. Data was analysed with content analysis and ended up in three theme ?Feeling of violation of integrity and autonomy?, ?health care staff don´t have the courage to step in and take responsibility? and ? Personal confirmation and validation of feelings?. The results showed that many women with deliberate self-harm behavior feel that they have been badly treated when they conducting health care.

This master thesis has been carried out at Scania R&D at the department of Powertrain Control System Development during the winter 2011/2012. The purpose of the thesis was to produce a method that with the result of troubles codes from the field testing would be able to say something about the maturation of a component, in this case the VGT, variable geometry turbocharger. To start with, it was necessary to investigate hich information was available. After the information been summed up in tables and charts, this so that it was possible to understand the huge amount of data, the calculations started.Since the thesis was about maturation of a component the proportions were calculated of components that had a trouble code in contrast of those who passed the test without a trouble code. This Thesis includes background information about basic of statistics and about the company Scania and its testing process.

This is a Bachelor?s degree project withthe aim of investigating how to preventwarranty errors in apartment buildings.Our goal has been to compile the mostcommon warranty errors and the reasonbehind them.To achieve this goal, we have studiedthe warranty protocols from fiveprojects. We also performed interviewswith people who work in house productionand people who work with warranties. Thepurpose of the interviews was to findout the underlying causes of warrantyerrors and what one could do to preventthose.Cracks in walls and ceilings were themost frequent remarks on the warrantyprotocols. Remarks on the floors,windows and doors were also common, butnot to the same extent.

The material is analyzed using descriptive tools, cross tables and correlation matrices in which general characteristics as well as individual understandings of the network communication are presented and discussed.Main results: The general results indicate that the network communication serves important purposes, such as providing support and motivation for the members and changing attitudes towards equal opportunities. The analysis suggests that the network members have good communicative possibilities to serve as agents of change within their organisations. I denna uppsats har vi undersökt ett produktutvecklande IT-företag med rötter från konsultbranschen. Syftet med uppsatsen var att se hur ett produktutvecklande IT-företag skiljer sig från ett konsultföretag. Vi har även undersökt hur det produktutvecklande företagets rötter från konsultbranschen påverkar arbetet med produktutvecklingen. Vi undersökte detta genom att på ett IT-företag göra en kvalitativ studie som främst bestod av intervjuer. Med hjälp av teorier har vi undersökt företaget inom fyra olika områden: företagets systemutvecklingsarbete, skillnader mellan tjänster och produkter, organisationens utveckling och företagets interorganisatoriska nätverk.

The study aimed to investigate the acute medical chain consisting of SOS operator, ambulance nurse, emergency nurse and emergency physician with regard to the assessment and prioritization of the victim.The design of this journal study is retrospective with descriptive approach. Data were collected from all ambulance missions carried out in Uppsala county 2009-01-01 between the hours 00:00 to 12:00. Sample period was chosen because the prerequisite for high frequency on the ambulance mission was supposed to be good. In order to be able to systematize the compilation of data a protocol were prepared and used. Applicable data were collected from three databases SOS Alarms, ambulance operations, and the University Hospital in Uppsala.

Early extubation of cardiac surgery patients has become increasingly important. The assessment of the patient before an early extubation is crucial and the intensive care nurses (ICU nurses) in this estimation is there for very important.The aim of this study was to examine critical care nurses' knowledge of early extubation, and what view ICU nurse has about factors that affect the time to extubation of cardiac surgery patients.A quantitative approach with descriptive and comparative design was used. Selection was all ICU nurses at a thoracic intensive care unit who were clinically active in patient care.The study showed that ICU nurses had good knowledge of why an early extubation was essential. However, the knowledge about the unit?s extubation criteria was low.

Background: Many women experience high levels of pain after caesarean birth. Adequate postoperative pain treatment is important for the mother to be able to breastfeed, take care of the infant and experience a positive birth. Objective: The overall aim is to study women?s experience of postoperative pain and pain relief after caesarean birth. Method: A quantitative retrospective survey.
