Uppsatsens övergripande syfte är att undersöka om, och i så fall hur, unga vuxnas erfarenheter av separation och vårdnadstvist mellan föräldrarna under barndomen inverkat när det gäller inställning till samlevnadsfrågor. Mer konkret är avsikten att söka svar på frågor som beaktar principen om barnets bästa, attityder gentemot relationer, separationer och giftermål liksom dagens relation till föräldrarna. Tolkningsramen som användes för att tolka och förstå uppsatsens empiriska material baseras på de inledande bestämmelserna enligt 6 kap. föräldrabalken, några risker med socialarbetarens förhållningssätt, barnets känsla av ansvar, lojalitet och hemlighållande, barnets överlevnadsstrategier och kognitiv dissonansteori. Dessa tolkningsredskap var effektiva för att belysa unga vuxnas erfarenheter från barndomen och deras attityder till samlevnadsfrågor.

This study was made to compare and distinguish any differences in olfactory recognition and host plant adaptation between two strains of cotton leaf worm, Spodoptera littoralis. The populations used were established in Egypt and Benin, Africa. The documentation consisted of information about (1) each of the strains development through the larval stage up to pupation on diets of cotton, clover and cowpea. (2) Their oviposition preferences as adults between cotton, clover, cowpea, maize and cabbage. (3) Electroantennographic recordings to quantify any possible responses to plant volatiles. Throughout the diet experiments the larvae from the Benin strain showed significantly a better development between artificial, clover, cowpea and cotton respectively, while the Egypt strain had significance between artificial, cotton and cowpea/clover as diet. Also noted was how the strains substantial development of weight differentiated if fed the cotton diet, followed by the cowpea diet showing that the Benin strain would develop a higher body mass on a cotton diet as well as on a cowpea diet. This trend was however switched once the pupal stage was reached, where the Egyptian strain contained a significantly greater body mass than the Benin strain on the artificial and the Benin strain a greater on cowpea, which suggests that in the end, the Benin strain develops significantly better on cowpea while the Egypt strain develops better on an artificial diet. During the oviposition experiment that both stains showed a clear difference in hierarchy of host plants considered suitable for oviposition, where the Egyptian strain is significantly more attracted to clover than the Benin strain. Also showed with electroantennographic recordings and significant values was the higher sensitivity the Egypt strain had towards (E)2-hexenal, (E/Z)-b-ocimene, (Z)-3-hexenyl acetate, Nonanal, (-)-linalool and ?-myrcene when compared to the responses from the Benin strain..

Today there are many students with behavioral and developmental disorders in schools. One of these disorders is ADHD. The medical designation ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I have chosen to research how two students with ADHD can be included in a fifth grade classroom.This research paper addresses the issues surrounding the student?s day-to-day life with a focus on the classroom.

Studiens syfte är att undersöka om barn och föräldrar känner till instrumentet trumpet och vilka föreställningar de har om detta instrument. Mina frågeställningar är: Vad vet 6-7 åringar och deras föräldrar om instrumentet trumpet?Vilka föreställningar har de om instrumentet trumpet? För att ta reda på dessa frågor har jag genomförd en enkätstudie i Arvika med barn i första klass och deras föräldrar. 33 vuxna och 34 barn från sammanlagt tre skolor deltog i undersökningen. Resultaten visade att kunskapen om trumpet är ganska stor bland 6-7 åringarna och deras föräldrar. Alla respondenterna i denna undersökning vet vad trumpet är och över en tredjedel av de 67 respondenterna känner till någon som spelar trumpet. Bland barnen existerar ingen stor ?kändis? på trumpet, istället känner de till vänner eller bekanta som spelar.

Den här uppsatsen undersöker möjligheterna för vuxna inlärare med ett redan befäst icke målspråksenligt uttal, att förbättra sitt uttal med hjälp av riktad uttalsträning och ökad språklig medvetenhet. Uppsatsens syfte är att ta reda på hur samtal som ska tydliggöra svenska språkets karaktärsdrag, gällande uttal och uppbyggnad i kombination med riktad uttalsträning, påverkar inlärarnas förmåga att tillägna sig grunddrag i svensk prosodi. Till grunddragen i svensk prosodi hör betonad och obetonad stavelse, relationen mellan lång och kort vokal och konsonant samt olika intonationsmönster.Studien visar att alla informanter klarade av att uttala alla övningsmeningar med målspråksenligt betonings ? och intonationsmönster i talkör. Studien indikerar vidare att det dock inte var lika lätt att implementera det nya målspråksenliga uttalet i informanternas egenproducerade tal.

The aim of this study is to describe and examine the characteristics of inclusion of children with disabilities in the kinder garden and primary school in Belarus. The data in this study were collected through interviews with special teachers and staff at the Developing and Rehabilitation center. The interviews were supported by child-observations and a literature study. Staying in boarding schools prevents handicap students from integrating with the society as well as getting social experience. Integrated education demands the combination of two regularities: education of children with normal development and special education of children with psycho-physiological problems.

ABSTRACT Poverty, and in particular child poverty, is a serious social problem. Statistics show that the number of children living in poverty has increased over the last ten years. Earlier research shows that there are huge gaps in our knowledge of how the actors in civil society handle child poverty. With this study we hope to help fill this gap. The aim of our study is to look at how four different organisations working in the civil society in Uppsala perceive and handle child poverty.

Bakgrund Många studier visar att personer med psykiska besvär oftare drabbas av fysisk ohälsa och unga personer med psykossjukdom utgör en speciellt utsatt grupp.SyfteSyftet var att undersöka hur unga vuxna med psykossjukdomar upplever sin kroppsliga hälsa. Arbetet syftade även till att kartlägga patienternas uppfattning om hjälp- och stödbehov när det gäller upprätthållande/förbättring av hälsotillståndet.MetodEn kvalitativ studie med intervjuer med tio patienter. Intervjuerna analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.ResultatAnalysen ledde fram till ett tema: Synen på den kroppsliga hälsan är en strävan efter att med stöd och hjälp leva ett liv som alla andra. Temat uppstod utifrån fyra kategorier.1. Hur man lever livet ? livsstilsaspekter som studiedeltagarna förknippade med kroppslig hälsa, dvs.

The aim of this thesis has been to discuss whether remainders of colonial influences exist within the UN's definition of torture or not. The discussion has been presented from a postcolonial point of view, in dialogue with contemporary power critical theorists. In order to raise awareness of a potential colonial influence, the following questions were intended to be answered:?                                        Are there any reasons, if so ? which ones, to regard the UN's definition of torture as a colonial project? And;?                                        To what extent is the term ?inhumane? limiting for the prohibition against torture from a postcolonial perspective?One of the most central arguments of the chosen theories is that the term ?inhumane? evokes prejudices that a racializing apparatus within the social norms of the UN automatically produces. These prejudices are, according to the theorists, influenced by images of people in non-western and non-secular (especially muslim) societies as more prone to exercise ?violence? and ?cruelty? towards their own citizens as well as towards the population of the world in general.

During the last couple of years leaf-edge-cuts, typical to Otiorhynchus wingless-weevils, have been discovered on ornamental shrubs, especially Syringa vulgaris lilac and Ligustrum vulgare privet. These plant species have not earlier been attacked by wingless-weevils and because of that, the aim of this study is to see if new species of weevils have been established in Sweden or if the domestic weevils have changed their food preferences. This work also includes a literature study of known weevil species in Sweden and their host plants, and of wingless-weevil species in Europe that could be invasive here. Locations, where damage to previously named plants has been reported, have been examined. The extension and appearances of the damages have been documented in order to study if different weevil species make different types of edge-cuts.

Bakgrund: Inom politik och media beskrivs unga arbetslösa som oengagerade, lågutbildade och socialt inkompetenta. Denna uppfattning förstärks när allt fler unga inte lyckats komma in på arbetsmarknaden och blir långvarigt arbetslösa. För att åtgärda problemet att ta sig in på arbetsmarknad, sätts de in på arbetsmarknadsåtgärder. Stämmer medias bild över verkligheten? Hur ser åtgärderna egentligen ut och hur påverkas de unga vuxna över tid som arbetslös? Ligger ansvaret för arbetslösheten på personerna själva eller finns det andra bakomliggande faktorer? Hur kan systemet eventuellt förbättras? Metod: För att ta reda på svaren har vi gjort en systematisk litteraturstudie där vi använt oss av 29 artiklar.

Under vårterminen 2014 har vi arbetat kontinuerligt med ämnet långtidsarbetslösa unga vuxna.
