This essay describes how the author gradually gets a deeper understanding for his profession and the development of his professional skills, attitude and practice. The essay contains two main narratives representing examples from the author´s occupational practice, and through those narratives he tells how his practice alters and develops. These stories are also the basis for considering different aspects on how to get good models for practising a profession when you are a beginner, and how to manage ethical dilemmas. The starting point is when the author in the beginning of his career as a rural pastor is visiting a seriously ill parishioner at a province hospital. The course and the outcome of this call is surprising the young pastor, and the author tries to analyze the background to the outcome and assesses several possible explanations for the result of his call. The narrative is used to examine the attitude, the professional skills and the social and existential context for the author at that time. The patriarchal patterns in the parish are illuminated and questioned. In the second part of the essay the author investigates what will happen when pastoral cure transforms to psychotherapy, and how the author deals with phenomena in the therapeutical process such as idealization and secondary traumatization. On basis of texts written by among others Ingela Josefson, Fredrik Svenaeus, Christian Nilsson and Ulla Ekström von Essen the author seeks explanation for the development of his practical knowledge. SAMMANFATTNING Syfte: Att med kvantitativa metoder försöka finna faktorer som kan förklara skillnaderna i mängd antibiotikaförskrivning mellan tandläkare i Skåne och Västerbotten i Sverige. Metod: I denna utredande demografiska studie, gjordes en initial sökning i databasen Pubmed för att finna kvantitativa faktorer som påverkar tandläkares antibiotikaförskrivning. Statistiska uppgifter hämtades sedan från olika svenska register och tolkades för resultatet. Resultat: Ingen enskild faktor som undersöktes kunde förklara den högre förskrivningen av antibiotika som ses i Skåne. Resultaten stödjer hypotesen att det inte finns någon kvantitativ faktor som kan förklara Skånes förskrivning av antibiotika. Slutsats: Skillnader i mängd ordinerad antibiotika mellan de två regionerna i Sverige kunde inte förklaras genom att undersöka de kvantitativa faktorerna som använts i denna studie. The subject of this Master?s thesis is the process of change in a public library context, the implementation of the Stockholm City Library?s homepage Biblioteket.se. The aim is to examine the factors that influence this particular change and how they affect the process and extent of change in practice. Ätstörningar som anorexia nervosa (AN) och bulimia nervosa (BN) innebär ett folkhälsoproblem som kan orsaka oral ohälsaStudiens syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att undersöka vilka orala problem som förekommer vid AN och BN.Material och metod: Studien genomfördes i form av en litteraturstudie. Material samlades in via sökningar i databasen Web of Science. Resultatet baserades på en sammanställning av sju vetenskapliga artiklar.Resultat: Resultatet visade att ett flertal studier har redovisat förekomst av orala förändringar vid diagnoserna AN och BN. Mest förekommande var dentala erosioner och hypertrofi av glandula parotis. Men även förekomst av karies, parodontal sjukdom samt orala slemhinneförändringar och infektioner framgick.Slutsats: Slutsatsen med denna studie visar att de mest förekommande orala problemen som uppstår vid AN och BN är dentala erosioner samt hypertrofi av salivkörtlarna, även orala slemhinneförändringar och infektioner förekommer..

The background to this thesis is that we know very little about lesbian and bisexual women's sexual health in Sweden, particularly in relation to sexually transmitted infections (STI) and their transmissions. An internet-based questionnaire with self-selected participants targeted to the group WSW (Women who have Sex with Women) has been implemented. An international survey on the subject shows that the WSW has sexually transmitted infections. This is also in line with the results in this study. The most common sexually transmitted infection in the survey is chlamydia which 12.3 percent have had.

Osteological analysis was carried out on skeletons from nine graves from a medieval cemetery in Ny Varberg, Varberg, Halland. The graves originate from a monastery and a church, dating back to the fourteenth and fifteenth century. The main aim with this thesis has been to study health through the presence of pathologies and skeletal changes. Further aim was to compare the results from the present study with theresults from Torsten Sandbergs analysis of the same material from 1964. This comparison later showed coincidence.

This study seeks to outline the reason why public limited firms choose to bear the cost of auditing despite the annulation of legal requirements. The aim is to provide an overview and a better understanding of the decisions made by such firms. My research work focuses solely on the dentistry branch. Relevant data has been collected through interviews and adequate scientific theories are implemented to canvas and analyse the reality of auditing for public limited firms working with dental services.The background knowledge contains historical aspects and the importance of audit obligations together with the fact that the law no longer regulates these conditions. To begin with, the regulations were institutionalised in order to prevent financial and fiscal criminality and offence, in public limited companies.

This paper examines the opportunities of landscape architect students to integrate with other students which are related to the landscape architects vocational field during their education. It also involves a discussion about the profession of landscape architects and the view of landscape architect students concerning who they will work with in their professional career. Six qualitative interviews were carried out to identify how one work with student exchanges, both within the landscape architecture education program and in voluntary forums during the students' leisure time. The interviewees have experiences of different student exchanges and different approach to landscape architecture education at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in Alnarp. During the interviews, it emerged that the number of exchanges for different reasons steadily has declined in recent years. At the same time, the interviewed conceded that exchanges are important to prepare students for their professional career. An electronic survey was sent to all landscape architecture students at SLU Alnarp.

I Sverige finns en hög frekvens av rotfyllda tänder med apikal parodontit och en praxis för behandling saknas. Denna studie syftar till att röntgenologiskt kartlägga progressionen av apikal parodontit vid rotfyllda tänder som ej blivit föremål för ytterligare endodontisk eller kirurgisk behandling och att identifiera variabler som påverkar progressionen för att ge ett bättre underlag för behandlingsbeslut. Röntgenbilder på rotfyllda tänder med apikal parodontit som lämnats utan åtgärd (n = 120) granskades avseende förändringen av den apikala parodontiten under minst en 3-års period under åren 2002-2011. Progression av den apikala parodontiten observerades i 22,5% av de studerade tänderna, trots att man sannolikt tidigare bedömt att den apika parodontiten inte behövde behandling eller att man kunde avvakta med behandling. Ingen av de studerade variablerna: den ursprungliga apikala parodontitens storlek, rotfyllningens längd, rotfyllningens täthet, typ av koronal restaurering eller den koronala restaureringens täthet befanns ha något samband med den apikal parodontitens progression.

AbstractIn this essay, I have chosen to examine how four teachers in a work unit think and work with linguistic development and strategies, particularly in grade 4-6. The teaching profession has gradually become more like a cooperative profession. Therefore it is in a general pedagogic interest, to know, how each one of the teachers in the work unit, are thinking about linguistic development, teaching profiles and the significances of a work unit to achieve their aims to provide for all the individuals in their classrooms. My intention was to find out if a homogeneous work unit or a heterogeneous work unit is to prefer in work with linguistic development, which initially made me focus and realise the importance of each one of my informants? answers.
